With reverse lights, is just one out or both? May be reverse light switch which is under car, ontop of transmission (pain in the ass to get to) It may also be a fuse which from memory is either inside the fuse box in engine bay or one of the ones behind battery TO get to the cabling in the rear 1. Took out boot floor mat 2. Grip the boot plastic seal thing (that your boot closes on) and gently lift from one end and continue to pull off 3. Remove the plugs (2 i think) from the lining (below the boot plastic seal you just took off) 4. Now on each side there are another 2 plugs you need to remove (big ones) 5. now once all plugs are removed you can take out the long liner (just the one covering the back of the lights) 6. you will need to take out light to change bulb (3 10mm nuts) need to be removed and then there is a seal that the wires rung through in the body work, push it in towards the lights (and unplug the connector to the cables) 7. take out headlight

If your going to do clutch then what i researched was: Part Number: 6072-2100 Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit. Stage 2 - Steelback Brass Plus Clutch Kit Part Number: 2-350Z-ST Forged Lightweight Steel Flywheel FW Weight: 18.65lbs (SOME ARE LIKE 8-13LB which is too light and will give you chatter, this one close to stock as possible) Reason i went Competition Clutch was due to their high torque and HP factor (550-600?) and close to stock as possible. I didnt get them from here but this is the ones http://my350z.com/fo...best-deals.html Make sure you also get New Slave cylinder Alignment tool Stainless braided clutch line Pilot Bushing Chromoly pivot ball

Diy For Replacing Glove Box Bulb?
R6n350GT replied to Alkatraz's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
all you need to do is remove the door trim plastic (start of back of seat side ) and it just unclips. unscrew the plastic screw of kick panel (where end of your feet are), Get screw driver and wedge the kick panel off front the front hole -> take whole thing off now unscrew the two screws from the bottom left and bottom right of the glove box, open it up and where the latch is there are two more and then another two on the top outer edge Now the whole thing pretty much just falls down and you have two things to unclip, the yellow plug (AIRBAG SO DONT UNPLUG THIS) - just push the two push pins in and then the glove box light, same deal.. Now you can replace it. Would take you 20mins -
Found it I will list prices that are without shipping from the USA but are the cheapest prices just from looking around on the net. As far as a built engine: Performance parts Wiseco Pistons 96.0mm (+0.020" Over Bore) 8.5:1 + Rings $1150 (includes eagle rods) Eagle H Beam Rods & ARP rod bolts $inc above ACL Race Rod/Main/Thrust Washers & Washers $165 ARP Main studs $167 NGK Iridium one step cooler spark plugs $70 *Dont worry about forged crank shaft OEM parts you will need Welsch Plugs (can be reused i guess) $30 Rev up oil pump (can use old one but i upgraded) $190 Water pump (can be reused i guess) $46 Overhaul gasket set $250 2x Timing Chain $210 3 Tensioners + 2 guides (you could get away with old ones but you never want to have to replace this stuff once engine is back in) $230 HR Head studs * $58 HR Head gasket * $58 * You can save alot of money by going the HR head gasket and HR head bolt route, they are good for 600HP http://www.jimwolfte..._HEAD_BOLTS.pdf if you want ARP head studs then $175 or $400 for L19s. If you want Cosworth head gasket then $260 Machine work that you will need to do (and will cost between $1200-1500) Head recon x2 Bore & Hone Deck block Chemical clean Balancing Crank regrind Other stuff so you can include in budget if needed Fuel pump DW 300ltr one (better than walbro) $170 DW injectors, 600 perfect for your goals $lots second hand for $350ish Radiator - you will need a better one than stock Koyo Rad Vs Stock $350 + fans ($120) Wideband gauge like Zeitronic ZT-2, maybe even oil temp/pressure gauge ($250-300ish) EMS: Haltech is the best but $ and cost more in tune fees, i went with Utec as it popular in USA and good for 600HP (can do more but by then you spending big $ and can afford the Haltech) Stopping power Stoptech Stage 2 (slotted rotors, braided lines, motul rbf fluid) $860 Get a pair of used brembos from g35driver of my350z $800-1200 (if u have stock non brembos) Save up for handling so you can use that 300rwkw whiteline sway bars and upgraded end links $700-800 then bc racing br coilovers $1300 If you want contacts of where to get the cheapest stuff (cheaper than prices i found displayed online) then let me know, trust me i researched the shit out of it, spoke to many vendors in the states, that list is countless hours of research...

Clutch Pedal Modification.
R6n350GT replied to Tricky-Ricky's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hmm.. did you ever try turning the bolt in like 5 screws to give a lower engagement point? I would try but dont understand this bit i actually just used the clevis and held the bottom edge of it flush with the old hole and using the original to make a mark, i then drilled this to the correct dia, so i could refit the plastic/nylon liner back in, thats it for that bit, you could probably put it all back together and live with the slight master cylinder rod misalignment, as it allows for a small amount.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); "><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); ">However i decided that i dint want to live with it, and so i just fabricated a small metal plate drilled with two clearance holes to fit the same size as the master cylinder rod, the holes in my case where drilled again at about 15mm centers, so i have enough clearance for the two adjusting nuts, the pics will explain it better, but you get the gist i hope got any other pics? -

Importing Body Parts
R6n350GT replied to R6n350GT's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Thanks i will look up interport. VLS said they spoke to their broker about the parts and if it would incur duty/gst and they said not based on what and how much ($950) the package is based on. What does size matter with customs? Another friend on here used rolyleahycustomimports and didnt pay anything and he brought almost exact same parts. -
I have a box of body parts im wanting to import 79"x40"x26" 1.35 cubic and 60kg Brand new parts, valued under $1000 Parts are for a V35 which is not locally sold and neither are the parts im buying. Who can recommend and good shipping company that will deliver from USA (LA) to Brisbane and take care of all clearance etc? So far my calls have lead to rolyleahycustomimports @ $910 Shiprite International @ $1183 wwcf @ $ 972 Vanguard Logistic Services (vls) @ $925 None inc insurance and all pickup from Brisbane. An example of breakdown of costs are Freight Charge: USD 242.09 Document Fee: USD 125.00 Port Charges: $ 89.08 Terminal Handling: $ 49.78 Delivery Order Fee: $ 75.00 Sea Cargo Fee: $ 37.00 Cargo Management Fee $37.00 Postage/Communication:$21.00 Quarantine Application: $ 56.00 Customs Clearance: $ 137.00 Looking forward to you help!

I have 3 sets from tire rack ordered. If tires are below $1000 then doesnt matter how much shipping is you dont pay GST. When you order tires make sure on invoice it says BRAND NEW, UN-TESTED, PERSONAL USE so customs have less of a reason to inspect the tires for dirt if they are new.. Shipping prices are cheaper if tires are over 100lb as fedex gives tire rack and discount, so u can pay $100 less on postage if your tires are over 100lb... If you shipment is over $1000 then you pay $150 in fees + GST which also then inc your shipping.. i was $6 over once and payed $295...

Fs: Cruise Controls For V35 & M35 - Diy Install
R6n350GT replied to Commsman's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Here is a DIY Guide i have done http://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/395674-diy-g35-350gt-v35-cruise-control.html P.S for manual you will need clutch switch if you really want it... Stock on is way to hard to get to. Oh and click click the on button, do not hold it on or it will turn on with a speed limit function not cruise control... Manc01 do u mind posting pics of your clutch setup please? -
