<br /><br /><br />Update - just spoke to Service Tas and the guy I spoke to did not think the bonnet would be approved because of the potential impact on crumple zones and the car's safety system, but that the Varex muffler should be ok as long as it complied with volume limits. Any thoughts/experience that anyone else has about cf bonnets or the volume of Varex mufflers would be still be appreciated!

<br /><br /><br />The car looks to have a 2.5 or 3 inch exhaust system on it (just waiting on exact details), but I'm thinking about fitting one of those Varex mufflers with the valve that you can open or close to make it loud or quiet, and I'm not sure how legal they are

Hi I'm in the process of importing a 1999 RS4S through Iron Chef and have a couple of questions about some parts I have been thinking about adding but I'm not sure if they are street legal here in Tassie or not, so I'm hoping someone might be able to help out. Can anyone tell me if a carbon fibre bonnet is legal? Or a Varex exhaust? Thanks Tim

Hi I'm looking at purchsing a C34 stagea over the next few months, and have to say this forum has been fantastic for gathering info about them! I'm flying to Sydney in early October to have a look at a few (not too many to browse in Tassie). Any recommendations of dealers to check out? I've already spoken to North Shore Prestige and am looking to go to Nagoya Motors as well. Can anyone suggest any other dealers to try and visit? Hi all I'm looking at purchasing a stagea over the next few months, but as this is my first foray into imported cars, just wondering if anyone can answer some questions for me. 1) How reliable are the km readings on the cars? I've seen a few cars listed online at dealers with 40,000 or 60,000ks on the clock for 98 or 2000 model cars. Is this realistic? 2) Are there any major issues with the stageas that I need to be aware of or things to look out for? 3) Are there any dealers (particularly in Melbourne or Sydney) who are really good or who should be avoided? I've seen Nagoya Motors have quite a few stageas listed, are they any good? 4) Are there any dramas getting them registered in Aus, particularly Tassie? Thanks heaps for your help! Tim
