  1. the body kit is for a RS/RX car, but Jetwreck will be modifying it to suit a ARX the only thing that doesnt match up is the flares (or for Craig, rub guards).
  2. farkin lol. Ummm, I know Leons was up over 5 (5.02), as was Craigs(5.12) -both of them have intakes. Rudis was up there too(4.83), but didn't have an intake. Another car with a highflow went 4.88v with no intake I suspect 5.12 is the limit - I saw it maxed from 5800-6800rpm on Craigs on the nismo ECU. Obviously each sensor will have a discrepancy. I also think that each progression of the ECUs have different cut off points. Now I'm lucky to see much over 4v... but thats with the upgraded MAF tuned in.
  3. I've seen your cars get up to 5.12v or maybe a bit higher Can't remember whos it was, but I was logging it. We all know I pull hard, Dale....
  4. Work Emotion 11R in Glim silver Very tasty...
  5. Nice Theo. Glad you find it nice and smooth to drive. You'll have some fun at the drags I think. A programmable boost controller will take care of that drop off. Does the ECU have that function? Are you still running off the AFM sensor? What Volts did you get up to? Did you get a chance to over lay with my 3rd gear pull?
  6. Both people you have talked to are misinformed or idiots. Muffler shop first- It will not throw a CEL due to the dump pipe. The sensor in the dump pipe in the NM35 is a Narrowband O2 sensor that allows the ECU to add or trim/add fuel on light throttle applications. Changing the dump to a more efficient unit does not change the effectiveness of this sensor, however you will have to remove it from the factory unit, and replace it in (Scottys) after market dump pipe. Mechanic - while being correct about it not throwing CELS, he is incorrect, as compliance shops do NOT change the dump pipe during the compliance process. They change the catalytic converters to more efficient, newer (and probably more restrictive) units. They may add extra cats too. To my knowledge the NM35 does not have catalytic effectiveness sensors like the V/PM35/z33
  7. Enjoy the powers of the 1.8 Aaron.... Middle aged Asian Gents will be all over you.
  8. get a shifter, and bend the little lip out of the way and fit the bar. job done
  9. I'm going to paint mine pick because I want STI wait, wat? actually, I hope its still attached to the car after leaving the mrs with it for 6 weeks....
  10. Great Rudi. Been OS working for a while mate. OT - will hope to get my car back down the strip sometime when I'm in Aus. And I have some more Cam advance
  11. You need to search this section - there are plenty of threads on it - also look at my350z, and g35driver. however they have much inflated hp figures because they are USA USA USA
  12. Depends on ARX vs RS/RX IMO.... ARX having a bit more boost. I don't know if there is a single stock time that people would replicate but something in the high 14's would be the best bet.
  13. what is your power goal? Uprev for the ECU will work as long as you keep the AFM, even if upgraded AFM and will be most probably the cheapest/easiest solution. Are you doing work yourself or handing it over to a workshop? Budget? Location?
  14. Sounds like a sensor has gone over 5 volts at some stage- just reset and see if it comes back before trying to find out what sensor google copy paste OBD Code P0651refers to These 5-volt reference circuits are independent of each other outside the PCM, but are bussed together inside the Engine Control Module (ECM). Therefore a circuit condition on one sensor 5-volt reference circuit may affect the other sensor 5-volt reference circuits. The ECM monitors the voltage on the 5-volt reference circuit. Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0651 - Shorted sensor - Shorted sensor circuit - Failed ECM The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The ECM has detected an out of voltage range on the 5 volt reference circuit 2
  15. made me lolz - VQ25DD...... Seriously though - if you want left alone / sleeper, M35 Stagea. one shocked BMW 135i coupe driver
  16. ok- question. Does he know that the unit is not working? Has your mechanic checked and logged the Cam advance degrees while driving the car?
  17. The guys at cyber Evo must be shattered. After coming all that way (and supposedly bringing the car out of retirement), really not posting a time, and having the issues that they did. Find it hard to believe that the motor needed to be swapped out early friday morning. Thought it would have had its health checked and double checked prior to the event. Or did something lunch itself in practice? Sounds like the crew were having a shocker. Nemo certainly is impressive. Whats the estimated Hp of the car? Find it hard to believe it has 900hp and still doesn't have all that much straight line speed. If it has the powers, then the drag must be astronomical. Does anyone know what the plans are for it? Contest internationally? Did the grp A GTRs actually post times, or just circulate? lastly - moar pics!
  18. Want to know how to use it? I'll PM you.
  19. They are Factory PM 17's.
  20. you still have a VQ25DD motor. IMO i'd rather spend money on making it faster/handle than the change of the front looks. But thats just my opinion.
  21. its the factory option remote start. It needs a little mobile phone looking device that has a screen on it, and a couple of buttons, that you should have had with your keys. no remote, no remote start. most likely switched off, and taken away for compliance.
  22. annnnnddddd one that isn't pink... Good choice mate! Have you driven one yet?
  23. 2 strikes on the door! check your compressor wheel for evidence of my over-run fuel smoke! Maybe thats what killed it! If so, Iains is bound to die shortly, but under warranty
  24. I'll put marks down my door for "kills" Theo is up next I predict....
