  1. I'll tell you which car I would pick for the roads I drive on (Hint, it doesn't have the highmount single....) Nice runs mate.
  2. Give it a week & then name names, lol. No, seriously....
  3. OK then. What makes you think the turbo has failed; is it just the ticking noise or doesn't it make boost? Is it the standard turbo or a hi-flow?
  4. Where are you Glenn? It might pay to take it to someone who knows a lot about these cars (eg Jetwreck in Sydney, Scotty M35 in Melb) for some advice.
  5. I'm liking what's going on there a whole lot more. Very nice.
  6. What's the outside temp when this is happening?
  7. And different pivot points (leverage) means there's no comparing with other cars.
  8. 2nd last character is def an I (indigo), not 1, so makes me think the characters surrounding it are O's, not zeros, i.e. 3 number, 3 letter plate (but O's & 0's look very much the same). Mmm, I also think if we (I really mean me) spent less time pondering stuff like this, & instead put it to good use, we'd be much better off, lol.
  9. Not sure such a thing exists anymore, but you never know. Hey, I just found one with 20K at Edward Le... nevermind.
  10. rear sway bar link - ?oem. It's cheap, but not a lot of use to most of us And I didn't know they were "prone to breaking", lol. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/M35-NISSAN-STAGEA-REAR-SWAY-BAR-LINK-2001-2002-2003-01-02-03-/121168220965
  11. Dunno, but I noticed mine was a little richer when I put the stock pump on full 12V (at least when it wasn't buzzing).
  12. ^ OK, all good. Do you notice it running richer at all?
  13. Is that the stock pump you are running? If so, be careful putting it on full 12V power. I know others have & not had a problem, but that was how I popped my motor. The pump would intermittently make a noise (sort of a buzz) & I suspect when that was happening it wasn't pumping right. I found out by going wot & the rest is smoky, rattly history.
  14. I quite like that Chris, & Sonny's blue one a few posts up.
  15. ^ fair enough Micah. Pits is back on the list (not that I have a list). Maybe you'll have some good luck coming your way soon, if not keep persisting as it seems to be paying off.
  16. My blown VQ has ~140psi on all except the dropped cylinder (~100psi), but I don't think the actual figure is as important as the variation between cylinders as pressure gauges can read differently. Having said that, I don't know if seeing 110psi when 150psi is expected would be normal. How could they all be that low? Very low compression build...? Head gasket not torqued down...? (but then would overheat). I'm with you Ray - what's with Micah's tuner not trying to sort the BOV? After all the $ he's spent. P.I.T.S is off my list, lol.
  17. I've never done it & the exploded drawing (attached) doesn't give many clues, but hopefully somewhat helpful. When you work it out maybe you can post some tips ....
  18. Good onya Dave. Maybe not as fool proof as the reverse light method, but easier to wire up.
  19. Check out Nitto Invo as an option. Not sure about getting them in your front size, but rear is a common size & what I run all round..
  20. $325 for system reset sounds pretty steep.
  21. Nice result Nick, and cheap to fix Often it's the simplest things that are the problem - & that's a good thing.
  22. ^ a Stagea?
  23. Lost my contact due to a computer crash a while ago, but I'm getting somewhere finally. Should have more news after my new buyer emails back to confirm prices. Thanks for your patience.
  24. And thread back on track - nice
  25. Hey Dave, sounds perfect since you've already found that wire. Of course that will preclude you from launching with the door open for that fully sic Youtube video
