  1. I'm not feeling the design on those rims - seems to lack some imagination.
  2. Congrats! That's better than a Stagea cruise any day.
  3. Alex, how did you find manually shifting? Was there much delay in getting the next gear? Mine seems much slower changing in manual mode compared to how hard/fast it slams thru in auto under wot.
  4. Great results guys. Especially you Alex. Very satisfying to get into the 13's first time out I bet. Good indication of what's to come with more traction.
  5. That assumes the depth of the folds & number of folds is the same - which they won't be.
  6. ^ +1. If <12 months old it should be under warranty.
  7. Nice. Would you say it is similar to the difference experienced when going from std to whiteline swaybars? I remember that transition making the car feel more nimble/less heavy. Some of the best mods are non power related
  8. What's the go? Is Dale making these up? Dale, if you are PM me with details mate
  9. And there's Dale again, taking a joke one step past it's logical end... lolz.
  10. Lol, I can't see squat in the grill - even zoomed in. I'll take your word for it. That grill doesn't look too bad actually, for an OEM one.
  11. That looks like a good deal they've put together. I got a full set from Japan over a year ago & other than the back seat mats clipping onto the centre hump mat via studs, they are pretty well the same as what you have. Of course by the time I paid the freight they were a lot more expensive than buying local. I should have anticipated this....
  12. Funny having cruise & not audio controls (or both) on the ARX. Does that automatically make it the laser type where you can't set it above ~100km/hr, regularly fail, often disconnect with oncoming vehicles & other quirky features?
  13. Good write up Alex. This information will be extremely helpful to other PNM owners considering the FI/Uprev path. As different as the ECUs are between PNM35 & NM35, there are an awful lot of similarities too.
  14. Sure, 13270AL612 – Passenger side cover gasket & 13270AQ800 – Driver side cover gasket. I only bought the passenger side & it was $28 but can't see why they would be different prices unless 'supply & demand' rules apply. I've heard they can be bought for as low as $25 - i wasn't going to quibble over 3 bucks.
  15. Is it very bad? I discovered a few drips on some bolts when I was changing the turbo & ordered a gasket. But now that I'm driving it again it doesn't look too bad so may put it off for a while.
  16. I decided the same thing. Only bought the CV boot so I could get it done in my timeframe rather than waiting for the mechanic to order it in. The good thing about you being in Brisvegas is your specialist with most likely have one on the shelf
  17. That's the same one as failed on mine. I used these aftermarket ones: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/220865687512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 You just need to specify the size you need at each end (~75mm & 27mm) & they'll send it to you within 1 or 2 days, at least it arrived that quick for me. The boot was a couple of mm bigger than it could have been but the stainless ties held it OK (so I was told by the mech who put it in for me).
  18. I think it will be a while before we see this ^. Seems to be too few M35 owners in & around SE Qld on SAU. We need a member recruitment drive, lol.
  19. Erm, for both reasons listed above, let's not pursue that option anymore, lol.
  20. I'm keen but for some reason Qld cruises have a tendency to die in the bum. In the few years I've had my Stag, I'm the only one who has made every Qld cruise, so I will probably go . Hey Darrin, how would a Sat cruise go, ending up at Willowbank Test'n'Tune? Just putting it up as an option.
  21. Sorry to say they are an example of one that isn't interested in helping out. It's a silly stand to for them make since all they do is put a part number into the computer, tell you how much it will be & then order it in if you agree on the price. I'm sure they make the same margins on the V35 specific parts as they would on the 350Z ones. Any others in nearby suburbs or towns?
  22. Nice! Does your car really run out to 6800 rpm or is there a slight calibration issue with that dyno & your car? And is your sig up to date? Is your 'tune' what the std ECU is giving you with the mods you have done, or do you have something else?
  23. NSW - White C34 (clean, low & body kitted etc) heading north on Pac Hwy near Macadamia Castle (Knockrow) this morning ~8:40. I was in the M35 that flashed its lights.
