  1. So you already had a CEL before making this connection? There was some conjecture whether the duration of the 12V start signal would be long enough to cancel a CEL. However it was hoped that if there wasn't a CEL, the start signal might be enough to keep it at bay. Do you want to cancel it & see if it comes back in next few hundred kms?
  2. Manual says colour is SB ?? I may have time to check later, but pretty easy to locate it using the ECU pinout diagram. I use the pin positions with NO wires to orientate the drawing.
  3. What was the exact code? Faulty knock sensor could do it I suppose. If the ECU retards the timing heaps it will feel down on power. You didn't just get a bad tank of fuel (I once bought premium & got standard)?
  4. No international shipping.
  5. NP, will email you next issue. I tested this procedure on my own car (remember the dump truck rolled into me at road works) & my working boot mech continued to work afterwards, so I'm 90% sure my DIY is accurate. However I am looking for a few volunteers to try it, just to rule out any abnomalies.
  6. 1) Go out in wet weather. 2) Wait for dodgy driver to follow closely behind 3) Brake suddenly & get rear ended 4) Boot latch now works* * Individual results may vary.
  7. I foresee a bidding war, lol.
  8. Haha, thanks mate. I'll be a bit disappointed when this is done as I'll have nothing to to rib you about, lol.
  9. Or alternatively...... you could spend a few minutes making up another front chassis brace. Just sayin'
  10. Don't know much about the programming keys, but the dealer optioned alarm will be tied into the key remote to arm/disarm at same time as lock/unlock.
  11. Yeah, I need to get that back for you. Leave it with me... Apparently the wreck wasn't just missing the fuel pump, but also the pump harness/connector, so not simple PnP. I think that's about where progress stalled & now no response
  12. How much for the VQ25 & where from? I'm still waiting for my replacement but it's gone quiet on that front.
  13. Catching up on some reading Jase? Good to see
  14. That's where mine is. Got a picture for us?
  15. ^ you're right; by the time you attempt that you might as well take the bolt out, insert the washer & do it up. BTW, is my braided oil line going in?
  16. Now I sorta wish I had bigger rims to fit over those brakes. Seems like a great deal for some lucky person.
  17. Might go the way of the last Qld Stagea cruise
  18. If this last bit ^ is referring the front chassis brace, I was joking seeeing as you make them, not (some sweat shop working for) Whiteline, lol. I hope mine is made before you run out of material or I'll be sad
  19. That's bad news for new owners. Is the rumour I heard about the front chassis braces being discontinued also true?
  20. Lol, my silver will paint over your pink, so bring it on
  21. Hey Dale, is this still on the cards?
