  1. My question would be if cars with minimal mods are doing 6 second flat (or under) 0-100km/h, then why are the 1/4 mile times not displaying that. If your doing a 0-100 in 5.9, then I would have thought the quarter would be a lot faster than 14.6 Example- humor me. 03-06 350z. Accepted to do a high 5.# second 0-100. Does a quarter in around 13.6 to 13.9. Stock. Anyway, just my opinion. They might be going faster than I thought. See what "the stag wagon" comes back with!?
  2. Sorry, should have been more clear. I don't doubt that is what you read off the display, you have nothing to gain by fibbing about it! I doubt that the gadget is accurate. Out of all the nm35s I've been in, not many feel like 5 second bracket cars. With only a filter and spacer, I just don't see it happening especially with the brake restriction still there.
  3. Sorry mate, but I find that hard to believe with only a spacer and filter.
  4. Pocketdyno Good on ya! You have to set up some details of the car.
  5. Oh, it's that video ...... Again Better add something constructive. Has anyone with a nm35 used that little iPhone app? I have no idea if accurate, but I think my 7.4 was plausible when non turbo. It's free just grab it warm the car up and go do it! Post result.
  6. Glass has uv protection in it already. Doesn't need tint to have uv glass.
  7. I measured my PNM35 at 7.4 seconds when it was non turbo, according to a little iPad app, however accurate they are.
  8. Jealousy of what...? You like it do you? Its all yours! I like the black one. Needs a good clean but.
  9. The Sydney one turned up to a jdmst meet very recently, so guess it was the melb one sold.
  10. DO NOT WANT http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/NISSAN/STAGEA/700050134520110822001/index.html This guy is doing it right. http://exchange.goo-...4001/index.html
  11. No worries mate! All welcome. It's not a long cruise, but a bit catch up for people to meet and have a chat. We can always go further after dinner!
  12. wonder if its the midnight purple one that appeared for sale on some site a little while ago?
  13. Should read identical unless there is some funky in plenum sensor or something. Haven't got it in Fahrenheit have you? Just thought I'd ask! Ill stick it on Craig's car sometime, and get a reading.
  14. The machine clamps on the inside of the rim to get the tyre on or off. Guess they weren't careful. Sorry to hear, a least you have come to some sort of arrangement.
  15. Ummm... shouldn't be that wrong. I have mine after the turbo, after the I/C and smack bank in the engine bay (I'm sure you've seen where) and on cruise it only ever reads a few degrees above ambient. Yours being smack bang at the front sucking what I thought would be cold air, I figure would be pretty close to ambient. Maybe get a pod filter like me....
  16. Lol. That was a even handed fair debate.
  17. I *heart* the old Nismo angular logo. I have a serious crush on white LM GT1 wheels.
  18. Leon, does the ECU read speed the same as the speedo or GPS? Ie, get the laptop out, cipher cable on, and monitor the speed that the ECU reads. I only ask because when tuning, we noticed a difference in the tach- the ECU would read considerably lower revs that the tacho needle.
  19. Thats something not many of us are able to try out! I think its a 50/50 split, and the other thing I notice is that the Throttle map is heavily reduced, giving you that sluggish feeling. I guess gearbox pressures are reduced too. I only use it to get the car up onto ramps easily!
  20. I'm monitoring my fuel consumption following the road tune. It seems quite reasonalble concidering the changes I have made. Its hard to measure properly, because the Mrs trips are not long, but I'll have a crack. Staqg250 - your Rank is based upon your post count. You start as a RB20e then progress ir RB20de, det, RB25de, det etc etc up to RB26dett with something like 10,000 posts. A few of us smart cookies just changed it to something more suitable for M35 owners....
  21. It's a replacement part at 100k km I've heard. Your car might well have more than what's on the clock. Biggest killer is lack of oil, due to blocked oil restriction banjo. Scotty will sort you out, your in good hands
  22. On iPad, cbf. Search Hks and m35.
  23. There is a used v35 m35 sc kit on yahoo ATM. Hks one. Would be nice, very nice. Has different pipe route to the 350z one, that works with our cars.
  24. waits for OP to say he's in Perth....
