I have been looking at the V35 for few years now. Finally got around to getting one last week Some are saying their gear box is notchy? Mine has done 24K and is the best manual i have ever driven. It just knows where to shift into, its so easy, so smooth. My step dad who has driven many more than me also agrees. Don't get a auto, drive both, i did, manual is so much better. I got mine off nagoya motors (ask for Dmitriy, he will look after you). He may still have a 03 Black 6MT, Bose, Leather, Brembos, 22,xxx km, um.. steering controls, auto lights, dvd/tv player. I brought the pearl white one off him with similar specs and he can give you 3 yr warranty, he a great guy. PM me if u want to talk about getting a good car and what to look for. Make sure any you look at: The wear and tear should = the km of the car (there is a black v35 auto in nerang that reckons its done like 30k, BS, looks like 60K) u gotta be carefull, they can turn the speedo back Make sure the stereo can play cd's and eject them with no probs (take 6 with u and make sure it can accept them all, play and then eject) Listen to the audio and turn the bass and treble up to 2+ and listen for distortion and dropping out on the left side esp when driving. Make sure both windows when u hold and press the button for 1 sec auto go all the way down and all the way up. Make sure when you get out of car and close the door that the windows comes up another 1-2cm into the sill. - If last 2 not working, can expect 200-500 to fix per window. Check the condition of the routers, are they heavily worn = hard driving Any more Q just ask! Oh just FYI Stamp duty, 6mth rego and number plates in QLD is around $880 plus $175 or something for CTP. Then add insurance on top. If ur in QLD, get a online quote from just car and get NRMA to beat it by 10% They are amazing to drive, i ride an Yamaha R6 so i love the twisty, i go through very hard on the bike, took the car and it was GLUED to the road. Very sporty, people think its a M3 or Audi lol, but u gotta get manual ..... Engine is very responsive, there are heaps of things u can do to make it nicer without spending massive amounts.

Got my 03 ones coming in (i hope they are going to be right!!!) Will do a guide on how to install and wire these things. they look amazing and turn heads, more head per $ than any other mod i think... Any offers? Free express post in the price plus any help i can give to install them.

Yeah, dont buy these if you never held a screwdriver before.. But as for silicon glue, leaks, nope. Well depends on installer, Im no mechanic, i just love moding stuff. My R6 i did a year ago has had no leaks no condensation ...... Put in oven for 85 degrees for 17mins and then take out and push tabs up and pull apart. Put back together, re heat and push together (just sit on couch n watch tv as ur holding it, when it cools its all sealed.) Hey i just got a V35 (350GT skyline) last weekend and found a secret skyline club by accident haha My bro got home from holidays on one night this week and I took him out for a drive late at night, anyway as i am driving down this road (i wont say in here as lol, i think its their secret meeting point) we are behind a R31, R33 and a RX7, The R33 and RX7 take off fast, im stuck behind this R31, finally get a chance to overtake and i catch up 3mins ish later (man the V35 stick to the road like glue!!!!!), and i drive with them for about 3 or 5 corners and all of a sudden I think there has been a accident as i see like at least 20 if not more skylines all pulled over, there was no accident, they just hanging... We just pulled over at the front end of the pack and sat there for 5mins watching but no one came up to the car so we just headed home again... So point of story, there is a massive get together of skylines, but i dunno who they are or what forum if any they belong too...

I picked my 03 6MT Coupe up from sydney and drove it back from 8.30pm on sat and filled up near caringbah or tempe (forget where exactly), went to luna park to take photos and then went back to gold coast, got to ballina with fuel needle on the second line. Filled up the tank and it put 57.87L in it. so 22L left in tank (so 650km) 11km per L so another 250km left.. dunno if thats right but easy 800km. I reckon the whole 10 hr trip we saw 50 cars... was cold as too, around 3-5deg the whole way. Amazing. Edit: is a coupe QV35-DE

I jumped on Just Car did a quote for 03 V35 24yr old living in Robina (Goldcoast) QLD Insured for $31500 - exhaust the only added extra (just got wheels and have not included them yet) Just Car Standard excess is $400 (NRMA is $600 so i selected the $600 option in just car) bringing yearly price to $1080 Vehicle excess is $800 for cars that cost more to fix / often crashed And age excess $350 Just car wont insure a unreg car so had to ring NRMA as they do and will give you a cover note so u can drive it interstate and get it reg. NRMA price matched Just Car and they bet them by 10% So $979.20 yearly, $600 excess plus age excess BUT they don't have the $800 vehicle excess so way way cheaper. PLUS they will accept a agreed value (just car wont-or is very in-flexible). Very Happy Edit: Perfect rating 1 for life, no faults, claims, jail time etc

Not that i have my 350 GT yet but angle eyes are awesome, i did them on my R6, i used hair dryer and slowly heated up the glue around the whole lens edge, then reheat as u put back together. and (not the best pic from straight on but they look awesome in real life !! ) And these kits are now under like $55USD delivered. I will be doing mine straight away

How much extra is it worth paying to get a 2005 V35 over a 2003 V35? Trying to decide do i get a 03 for 23-24K or spend 27-29K for 05 ... Anyone been in a similar situation and made a decision they were happy with and no regrets ?

Maybe going to buy a V35 Coupe Manual. Would like to know how much a few things are to replace to negotiate in price. Its non Navi but inside top glove box has the blank cover missing from the optional navigation dvd drive, its just a big hole atm - you have this? Also the gear changer is bit worn, would love to change it to better looking one as the plastic is peeling off - how much for this? With the air induction - it no longer looks like this The grill to collect air is not there and the air box is not there, just has a pod filter on the end of the hose. Should i care about this?? when looking where the box was you can just see the drain hole.. Also the right hand side window when your in the car goes all the way up and into the sill. But 1. when you open the door the window comes down (as it should) and when you close it, does not go back up 2. when you hold down the button to put window up or down it doesnt automatically do it itself 3. when the door is open the button will not make window go up or down Do you have the mechanism to fix this? the guy said some japanese parts place near south port quoted him 20-30 to fix... Oh also the little plastic cover that goes over the screw in the inside left door handle - need that
