I give a F**K about HP figure! I want it tuned, boosted AND to know exactley what its got at 4 wheels. I dont need to know if its got a higher HP than anyone else. I already know I have a bigger cock than most blokes so dont need braggin rights about big HP to compensate...

Not keen to go playin around with pulling fuses to stop front diff from activating but. If it is in 2WD mode, wont that give in acurate HP figures?

Ha! Yeah I laugh at it now... I saw dollar signs when it happened but! I could ony select 3rd or 5th gear when it happened. Was quite hard to drive with a triple plate brass button clutch Forgot to mention that the gearbox is installed in a 1998 S1 Stagea Autech.

Can anyone reccomend me a mob that knows how to tune and boost GTR skylines? I would prefer them to be at Newcastle but will travel to Sydney if I have to.

Hey all. The gear stick in my Stagea 260RS came out of it position yesterday after a quick gear change in to second. Anyhow, I got a temporary fix for it (its still not quite right), but I am looking for the correct part number so i can order the parts and be confident it wont happen again. The part is a little nylon nuckle that is on the very very end of the gear stick that goes inside the transmission. It on the end of the gear stick below the pivot point. Its basically what decides what gear the transission goes in. Thanks in advance!

Yup. I work in a coal mine. I operate the smallest Digger there which weighs 300ton. Most of the others are 600tonners and the largest 2 are 1200tonners... Those babys can dump 100tons of dirt on a truck in one scoop!

I find it hard to believe that the EPA can simply see your car and then send you a letter telling you ya have to take it to em to have it tested. Sounds dodgy. Get legal advice perhaps?

I ran it through Google as well (on between load 200ton trucks at work) and found some great info on it on Wikipedia. There was even a video on it! I will be having an indepth look as soon as I get home. Its a bloody awesome drivetrain. The Japanese are bloody Clever!

Thanks for posting this info up. I was also wondering how the drive system works. Dunno what you'd have to be doing to get 100% driveto the front wheels or 50:50 as you also called it. Even "popping" the clutch at 4000rpm while rolling in 1st gear with my brass button exeedy clutch makes the gauge for the front drive move a lil bit.

How much did it cost you? I so want one!!

I have a set of roof racks for a Stagea for sale. They were given to me when I purchased my car but I have no need for em. They are for snow boards and snow skis. I am not sure of the brand, but send me a PM if you want to know more about em.

You can get slotted alround. But can not get cross drilled for the rears, only the fronts. the vehicle has Brembo brakes alround.

What have I done to my Stagea today? Edited by moderators... . And then pulled it up in about 100metres using only the brembos and no gears. This car is amazing...

Does anyone know how many autech 260's were made?

I am after some new brake rotors for my 260RS Stagea. I want to do track days but I am worried about cross drilled brakes being "weaker" than slotted rotors and therefore warping under extreme heat conditions. Am I being to worried and under informed here? I can only get cross drilled (apparently) for the front so will have to run slotted on the rears. Will this be an issue? Also can someone clear up... does this car have an R33 or R34 drivetrain. Thanks!

Is there a chance that skylines aus forum can join up to tapatalk? It's for android and iphone and makes viewing the forum on these devices a lot easier and faster. I use it for another forum and wouldn't view it any other way! Just wondering if "the bosses" of skyline aus forum can have a look at it and consider it.

You picked it. I am sure 55725 is what I am after. When car is jacked up off the ground, there is movement in the rear wheels back and forth. So only the autech stagea has hicas eh?

Hmm.. what is the part at the end of the steering rack that turns the rear wheels?
