i've been informed by my friend at Giant Nissan Ossie Park that the kwikfix rep in ossie park is very good, he works on their cars and the Volvo Saab place next to Alf Barbagellos. He's going to ask him this week what his prices are like but the best thing is that its a MOBILE service, he comes to you so none of the having to leave work and drop car off somewhere etc.

But gotta make sure they put the clear plastic coat ontop not just the flat paint. Saw these guys advertised on channel 10 www.kwikfix.com.au mobile paint repairers that also fix scrapped mags but yet to see their prices (callouts etc).

ok now this i got told from a cop friend ad he doesn't bullshit me with these things and its gonna make you never want to go to the hospital. Police gather their DNA records from blood samples when you are in hospital for an operation. Since you've signed a consent form to be operated on, all the 'bits and blood' the hospital takes out of you is their property and there is some clause somewhere that gives the police access to it. This is how they build their database plus also the samples they take from people who are arrested. But the logistics and financial aspect of it all is that if it isn't an important case like a murder they don't use the resources to pay for it. THey will take fingerprints and stuff and store it on file but they don't process analyse it unless the case is important. very weird though they took no forensics from the crime scene,

I'm looking at a few electrical things that aren't working on the R33 atm. Like i would like to get the fog lights fixed as they are there and i have the switch still in my car. Just for the sake of fixing it. Also my imobilizer isn't kicking in while the turbo timer is running to stop cause the car got broken into and something was done to it cause the window was gone and the sensor kept on going off. Just wanted to know who to go to that knows skyline setup not charge by the hr and see how it goes and isn't going to dick me around with price and parts. thanks.

dunno about auto cause from mem if auto dies its a shitload more to fix than manual. really depends on what you are going for becuase the R34 would be a cruiser car and going for the look thing while the GTR is flat out balls strip weapon.. Generally heaps of the GTRs that are coming in for around the $20K mark are heavily modded saving you money if you want more power later. I'd personally go the GTR for GTR's sake.

I've got 65% ncb and no crashes for 6 years so i only pay $1300 with JC if the car was completely standard R33 it would have been $1K but i'm really concerned about the 8 weeks for fixing and then the shop fixing it does a piss poor job. I'm really curious cause i just been informed its like a nightmare, the service was bad, the time it took before it got repaired was like 2 months, the parts and worksmanship was shit and there was no option of hire car.
