Automatic, registration until mid january 2012, 201,000 on the clock, TIEN suspension, plus the old set of tiens i pulled out of it.(2 are in need of rebuild in the old set) $6500ono, Contact me on 0413554497. Located mid north coast of NSW.

Sorry guys didnt think of this thread as i laid my hands on more tiens. Im in "mid north coast, nsw - coffs harbour" the old set of tiens had 2 busted, might be able to be rebuilt i dont know. i have some "street spec" tiens in there now, second hand but the ride is sensational. Im selling the Stagea now anyway. anyone want an S1 for 7k?

i have the AWD model, 1998 S1 AWD RB25DET I read the suspension thread in detail, but a bunch of ppl say yes, and a bunch of ppl say no.. or recommend against it I just need ANY rear S1 stagea suspension, stock would do me fine. It is only ever me in the stagea so spring rates and ride height are not a big issue for me, im very rarely carrying any kind of load in the car, the only regular passenger i have is my workbag and it couldnt be over 2kg! Hence why im asking if anyone has successfully installed GTST suspension into the rears without any issues, at wits end over here, as always last resort: anyone ditching thier stock rear s1 stagea suspension by chance?

Hi all, After reading extensively in the Stagea suspension thread, i am still fretting about putting R33 suspension into the rear of my 1998 model S1 Stagea Can anyone confirm they are actually running R33 suspension in thier stageas? The reason i ask is because i have failing TIENS in the rear of mine at the moment, i cant even consider buying a new set, but i can find LOADS of second hand R33 suspension floating around. does standard R33 suspension fit in too? or just coilovers, any clarification in the matter would bring me a great deal of peace of mind. And i apologise for bringing up a topic that im sure most of you consider settled, i just have to be sure, rural areas means shipping everything in from interstate. regards, Kyle.

Im after a set of working 2nd hand coilovers to suit 1998 Stagea C34, i had a wicked crack noise as i drove to work, mechanic checked it and confirmed that a coilover has shit itself. Tien isnt indestructable after all. Im located NSW, mid north coast, Coffs Harbour - Will pay frieght to have them shipped to me if needed. As a last resort, i would purchase original suspension to suit the C34, coilovers annoy me to tears anyway. But since the coils are still fine in rear, would still like to get coils back in front. Please contact me on 0413554497 if you can help, i cant even begin to consider buying new ones. money troubles etc etc. Thankyou in advance.

Item Summary: 1998 NISSAN STAGEA RS4, AWD RB25DET AUTOMATIC WAGON Location: NSW: Regional Postcode: 2455 Odometre: 187xxx kilometres Asking Price: $9,000 Condition: Used Reason for Selling: I need a smaller car as a daily. Delivery Methods: PickUp Contact Info: 0413554497 Extra Information: Nissan Stagea 1998 RB25DET AWD RS4 Colour: Pearl White Mods: Coilovers (Engineered) Bodykit: I have no idea what it is, but it has a small kit on there, front bar/skirts/rear hatch lip Car is registered in NSW, and ide be happy to supply a RWC if requested Car was just serviced by my NRMA and given a thumbs in regards to condition. The ONLY reason im debating selling it, is due to the fact its my only vehicle, and its too much fuel for lil old me to use purely as a daily driver getting to work and back 5/6 days a week. Ide be interested in part trade for 4cyl turbo + cash (will consider NA) I will not let this car go for anything short of the perfect deal, ide rather pay bigger fuel bills then trade for a lemon! My camera's memory card decided to die (as i tried to take pics) but if your genuine, i will hunt down a nice camera and get pics up for you. Thankyou for looking.

Yeah its all sorted guys, many thanks again to all who replied. Its behaving beautifully Would you believe i have had 2 Volvo remarks already since owning it under a week Its very much worth it with the amount of confused looks i get however, You can see minds racing trying to workout just what sort of car it is as i roll by quietly with a smile on my face Does anyone know off the top of thier head what the TARE weight is of a C34 1998 wagon is?

No the air filter itself was bone dry, its really quite baffling, but there was a substancial amount of water in the bottom of the airbox, unknown as to how it got there, it has all been removed, being on country roads and having coilovers, ide say some of it was being sucked up through the turbo and causing my problem, it has not happened at all today, ive done about 120km in total flawlessly. The Stagea was detailed previously to me getting it, perhaps a pressure hose was angled through the grill and spurted it up through airbox, thats my only possible idea so far.

Update: Cannot see any busted lines, or leaking lines. then again my mate decided for once in his life to leave his house before 10am and i did not catch up with him. I will still get him to check over it again yet. Now for the interesting find.. There was about 400ml of water chilling out in my airbox like a swimming pool I decided one checking the condition of the air filter after reading QWK32's post as i figured it could be something relative to an AFM issue, i did have that occur in the 180sx i previously owned and it was a similiar reaction to what happened to me on the HWY yesterday Much to my horror i discovered approx 400ml of water staring back at me in the airbox, initially i thought it was oil and almost cried on the spot. But no i assure you all its pure H20, well was anyway, i absorbed that sucker out into about 8 sheets of absorbant paper I have just taken it for 4 runs up and down my main HWY, 60>130, 0>100, 80 dropped to 2nd> 120, all close to full throttle with no issues what so ever. Could this have been all it was? i did also give the air filter a vigorous cleaning, wasnt overly bad to start with, 1 dragon fly, 1 stick inspect and random particles being the main suspects Im still suspicious that there is more to happen to the problem, and the ATF level is still a concern, but currently the car is behaving 100%. I'll keep you all posted, Many thanks again everyone
