  1. Other than resetting the CEL every so often (there are ways to automatically circumvent this with some extra wiring), there is only good to be had from this mod.
  2. You got some time off, or a team of guys / 1 Jetwreck working for you? I like your optimism (that list of jobs would take me quite a few weekends).
  3. Wow Josh, spending up big mate! That's a fine selection of goodies you have there ready to go
  4. Most would agree that it is an excellent upgrade. By all accounts it will actually extend your transmission life. Shifts on light throttle are smooth, almost like stock, but the harder you go the faster the shifts. However, manually shifting down thru the gears isn't helped a lot.
  5. Since most of us on 18's run 245/45's, how far out is your speedo with same width & profile on the 19's?
  6. Nope, clean 'cause that's how I posted it
  7. Nice helmet, but how do you see out with all that writing? Also -
  8. Good one Rich! Great to see you've (finally) had success & worth a free plug to a business who looks after you so well. Hope they get rewarded by heaps of paying customers turning up on their doorstep.
  9. Maybe the cruise was the straw that broke the camels' back, so to speak
  10. Thanks for confirming that Ryan. Really, a mod for a M35 that's PnP ??? Must be a first, lol.
  11. What? C'mon Scotty, you're only guessing that is the cause . Pretty sure Ryan proved otherwise by disconnecting/reconnecting cruise control. Appears to only be an issue with (some) people running F-Con & given all the wiring changes involved with F-Con installation...... No one else with cruise control has reported TPS codes & most have had it working for over 12 months (mine over 18 months). Probably a combined error free distance of over 150,000km.
  12. C'mon Josh, no such thing as an M35 cruise in Qld, lol.
  13. That seems about as cheap as anywhere. I'm about to buy some stuff (not silicon) from http://www.siliconeintakes.com/ , & adding a 3" joiner would increase my order by US$6.99 (joiner) & US$3 (freight). So really no better off than buying it from your link unless they charge heaps for shipping
  14. What's the story there Josh? Did you have a different one that didn't work out?
  15. ^ Yes, yes I am. I put mine (RS) on the local weighbridge & it came in at 1800kg with me in it, after I had removed all the ususal suspects (spare wheel, tools, sub, mats etc.). All the lux adds weight, no doubt. I'm not concerned though. This article on the weight of the R35 GTR gives me some peace. http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/kazutoshi-mizuno-nissan-gtr-interview-top-gear-2012-02-23?imageNo=1 With the right tyres, our cars handle better in torrential rain than most do in the dry.
  16. Part it out Chris? Lol. Good luck. It's an absolute bargain for a lucky person.
  17. Yeah, neither can I & I can't reload it. Something up with the site??? I'll try to PM it to you.
  18. As far as the above strange things go: Boost sensor error code, 4WD warning light & window switch in auto up position - all of these happen to me at various times & never had stalling so not related. Fuel economy is, as Dale said, terrifying! That may have something to do with your probllem. If I had to drink 80L in 250km I'd stall too, lol. When you say most sensors have been replaced, does that include cam position sensor/s? And what about the fuel pump relay? See attachment for more info (G35 but relevant). Fuel pump info.pdf Otherwise, what Rich says above about rechecking for sand in tank & also for blocked injectors (remove & inspect/have tested or swap for known working ones) is good advice.
  19. If it is well drained with a new filter, the entire contents of a 5L container is perfect.
  20. Sounds very much like AFM, & given the pod filter I'm not really surprised. But the AFM's do give problems to guys running totally stock, so could be just one of those things... Recent thread (first thought to be blown turbo). http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/420866-m35-blown-turbo/page-2#entry6771732
  21. Yep, that's right - if coming by post.
  22. Yep, T30 X-Trail is part number that comes up when Nissan key in M35 number.
  23. Rang my spare parts guy & the part number I gave him has been superseeded by 22680--6N21A (T-30 AFM). He showed list price as $314 & trade price as $262. That makes your $255 price the right one & a pretty good deal by my stealership-o-meter. He also said there were none showing on the computer as being in the country but one/some? were due into Vic in a few weeks. I think it's about time I made some enquiries into a bulk purchase so we can have some on hand & for a better price.
  24. So much truth in above posts it's scary. Good old post is good reference. http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=249&p=2264&hilit=blitz+nur+touring#p2264
