  1. Mate, that looked like it hooked up great in the wet. Must have been one of the 4WD runs.
  2. That's where you drill out the turbo oil feed line at the banjo bolt. It is a really small hole that can get blocked by grunge, especially if service intervals were 'stretched' when back in the mother land. It is widely believed that Aaron's turbo failed due to this oil line being blocked.
  3. Hi Leigh. Give me a while & I may have a hi-flow you can try. But I wouldn't rush to change the standard turbo out, unless it's had it.
  4. Nice work mate. Can't wait to see the pics & vids
  5. Iains old car, right?
  6. Sorry, haven't done these for a while. Plenty on Ebay that are cheap (just don't have all of the features).
  7. The others were powdercoated? I wonder if Scotty's coating coming off & your mate 'finishing up' his coating business have anything in common?
  8. And then compare pricing from this Ebayer http://stores.ebay.com.au/4x4-and-Performance-Online?_trksid=p4340.l2563 He's a Stagea owner & member on SAU.
  9. Nah, everyone in NSW is supposed to get checked every year (cars older than 5yrs only). But my comment was more for other people - I would look at something like that if required
  10. Yeah Dale, as per my post from October LAST YEAR, please count me in too, .....again Can I have mine in Whiteline / Ox Motorsports silver? If not, please leave in unpainted (or undercoated etc) & I'll rattle can it myself. Thanks maaaate.
  11. Can't help with the cargo cover, but my car also was missing the toggle button thingy so I made my own. It's hard to find them as so many get stolen/go missing that no one wants to sell them.
  12. That would stop the annoying flash, but the lamp needs to be lit (& then extinguish) to pass rego check each year. I was thinking about a light on a timer circuit.
  13. I will chat to Darrin about grabbing the seats out of his wreck when I get the engine. They might have the missing bits.
  14. I think this ^ answer was what the OP was after. If wheel 'fashion' is not at the top of your priority list, then buying rims that run a more common tyre (hence better choice & price) is a smart thing to do. Unless you are a wheel whore, you will always buy more tyres than rims, & I've never seen a rim that adds more to handing & ride then a well chosen tyre.
  15. My Invo's were $189e (plus an extra $15e shipping 'cause I don't live in Sydney - actually I'd pay triple for the priviledge, but that's another story, lol) & were cheaper than every performance tyre (& most basic ones) up here. They are decades ahead of the Toyo Proxes 4 I had on previously.
  16. That ^, Dunc, is a sterling idea! It all depends if anyone is willing to separate them from the seats for me (temporarily to try first I 'spose).
  17. Had to Google that ^. I don't understand todays' fashion - getting too old, lol.
  18. ***cough**** Don't compare!!
  19. True story, I've seen it. No amount of turning the key off & on is going to help me. My car is missing the ram thingys under the front seats. Yellow clips are there but no explosive bits. I've tried the airbag delete, aka u-turn harness, but no fixy.
  20. What? If you are referring to your ham fisted attempt to install the cruise control, then LOL. Mine has been flashing since I got my car. I don't even notice it now
  21. Did sky^rkt go out again? Front page shows 12.6 @ 106mph. If so, well done!
  22. I believe it can be done by the Xanavi guys during the English translation. Otherwise, read this post (& ones following) for hard wired approach.
  23. It's all about undoing the 4 bolts for the g'box crossmember & lowering that down to allow the engine to tilt back on the mounts. This gives enough room to get to the O2 sensor & top bolt/s. You may also want to drop off some of the shrouds further down the exhaust. This is why I raise the back of the car as well, otherwise ramps would be all you need. Your mechanic will have it done in no time on a hoist. But tell him to leave the bonnett up when he puts it on the hoist, just in case the engine hits.
  24. Do you have ramps? I've changed my dump & turbo (twice) with the car on ramps & axle stands at the back. However, I do need hardwood planks (old stair treads) to get the car onto the ramps because they 'ramp' up too steep & the front bar will hit.
