  1. I rode out once, but wasn't the bike regular.... I was 3.2.1.go-ing / timing most of the time Once I get round to driving one day, i'll be knocking down plenty I think.
  2. will try to remember to bring bike for that....
  3. Only if they not ADR approved. You can get ADR ones. It's still rubber under the braided SS. There has been quite a few cases of the braided line popping/ leaking. I wouldn't bother. Transgo ftw.
  4. Ten sport and streaming works well - Its just you get all the downsides as well...
  5. Nup. Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber has been cleared by the stewards after it was alleged he impeded Timo Glock during the opening qualifying session for Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix, although he still picked up a reprimand for a separate incident. The Aussie was exiting the pits in Q1 when it was deemed he might have held up Glock, something that could have landed the Aussie with a five-place grid penalty. However, after considering the matter, the stewards ruled that there was no case to answer. The statement from the stewards read: “On the lap of the alleged impeding Timo Glock braked at T1 earlier than his previous best lap in that session. By the apex he was 0.105 seconds slower. At the apex of T3 where the alleged impeding occurred (where Webber was in front of Glock) Glock was 0.090 seconds slower than his previous best. Glock overtook Webber at the exit to T3 on the racing line, braking into T5 earlier than his previous best lap and was now 0.198 seconds slower. At the end of Sector 1 (i.e. after T6) Glock's delta time over his previous best was 0.380 seconds slower. Accordingly from the telemetry it is concluded there was no time lost whilst behind Webber - the time loss was before and after the alleged impeding. Therefore no impeding occurred.” The stewards also added that 'Webber had no vision of Glock on exiting the pit lane', and 'a review of the GPS system showed Red Bull Racing did not have information that would have enabled them to warn Webber of Glock's approach'. Meanwhile, Webber did get a reprimand, however, for twice leaving the track on his in-lap at the end of Q3 - a breach of Article 20.2 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. “The driver could offer no justifiable reason for deliberately leaving the track,” the stewards added. » 4 comment(s) on this Story » Post your comments on this Story http://www.crash.net/f1/news/184281/1/webber_escapes_grid_penalty_handed_reprimand.html

  7. This post is useless with pics! Show us Joseph!
  8. What? Why you need to know percentage just to get slotted rotors? If changing calipers, sure, you might want to work it out, but what are you up to? Go measure the size of the front and rear pistons, and work it out if its that important.

  12. +1 for everything Jetwreck said! Well done mate! Just see if you can lower that D/S bonnet rubber mount at the front a little bit to make that panel fit nice along the top of the headlight. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/409637-wrecking-series-1-nm35-stagea-or-may-sell-complete/ *Cough* Drivetrain conversion...*cough*
  13. You can do that, however the pad will take whatever shape is on the rotor face the first time you drive it. That means if your rotors are really chewed up, then you will affect your pads and they will take on that shape. Its better to do it all at once, however, its not critical. Tell him to put back every shim that he takes out of them- you don't want squeal. ohh, and pics of pads when they come out.
  14. +1 at the moment

  19. Concidering the new price is around $1600-$1700, add a harness that is now discontinued, for $500-$600. You can see the price being reasonable. I think HKS is in a different league to emanage....
  20. Hahahaha... Do we know I'f the V35 half leathers bolt straight in? I wouldn't mind a nice black pair of front seats, as long as they are manual, not electric.
  21. Yes- V35 Brembo = 350z Track. Pad AND Disc. If your having a hard time of it mate, just take it to a mechanic. Don't order shit off ebay. Who knows what you'll end up with. Order parts from a decent shop- as I said GSL rallysport are a contributor/supporter to this Forum. Their stuff arrives next day in most cases, their prices are decent, and they will be able to guide you to a product that suits your needs (track/street/fast road etc)
  22. Well, thats down to how damaged they are, and what thickness they run. Rotors have a minimum thickness for safety. You need to suss it out. Best practice is to have the rotors skimmed each time you put new pads in, if they are of sufficient thickness. This allows the new pad to bed in properly with new rotor material, and removes any left over pad material stuck on the surface.
  23. Brake pads. Buy new ones and put them in. If they are Gold coloured callipers with brembo written on them, then its the same as a 350Z Track. If they are silver metallic with no paint, then they are the same as 350Z Touring model. GSL Rallysport is a fourm sponsor, and provides good products- ask them for a product that suits how you drive the car.
