Buy a GTR least no one can say oh but what about a GTR instead you'll have the experience and the pleasure of driving one. I would have got a R32GTR is i had about 6K more, but i didn't it went to insurance, transfer, service and tuning etc so i ended up with R33 GTST 95 series II for 20K. I've drivin a R32GTR and it is downright aggressive but oh well couldn't afford it.

Yeah i know, took me about 2 hrs to do, getting it to line up properly is a prick so it closes flush. Also got cuts from little shards being stuck in that plastic film. Like to go thief bashing sometime. My friends SS commodore got the inside stripped like 1 week after mine was broken into.

Ive read alot of the tyre posts and they all seem to be about the same in what people recommend and what to steer clear of. Fane --- interesting about those Nankangs at $135 each, i look for a grip tyre cause i'm not overly into burnouts and its wet aswell, automatic burnout environment. Its interesting with all those tyres out there, when you have a performance car your choice is drastically limited and you separate the talk and stats from the real performance of the tyre.

I've had guys at my work say they got their cars put on train freight from Melb to Perth for like $600 which i think is pretty reasonable. took about 4-5 days. Just phone up a transport company like WestFarmers or Toll and see if they can direct you to a company that will do it.

Series 1 and II are the same glass fitting they just have different tint colours like mine was a light grey which i was lucky i got but some have a shade of blue in them but if they are going to get tinted don't worry. Alot of the guys selling on there, willing to take any reasonable offer so $100 - $150 is ok. I ended up getting my window from QLD from prima in the for sale category for $175 overnight shipping. DON"T pay the $280 - $330 i was getting quoted for from the wreckers. You can install the glass yourself if your willing to hack around but if you are getting it tinted the tinter will have to do it for you. Hope all goes well.

I hear the Falken 451s are supposed to be good. Don't get Bridgestone GT Radial, useless in wet ,bugger all grip, yeah tyre great to do burnouts in, tread is rock hard but i want to stop on these things not keep going.

Good stuff, sometimes its luck of the draw too but $740 full comp wish i could get that i've paid out like $2000 in the last year alone going from one to another.

I used to have all this crap with RAC hey your lucky at 30 you are only paying 1K, i was quoted $4500 being 24, 55% ncb originally, you can't accuse me of being irrational when i said thats absolutely pathetic and no justification then hung up. I'm with JustCars now, paying $1300 including mods like stereo, mags, TT, boost control, intercooler, insured for $22K If it was a standard R33 i'd only pay $1K flat.

Also look in the For Sale section cause i was noticing alot of R33 engines being sold out of wrecks which from what the people buying them were saying were top notch. Sorry to hear about the blow up though.

Atmospheric bov - has to be a plumbed back system. pod filters must be firmly secured. Well i know for a fact that these 2 can have a permit made for them because i have one for them. And my BOV does make noise but its the way it was fitted can't remeber the technical of it but its not emiting into the atmosphere. I also have a permit for the my aftermarket rims. Just depends how much a pricks the cops want to be or the guy at the compliance centre in terms of you getting done for something illegal. Only things i know that there is no compliance and full illegal is LED lights on the bottom and hydraulic kit. Go Latino Heat.

Cheers man, yeah one of the other guys at work had his whole dash smashed and stereo stolen at Innaloo movies last Thurs so that why i was concerned when i heard the alarm and thought thats odd. Yeah defintely swipe their wallets want to clear out their accounts, early estimates is that the glass will cost $280 but fitting will probably be a bitch. All this after i just forked out $900 for Tafe second semester. We should catch up for a drink during lunch or something cause i'm usually at that lunch plus place across from Nissan.

Oh an also does anyone know (can't get in contact with wreckers on a sat arvo) if R32 drivers window panel is the same as the R33? cause there's a couple guys in the for sale section that have them for sale.
