Lol... find a new mechanic. Where do you live? There are people in melb and Sydney who will quite happily help you out, and combined I would have to say have removed and/or refitted/ replaced upwards of 15 turbos, at a guess. Its not an engine out. Hypergear along with some other companies can rebuild the turbo.

Good to hear. needs moar turbo. -
Ok, guess it just doesn't work then. 2nd button doesn't open anything. Has no effect.

Hey Spong, Quick question. Does it work without the DVD nav cd being in the reader? I tried the process quickly, but couldn't get anything to work from the 2nd button on the top row. I don't have the DVD as unfortunately it wasn't with the car when I got it. My car has a "carwings" menu, so I guess it is one of the ones that works.

Patty, The inside of those things makes you feel like your sitting in one of the OLD McDonald's restaurants. You know, with all the hard plastic everywhere, cheap materials. Please reconsider this obsession with Yank trucks. I had a brief twirl in a Ram V10, and still that engine didn't make it good- sounded like a vacuum. Stick with a Tundra.

Springs in my Stagea are great. The rates are very nice and compliant for daily duties. I think the suspension dept is sorted. Catback Exhaust my avatar is good, very quiet, but retains a nice note with nil drone. Great for daily too, however I believe it's a bit of a restriction in the rear can. Quality also great.

FYP Mate. Blue... suppose it matches the calipers now Oh, didn't see that you pulled all the shiny stuff out too. Going to put Leb mesh in? -
Well, today I got the front shaft back in, just in time for it to be raining in Sydney for a few days which is nice. Also had an impromptu Castor bush fitting session, after Jetwreck decided they were flogged out and I needed new ones! Has made the car a fair be more pointy in the front end, and decreased some of my NVH. Ah, and had a look down a fujitsubo compared to my Nismo exhaust today while they were next to each other- very different in the rear can. The Nismo has a single pipe through the rear can, that ends in a 2.5 inch or so single outlet that leads to the twin tips. The Fujitsubo on the other had splits into two sections almost immediately in the rear can, and continues through to the tips. So there you go.

Well, I fired off a updated one to Goldzilla the mod, who hopefully will update. Please once you see the updated one, if you believe you have a spot in there or I have missed you out, please post up. Its the only way I can keep it updated. Especially if you have C34 powers above whats listed, or Drag times would be great. If you don't make it into the Top 5 for the section, feel free to post up results here, but the list will obviously not be updated. Cheers. -

Might have got mixed up in the refresh. I'll go through it all tonight, and put an update together for the mods. Thanks. -
Don't know about nm35, but pm35s dim the dash automatically, there is an sensor somewhere. It is separate to the auto lights too, because sometimes my lights decide to be on, but the dash is still bright, then Dims later. Ah the joys.

I think thats what I was thinking of Dale, maybe used on the murano too. Don't know about the Camera mate, mine is a factory one.
-
I think you may be able to use a certain model Muarno brakes that are bigger in diam. but are still single piston. Have a search, but you'll pay more for those I guess than a decent upgrade.

Hi Mate and Welcome to another series 2 car! Please dont say how much you bought it for... you kiwis get it good over there with import prices! The TV can work, you just need a new digital tuner and install. The Language is a no go unfortunatly. Series 1 to 2 changed the setup, and they dont have the conversion for S2 yet. Have been waiting since I bought it, so don't hold your breath. Brakes - most anything from R32 through R34, V35/350z 370z will fit with a little / varying degrees of mods. Big problem here is that your stock ARX wheels probably wont fit over the brakes. If you want to stay nissan, go for 18x8+30 rims from a V35 or 350z TRACK wheels, otherwise aftermarket- go nuts. Lots of info in here- search function is good, however there are a few things changed on the S2 cars so dont be afraid to ask!

Thank you Duncan! -
Thought of rain stopped them talking about tyres for about 3 laps. Been happy hunting ground for Chin, hasn't it?
-
This is true. But I would be very suprised if it had aftermarket dump and front pipe. Catback is normal. And radio expander, but the aftermarket system might Already have that.
-
Ok, well, it's probably not going to run great just having arrived. Don't worry to much about the exhaust smell. Would most likely go away with a bit of use. O2 sensor isn't complicated, but a pain to get at I believe. What you need to figure out is what they are going to do at compliance. There is a long list of things. Ask them what they are going to do, and why they are not going to do other things. Example, it shouldn't be complied with that exhaust, and tyres. It's illegal. Plain as that. If they don't change that, will they even bother to service it? There is a lot of advice we could give here. Do all your normal checks. Oil, trans fluid should be nice and red, should shift smoothly, check everywhere for rust. If its on the strut towers it's not a good thing. Look for underbody sealant. Turbos have a distinct sound, go drive as many as possible. Drive 3 they will all have different sounds. Suspension knocks, check for body damage, non std bolts and fittings for repairs. Driveshafts etc. Steering lock to lock. Rumbles frm wheel bearings. Let them comply it, then you can drive it with a trader plate. Go look at some other cars for the experience.

Nismo stuff is good. Does it have twin square tips or one round tip? Square is better than round. No such thing as a full system as I understand, only catback. You want to get dump pipe and front pipe sorted if buying. Might not have a cat in it, but should have one for compliance. Could run rich because it's o2sensor is farked. Hole is from removal of the factory nav and or etc system. Close the top and forget about it. Tyre size is right for factory wheels, don't be ghey, get some jap aftermarket. Snow tyres? Sounds like your importer and or compliance place is dodgy as Fark. Shouldn't have jap tyres at all, let alone snow tyres. Might be a snow car, might have just had em slapped on. If snow car, will have some level of rust Yes, covered for 3months Nfi about the sound, but generally not translate able. Replace it. Sounds very cheap.be very careful.

Sorry mate, I don't. I just use "epc data", and a few other things. search on google for it. I think Scott might have something? I use the FSM for G35s in teh states as it relates better for my car. Can be seen on NICO I think.
