Steering wheel switch panels have been ordered & paid. Nissan say 2 - 4 weeks for delivery out of Japan. Hoping closer to 2 weeks so you can all have yours before Christmas. My cruise control unit has been sent for the settings to be downloaded & uploaded into the new ones. I'll have them well before Nissan calls. The parts for the harness that connects the cruise module to the switches have also arrived & I'll be making them up in readiness. This is the list I have. Hi Everyone Everyone who expressed interest in a cruise control kit (that I have a record of) has a message in their inbox. If you want one, they will be $600-$615 delivered (waiting confirmation on price) for the cruise unit, pedal harness for our cars (M35 & V35), factory steering wheel switches (including volume controls, ie both sides of the wheel) & preprogrammed for PnP DIY install. No stalk will be sent out with the kit. Cheers, Leon.

Mmm, the fact that they state "Not for dirt racing applications" on their website indicates to me they get their higher flow rate by reducing filtration. Maybe that's what the dust boot is all about, IDK, but I wonder if you would lose all of the "40% less restriction" with it on. -
Longer arms? I've adjusted mine 'on the road' by lying down & reaching up. Maybe your ARX is higher & thus harder to reach. If so, remove the wheel....

Did you try St George Tyres for the invo's? They are listed on FleaBay now so hopefully have stock. Cheaper on their web site though, showing the 245/45/18's at $175 each (bargain!). Like the Dunlops Dale mentioned, they too can be rotated onto any corner which is great for wear. -
But it's only the seat. Not like it's the ashtray, or anything similarly important.

Sorry, don't remember about the gear selector as too many years ago. Even though the battery is very new, I'd get it checked/swapped simply to rule it out. -

Looks good to me mate. It may have run out of puff for chasing a higher number, but it would be my choice over a bigger (laggier) turbo any day. Probably faster everywhere bar a drag strip too , at least where I live - hardly a straight road other than the freeway around here. -

Not a lot of replies Ben. Looks like everyone took your last comment to heart, lol. If you buy a clean looking car (ignore km's as probably aren't accurate) you won't have too much trouble. Original turbo will eventually break, some sensors may randomly give you trouble (most common AFM & cam angle) but that's about it. If were me buying again, I'd keep my eye on the SAU classifieds and also http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/index.php . You're more likely to get a good price on a well maintained car. Good luck with your hunt Oh, I nearly forgot, the cam chain sprockets are failing all the time (see recent thread on here). Good news is almost all owners on m35stagea.info have already changed theirs....

Actually I don't believe it makes any difference. The bar moves inside the bushes as the wheels go up & down. If both wheels are hanging (on stands) or in normal position (on ramps) it will install OK. Would be difficult if one was up & one was down tho, lol. -

Really the best way to go is to arrange to be rear ended like Josh has done & have your car debadged when it is being repaired. When I did mine that way a few years back I was given the badges on a cool template to allow me to stick in exactly the right place should I ever get the urge to rebadge. BTW Josh, I'm no photographer but the potato you used to take that picture of your car needs its lens cleaned, or a steadier hand or something. -

What a saga. Somethings smells bad with this. You're right, for that money you could buy a wreck & strip for parts. If you know the part number/s, do a price check at http://www.amayama.com/. That will at least give you a starting point to determine if you are being touched up. Good luck with getting this sorted out. You must be a patient guy to be getting the runaround for 6 months. -

Google Translate can help in this regard. It can be tedious work depending what you need to know, but mostly the info is in pics or tables (with numbers) & doesn't take much effort to work out.

I'm an Audi guy & I wouldn't be surprised if my M35 outhandled a B7 RS4, especially if the road wasn't dead smooth. Audi's have notoriously firm suspension much more suited to the track. There is/was an interesting article years ago on AutoSpeed where JE (4WD Audi - not sure of model) followed his wife (Lexus or similar) down the mountain thru the twisties when they lived on Gold Coast hinterland. When they got to the bottom he gave her heaps about driving way too fast (he was sliding etc) & she was like "what?" He then drove the Lexus & realised the softer handling made for a faster car. I'd still rather have the Audi....
