  1. Well, yeah, I can actually- but I just don't need 22psi to see some horsepower.... Both of them absolutely nowhere near us!
  2. Oh, and found out I have the dreaded cylinder 6 oil leak! Oh well, doesn't stop anything running- sure put out a smoke screen last night! I have got the idle running stoic at normal temperature. Still runs like a bag of shit though. At least I know it won't foul the plugs on the way to the tuner. Took it for a quick spin to make sure its drivable so its all good. Question- what do I give it a tank full of now? I was thinking BP Ultimate, what do you guys think?
  3. 21 to 26 degrees. Cloudy, rain periods with heavy falls possible. Sounds like high humidity, Currenty it's 1014.1and rising. The runner spacer volume is tiny compared to the spacer that 35s run. I'd take a punt volume wise, that it's be 10 times the volume. Remember, when you snap the throttle shut, the motor has to eat all the extra air in the plenum before it starts making vacuum. It's not a massive thing, but I just don't see the point on a fi motor. The tendency is to make smaller plenums. Yeah, I'd love a cosworth, they are no good for na motors.
  4. Very nice pick up mate- looks like you scored one with lots of fruit! I'd get some higher profile tyres when the old ones run out- fill those massive guards out a bit Heaps of good info one here- do a search if you have issues and you'll learn heaps!
  5. Spacer = more room to fill = more lag and less throttle response. Trawled the net to find benefits for FI 350z/G35s with the spacers- but could find anything. No doubt beneficial for NA cars- but when air is pressurised, I think the effect would be less pronounced- prove me wrong, I'd love some real info. Hey Nick- yeah, be good to see you! Drop in if you have time
  6. Tonight, Jetwreck and I dropped in the Injectors, changed the plugs, and fuel pump. Tune will be on Thursday. In the process I cleaned up the inlet tract- a bit of oil in there, not too much, and some ugly looking black stuff behind the throttle. What we thought is that we should have a bit of a guessing game as to the power that it'll kick out. To give you the low down- Its a 3.5 litre V6, 10.3:1 compression, 600cc Injectors, HKS GT3037 pushing 0.35BAR or 5PSI, full 3 inch exhaust with HKS Cat. Automatic box. Car will be tuned in RWD. Jetwreck guessed 223rwkw (right?) My guess is 235rwkw Post em up- see whos closest! On with the Pics- Down zee hole- for anyone who hasn't see one...
  7. Hi Eric Does look like that! Black and stripes is Jetwreck on here, the silver one sounds like mine, and don't know about the white one
  8. And search the US G35 sites too- track megan coilovers volk sf winnings 9.5 +17 hankook v4 225/35/19 10.5 +19 v4 235/35/19
  9. Do a search through the M35 stagea section- I believe that sedans and M35s are about the same offset from factory/wheel arch measurements. I'm running 8.5 +22 with nil issues- have seen 9.5 +20 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/392727-avant-garde-m310-wheels-and-kumho-tyres/ You don't have to run square like we do, because of AWD. So you could go staggered. You can go as crazy as you want- just have to get appropriate levels of low, and camber to suit. All depends on how low the car is.
  10. Hope everything is going smoothly
  11. Hi Mate, Dale is right about the plus and minus, but he is thinking Series 1. Ours is different. I've had a look at ours (and changed my direction of shift) and our marks could be easily modified. They are little clear plastic bubbles embedded in the outer surround. On the bottom there is red and black paint- so, just scratch and colour them in to your liking. I have left mine along, because I know how it works, and the Mrs doesn't use the tiptronic. If you pull it up, just make sure you go from the OUTSIDE- don't pull out the little gate around the shifter- get in below the bigger silver bit. the gate is screwed into that bigger bit.
  12. That my old one is it? Good to see its back in NSW!
  13. I changed mine cause I always shifted the wrong way, because I'm so use to driving the 997 GT3 Cup car....
  14. And you could do a manual conversion for about 4 or 5k I reckon. Which would for all purposes make it a 350S. If only they had a Manual AWD option!
  15. I don't have any experience with this, but it did jog my memory to this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/389927-how-much-rubbish-should-be-in-first-oil-filter/page__hl__metal+oil+filter
  16. Thats to the US mate. Estimates I've seen here is low 30s to mid 40s + 50k to 60k as I understand to get compliance for a model. Thats a lot of manual conversions....buy a series 2- Get a V35 pedal box and gearbox, job done. Suppose you know what grill you bought now...
  17. I do love the seats- but I prefer the new dash, and centre console. Does sort of look like a halfway mark to the newer model.
  18. They are easily double the money of any NM35, and you can't comply them. So unless you put up the money to go through all the compliance work- its not going to happen. I wouldn't want to go to that interior anyway. Wish they made it off the series 2. Brochure- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/293993-m35-stagea-sales-brochures-books/page__view__findpost__p__5974798 Scotty- Aren't they the same as any V35 series one manual? how does the length of the box match up between a V35 manual, and a R33 or R34 GTR box? You might buy it only to find out it doesn't fit!
  19. Cool! Can't wait to see this!
  20. Spotted a Gold ARX on the M2 bout 1130 today. Lowered, with Brembos- Think it was Eugene/JDM perf?
  21. http://www.ebay.com....c#ht_875wt_1185 Have no idea if its a re-post, but I likey anyway. FAARRRRKKK- just noticed it bloody has rub guards- wonder if they do a RX version?
  22. Look for anything for a V35 skyline, or a 350z Both will fit- however you'll have to check with the output shafts. The std VLSD shafts have and extra spline on one shaft, which as a open diff you don't have- so you need to get a limo to fit your outputs. Looking at $1200 up I think- and they can be a real bitch- Noisy etc. I have a VLSD centre out of a 350z sitting here. I just haven't been bothered to source the right output shafts to suit, and get the diff rebuilt.
  23. Nice Nick! We don't all need drain pipes Scotty Can you make some magical forged rods and pistons that go in through the plug holes for me...?
  24. Google Skoda Octavia gay.... Some good lulz provided there- Iain, what are you planning to do with the Skoda anyway- I see an exhaust, intake, tune, and some Golf R brakes, and some BBS wheels and a bit of low.
