  1. Its a bit lean, but what will a flash do? who does NIStune in QLD? chip torque wants like $1600 to do it when they have the software (they dont have it atm).... They said my headers are prob holding me back. Anyone else agree? how could i only get 10kw from all of that??
  2. Well i got 158 with fujitsubo exhaust and grounding kit Then i put on fujitsubo y pipe, 1/2 motordyne spacer, z-tube, CIA, HFC and gained frickin 10rwkw.. pffft biggest let down ever, my car is 170rwkw, so pissed off. But it does now sound frickin amazing and turns heads all the time.
  3. Oh well, if u were in Brisbane or Goldcoast i have a friend that could have copied your key... No BCM code needed nor those expensive nissan keys. For $180 u have it done, less if u get 2..
  4. Do you need an account to watch? how do u get it to play?
  5. 03 V35 24,xxx km when i got it. No wear marks on steering wheel or seats, plenum was pretty clean when i opened it. had auction papers with km on it so im happy..
  6. Where do you live?
  7. Good to know, thanks for updating everyone. Just a quick Q, can rolling in neutral with a manual do damage or pushing clutch in with traffic being bumper to bumper??
  8. 03 350GT Manual 24,xxx kms Highway driving (goldcoast to Bris) 90km = 7.7L Manual (no cruise control) 35mpg 7.71 per 100km 12km per L approx 680km per tank Have not got figures for city driving but that 90km makes the needle go from the that top bar on the fuel meter to the bottle of the top bar. Driving city i can see it at the bottom of that top bar at 50-60km so 40km per 100km less with city driving...
  9. It will cost you $400-$500 to get a new BOSE unit or it repaired. Double din will be much more long term 'safer' but more outlay. The double din shell will cost you 200-300USD which luckly is same as AUD atm. Pioneer unit, look on G35driver for which ones they use. There often have specials on amazon surprisingly so watch the forums for info. You then need to factor in 400-500 for the unit plus shipping, then someone to install it which most around here charge alot for this specialized work. if you dont have any experience with this sort of stuff and are not a DIY person then u will have to get someone to do it for you. There is a sticky with people all over AUS that know about G35's.
  10. For anyone who wants a key cut and programmed the locksmith in Brisbane that i get to do all mine can do what ever key you have. Even NATS5. No need for an expensive nissan key and BCM code. PM me if you want his details, one key is $170-$180 or something and if you want more than one done or a group of you want them done then he may be able to offer cheaper prices. They wont have the central locking or boot release but will start ur car and having a backup is always best...
  11. Any info posted above can either be found on mongooses site or on the front page of a google search. If it is a security risk then since i cant edit my post (so annoying btw mods) then please remove the link and i will complete this via PM so the info isnt accessible to everyone. But i would still like help in making a list of where wires are. Using a tool that tells u if current is running through the wire when active could take ages. Chris, no offence was taken, i have PM'd you and if reasonable $ i may get you to do it or any other installer that wishes to PM me. My step dad and I are not the average person that fails at most things. I service my previous cars, bikes, do any mods all myself like halos and auto swtiches below including doing alarms (never CAM driven ones before...) I dont mind paying a professional to do it but not if the price is going to be excessive just because the car is a import and a installer may feel they can charge what ever they want as the customer may not have other options. I hope this isnt the case and from what i see Chris helps alot of people and doesnt mind helping others even if he isnt getting paid. Any mod i do i teach people how its done. Learning is being empowered, people should know more about their cars. Eg with wiring that i guess if asked by a pro for a little help doing the below i would too be told i am WAY out of my depth. But now i can fix almost any faults with my bike that come up. BTW, a R6 stock doesnt have halos, HIDs and the only one side is low beam and the other high. Now its dual w halos and hids, all integrated into stock system, no tacky buttons. And here is the wiring diagram i modified to help others do the same... http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e208/Dav...utoswitch-f.jpg So any help with identifying what the V35 wires are that would be great. I will return the favor to this thread by helping others, esp when i do the halos on this car. Thanks
  12. I am trying to make this install of mongoose m80 very easy, for anyone who successfully installed any alarm in the V35 and knows what wires goes to what please reply to this thread. Thanks http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mo...0g-t339807.html
  13. I see Mongoose is a popular model to use, esp the MG80. I have just picked up the MG80G and am struggling to put together enough info to help myself and others who have basic info to install their own. I guess if a installer was able to do it in an hour they could charge $100 or so and no one would bother doing it on their own. I would appreciate their help either way. This is from the mongoose manual, showing the diagram of what wire goes to what: Here is what im hoping to put together but to fill in the gaps of what is req to install the mongoose The top 1-8 where do they go in the V35 The immobilizer wires, where do the 3 of them splice into? and where are these wires The bottom loom 1-14 is what i want to know where the wires can be found in the V35
  14. I know my car does not have one fitted, and im pretty sure the standard one is not working either as when i lock the car with FOB and unlock with just the key i can start the car and no alarm comes on. I have a Mongoose MAP80G ready to put on, how can i confirm the stock imobilizer/alarm is not going in interfere b4 i go ahead and install it.?
  15. Is there a GC/Brissy meet up for V35s??
  16. While i was installing my ipod i cleaned the filter, where can it be purchased from as it still didnt look clean..
  17. Is bigger always better? Are these regarded as being better than Brembos?
  18. Update; Either i sell these both or just send them back. One last offer for halos $40 each, $70 for both posted The 3M cover i am still talking to them but for the sake of sending it back $200
  19. http://stores.ebay.com/TheNismoShop-aka-We...;_sid=547488062 Email them, ask for Ruben. Ask what parts you want (go z-tube + pop charger [pod]) and spacer and say you want a paypal invoice and he will combine shipping for you. Gave me a good deal
  20. I saw a Sedan, low km, CVT-8 but.. only $14,999 2003 If you are not going to go manual get one like that. Or even the Stagea (same engine i think, same dash but wagon).... Edit: was on car sales
  21. I was gonna get these, put off by the 12 hr install time people speak of... Ill have to do with HFC resonated and y-pipe! OP: Google the install and do it yourself. There is nothing like knowing you did something on your own. !
  22. I tried searching on G35 forum but cant find anything. Try posting your question on there and you will get a better response i reckon as way more activity on there.
  23. Thanks for the help ! Air con is ok now but i got no idea what its for. I remember it falling and thinking i must remember thats where it came from... Frickin forgot...
  24. For those who live in QLD i have a friend that can copy any key. Just got two keys cut and programmed for my V35. $185e or cheaper if more than 1 or group of people get together and he will come and do them all. They are non nissan keys btw. Dont need BCM code, just a current key and the car. If you are after details please PM me. Cheers
