  1. http://www.jdmconcep...-370z-z34-09-10 suit coupe. You have sedan? by saying +30 or greater, what do you mean? You want a +40 or a +15? You know a +15 will stick out further than a +30?
  2. lol. you know thats a bit hard atm. you know, being in a different hemisphere.... Just cut and shaped a bit of black plastic to the size of the vent, cut a hole in the middle for my gauge, ran some coarse sand paper over it to rough it up (textured), and re-sprayed it black. Was a quick solution, but has worked fine. Leon- I did buy a car with a weed stash once.... not really interested in that kind of thing. But, 10 pts for the creative interpretation! Dale- I love it when you talk dirty to me. Purge, oxidised, argon.... makes me feel more manly saying stuff like that! Good to hear its back on the road. What boost? I take it same actuator? so 15/16 psi? The response sounds quite nice, and the best you could get to stock by the sounds of it.
  3. Are you an uprev pro dealer? And please explain why uprev cannot go over 375whp. or did you copy and paste this from My350z?
  4. +1 to Leon, mine is in there ( using.. shock/horror, a bit of garden pot ) Its the only non factory thing inside my car- the way I like it. Uncluttered.
  5. Easier to get off cold than hot (which sucks because you need to warm the oil to change...) second thing - hammer a old screwdriver though the really difficult ones and use that as leverage to turn it. Not pretty or clean, but it works.
  6. walked literally 2 mins to breakfast this morning in Singapore. In that time- Grey F430 Red F458 White Murcielago SV
  7. lol. It's never DONE! there is always something else...
  8. well depends when, and how far I guess. Try to find a operator in the area where your towing too. Also ask for a "off peak rate" and be flexible with your times - will end up cheaper.
  9. Oh, I'm in Singapore, so Supercars x 11ty. Every homo guns it from lights to lights...
  10. Sorry, but this is all I have to say about modern supercars.... incl Aventadork, and most of the others... http://youtu.be/cGox_g9THRU
  11. If he cant afford pistons, at least wouldn't you give the rings a freshen up, RB26 gurus?
  12. I remember writing this....
  13. I don't think your lifter additive will do anything. Reason being, and more knowledgeable people will correct me if I'm wrong, but lifter treatment is traditionally for motors with hydraulic lifters that suffer build up of contaminants. The RB26 having solid lifters cannot suffer the same problem. The lifters can need re-shimming if out of spec, the hydraulic ones are self clearenced. Does it rise and lower with Revs, or road speed? Could be a number of bad things unfortunately.... hope its something more simple
  14. Here is an insight. You need to take it to a mechanic. Get it fixed, and pay the man. I could tell you about scan tools CAS and cam sensors, AFMs, Coilpacks etc, but since you think your car has cambelts, I don't think there is much point.... Hope it works out ok.
  15. I want to know when Matt stood on my bonnet to take picture 14.... And Iain, I can see in the pic14 where you had to wipe away some sneaky remarks from your rear window!
  16. Thats the drivers side. Maybe because there is more pressure in bank two due to the return flow regulator being on that side (I think it is)? Thats my 2c!
  17. Stop it! You'll make me feel bad for shagging out Dales turbo having him chase me round the corners. Would have loved to have been there once you took the engine cover off those 7 cars! Unfortunately there are many traps for prospective import buyers to fall into.
  18. I think I had the same thing Dale, when I did mine. I had the discs (crossdrilled) machined before going on the car. Once installed took them for the Test and found the same- Fluid on the wheels! I took the wheels off again, double checked the torque of the brake lines- both OK, cleaned and re-assembled. Been perfect since! Now you said this it has clicked!
  19. I have one too in my car. The plug won't connect to apple products. Can only imagine its some kind of mobile device connection. A Macro photo of the text and a translation may shed more light
  20. The 100k is generally a term for cars with CamBELTS (not chains). It was always the old interval to change them. In recent years on newer cars, some manufacturers will go to 150k kms on a cam belt or X years. Since you don't have a cam belt to change there is really nothing out of the ordinary about a 100k kms service. When servicing, its a combination of - Engine oil and filter Air filter Brake fluid / bleed gearbox/transmission oil/ fluid Differential fluid Engine coolant Brake pads and discs as required interior / cabin air filter Ancillary belts as required Spark plugs are 100k km items in tank Fuel filter anything else I forgot If you don't know when last done or have no record then its a good idea to change and record it.
  21. what are you expecting to change at the 100k kms service?
  22. When I received a motordyne a couple of months ago - it already had the gasket placed on both sides of the spacer- you still have to use the original because it seals off the PCV chamber as well.
  23. Is not possible with your car. Its only applicable to Series two cars with electromagnetic ATTESA. NM35s have the fluid / pump system. Only option to go RWD is to remove the front drive shaft from transfer case to front diff.
