  1. I was pretty happy (and more than a bit surprised) when they told me and then when I saw the graph. I was hoping for about 180awkw, so to get 200 was awesome. I'm assuming they ran it in 2wd, to be honest I forgot to ask
  2. I got a Pioneer DEH-P8100BT a few weeks back. It's a 2009 model, but you might be able to pick one up on eBay second hand. It's got 2 rear usb inputs, as well as bluetooth and 3 rca pre-outs, so it's a pretty nice little unit
  3. Turbo is stock, but it seems to be handling it ok. Only running 10psi.
  4. Hi guys Picked my 99 RS4S up a couple of weeks ago and put it in to GT Garage in Hobart Thursdy to get some mods done. NGK .8 spark plugs, new oil filter and Motul turbolight oil were already freshly in, and the car came with a HKS pod filter. The mods I got were a full turbo back exhaust, with a HKS Hi-Power cat back, a Walbro fuel pump, Turbotech boost controller and a Nistune. When they put it on the dyno it put out 200kw. Stoked! Dyno sheet below. Tim
  5. Saw a red M35 driving through Launceston this afternoon with Victorian plates. First M35 I've see in Tassie
  6. I have just picked up my stag and am looking at getting a Nistune installed in the next few weeks. From the discussions I have had and things I have read I get the impression it is definitely worth doing the front pipe and having a high flow cat to make the most of the exhaust. I think JustJap do front pipes for stageas which are supposed to be good. My tuner has also recommended doing the fuel pump, so I will be getting the bosch 040 as well.
  7. I had my stagea done at Pride Auto on Monday, and they were pretty good. They were going to fail me because the back windows were too dark and because one of the rear seatbelt buckles was lost beneath the back seat, but when I told them the rear windows were factory tinted and asked them to take the back seat off and get the buckle out (it couldn't just be pulled out), they let the windows go, did the extra work to fix recover the seatbelt buckle and then passed it, no extra charge. I would happily recommend them, Shane was the guy I dealt with.
  8. How much for the rims with the tyres? If only the factory look you were after was the RS4S 17x7s, then I could have done a swap (with cash adjustment) lol
  9. I'd been looking at BC, but am not sure how much budget I'll have left after putting a Nismo chip in it, plus exhaust, but I'll see how I go. I was just so tempted when I saw the HKS ones so cheap!
  10. Cool. I had wondered about the extra weight, and a seller wanting to make a sale, which was why I thought I'd ask on here. Thanks for the help!
  11. i am looking at the hks hiper damper kits. The seller has told me that the R32 one won't fit, but that the R34 one will. They are second hand on eBay but they look in pretty good nick, say they have no leaks and the seller has a good rep. Is the seller right about the R34 ones being suitable for my stag?
  12. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if a suspension kit for a R32 GT-R Syline will fit a 1999 RS4S Stag?
  13. Hmmm, that's interesting in itself, I always assumed they were factory options. I'll do some searching. Thanks!
  14. Cool, much appreciated. Very interesting given I know it at least has the Dayz carbon dash inserts and seems to have a few other bits and pieces.
  15. WGNC34133285 Thanks again
  16. Cool, thanks for that, I guess I should have done mroe searching, didn't realise there was a FAST thread.
  17. Hi Just wondering if someone who has FAST would be happy for me to PM them with my VIN so they can run it through for me? I'd like to know what my car left the factory with. Thanks in advance. Tim
  18. lol, thanks but no. Having a manual was high on my priority list!
  19. Unfortunately it doesn;t come with books, but Kristian was pretty confident that the kms were legit and that it was in good nick. I'll be doing the service pretty quickly once I get my hands on it, before I do any mods. It will be getting a full exhaust, hopefully at the same time as the Nistune.
  20. On the 4th Feb I pick up my new 1999 RS4S stagea, which I imported through Kristian at Iron Chef, from the compliancer. It's only got 67,000ks and looks pretty clean. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm thinking Nistune, fuel pump and possibly exhaust will be done pretty quickly once I get it. And of course a stereo, I don't have many tapes lying around to play.
  21. Awsome, thanks for that. I might go back to the search I think, just need to find something with the right offset in the style i like.
  22. Cool, thanks, I'll go have a look
  23. I was only planning on getting 18s I've seen a few guys in one of the stagea wheel threads with 19s which looked really good without having ridiculously thin tyres, so that's when I started thinking 19s. Might go back to looking at 18s. I love the look of these rims, they were pretty much exactly what I was looking for, but they only come in set offsets so it doesn't look like they'll work. Any other suggestions are appreciated!
  24. Mine is the awd RS4S that has the 17x7s standard with +30 offset, so if I'm going to go for a wider wheel eg 8, 8.5 or 9, I should be looking for something with the same offset or lower?
  25. i had wondered if it would be too high. The guys selling the wheels said it would fit (via email, not looking at the car), but I thought I would ask here as I thought people would know more!
