  1. in QLD E85 is $1.26 to $1.45 , usually 20c cheaper than 98 but you will need Haltech replacement ECU 1000cc + ID or IV14 injectors Haltech Flex fuel sensor Stage 2 at least return fuel system from CJM (-8 supply line, -6 return line, rails, fpr) Walbro 485 fuel pump in a modified fuel tank housing Maybe Surge tank or CJM twin pump housing if your going above 450HP
  2. so if i unplug both my vtc solenoids you saying the noise will go away ? once i start the noise is gone, ill try and video it. as for 10w40 PENRITE EVERYDAY PLUS SEMI SYN 10W40 5 LTR orMobil super 2000 10w40 Semi Syn ? Thanks
  3. Tried the ones from supercheap Rico ? and also Mobil 1 EP108 or something. Actually it does it abit after 1 hour but not as bad.
  4. i get a rattle upon starting cold start like oil pressure doesnt build up quick enough. Not sure if the engine i brought had this issue but since rebuild it has done it. Tuner told me cause of the BC Stage 2 cams i have.. once its started i can turn it off and for the rest of the day it starts 100% until i leave it for long period ~5 hours then it does it again. 5W30, 5w40 oils tried. New pistons, rods, rings, cams, timing chains, tensioners, water pump used revup oil pump, VCT solenoids from another engine as i was getting ecu error Engine fully machined, head work, new gaskets ect Only thing not changed was cam gears ?
  5. Is this still on ? what time and how long on the track ? cheers
  6. The drives side, it fall off when i was taking the basket out.. $60 for a plastic float.. damm, i think ill just fill the car up and rock it side to side and hope it floats back up where i can get it !
  7. Recall what it cost you? i just need the plastic float, not the fuel level sendor
  8. i also need a fuel float lol, talk about random parts!
  9. Oh i see, well now we have someone offering that in Australia... international post would be at least $100-150 each way
  10. Shipping is ALOT from america, they are LHD, the aftermarket ones are much lesser quality than OEM...
  11. 18" 9.5+15 sit flush, if lowered you will need to roll the guard.
  12. my brand must be only 10MHz and i only pick up like 3 radio stations.. cant get anything above 99
  13. How much are the KU22 for a set of 4?
  14. What is your budget? and tyre size?
  15. Yes off topic haha, my point was for the money the hankook evo v12 are alot of tyre for the price. Esp if u pick them up new for what im selling !!! PN-Mad, i agree most of the time with what you say and always hope you will help me with my turbo issues ! but no way RSR, KU36 or 888 are close to RS3, they are destroyed on the track. RS3 are on par with AD08, Z221, i dont know what A048 is, RE11 is the only one i would say outperforms them in that group. I wasted hours and hours reading experiance based racing threads on the use of RS3 Vs Z221 Vs RE11 Vs AD08. That friend i was talking about, 58sec lake side Evo 8 swears by RS3, alot of the guys in time attack use them. But back to topic, let me know if i can help out with the tyres !
  16. Thanks for the link, interesting. I now run the RS3 and my mate uses them in the Time attack series, as do alot of other competitors. If they can handle springbrook and mt nebo they can handle daily driving for a sedan ! My point was when comparing to other tyres in the same price bracket they are amazing tyres. 2 reviews http://www.modified.com/tech/modp-0904-hankook-ventus-v12-evo-k110-tire-review/ Came 2nd in a 10 tyre shoot out http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/hankook-ventus-v12-evo-page-10
  17. P.S i think the Hankook RS3 and Evo V12 are above or on par with Pirelli, dunlops and continentals in the same class of tyre. They did a shoot out and Evo V12 came 2nd just behind Michelin PS2
  18. what size you need? I have some Hankook Evo V12 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 and they are amazing. Brand new, i had a set in 19" and wow the thread life, grip, wet grip were amazing. Almost as good as Michelin Power Sport 2 which are 2x price. Where do you live? I have the set for $800 obo
  19. We also forced air into top of the wastegate, no change. Upon driving the car with the return pipe removed and waste gate vented to air i could not hear anything from it.
  20. He replaced the banjo bolt so it doesnt have a restrictor, i used the fittings he supplied as the ones that came with the turbo were too small. Let you know what happens this weekend.
  21. He said it should fill up 500ml in 30sec and yes its bush cored. so just have the engine on idle with this test? I cant find the flow rate of the oil pump.. i have the rev up one from 06 model DE
  22. i somehow missed this, i will text him today, thanks for the ideas scotty !! Yes there is a filter (not sure if some thing as restrictor) in the line, just before the oil pump side of sump? When you say drain hose, the one coming from turbo going to sump (passenger side) ?
  23. The side port goes to intake pipe just before the TB The top port goes to my boost solenoid, which then has the other port going to my TB spacer and the front port vent to air My HALTECH Map also goes to TB spacer My Fuel reg and boost gauge also goes to TB spacer
  24. Oil supply, how to i "drop the drain" ? Yes hypergear. He said check IC piping, wastegate which i did so now i have to pull turbo off the engine and i am not looking forward to doing that at all.. I either send it back to him or take it to mr turbo locally and get a billet wheel made up in either 3582 or resleeve the turbo and go back to 3037.. i dont know what to do... How do i look at the "tolerances" ? when i got it back i could pull the shaft in and out a few mm..
  25. Thanks Scotty, would have loved the help. move up to GC, better state anyway !!! Well turbo not boosting past 2psi... did leak test of IC piping and thats fine, jacked car up and took off wastegate pipe, put block off plate on the other end and got someone in the car holding revs and could not feel any air coming out of the wastegate (external). Also forced air into the top of it to force it close just incase and still not past 2psi. 3037 was highflowed to fit a 3582 in. A spacer was used to allow for the longer turbine wheel. The tuner seems to think the guy that highflowed it got the "profile" wrong, so the air going into the turbo has to be such a huge amount to just turn the wheel... at 4500 it only just starts making 2psi...
