  1. Thats good to hear its not giving you any trouble. I'm hoping to have mine sorted by early next year. HKS seem to think 450hp with the built engine, I think the turbo is capable of that, plus a little more. I reckon if you went E85 and a good tune, you would see your power figure easy. Pretty much what Scott said, looking back on it!
  2. Spotted in Speedhunters feature on Mercury motorsport. Got to be happy with that! Apparently has Endless brakes too. Anyone here?
  3. Yup. Twins is something PNM/NM35s will never achieve. There is something called a driveshaft that prohibits that kind of fun Simple - RWD- get a TT kit, awd get a single turbo kit. Or supercharge to to be different? Plenty of stuff out there to build a VQ35de. Thankfully parts are sort of cheap and plentiful thanks to the US market. I was looking at Tomei conrods today for ~$900 USD, add some Cosworth 9.0:1 pistons (not so cheap), studs, uprated gaskets, bearings and slap together. Make 500hp on 14psi, and find a plentiful supply of re5r05a.
  4. have you thought about moding the kit to accept a GT35 to suit? Surely that would reach the power goal?
  5. FYP brah... You don't stand a chance. It will become turbo- once the bug has bitten you don't go back. I say- PM35 (thats the rwd one) 6 Speed conversion, APS TT kit. Built internals. THAT would be one hell of a Stagea.
  6. oh sweet. Talking about the bottom of p11-top of 12 . Nice. Very much appreciated if you'd PM/post that when you get the reply!
  7. Nah, I haven't had time to find out. I don't think the tuner had that closer look at the pins themselves, more the boards, with similarity to 350z's. If it was me, i'd bet there would be something on there related to the awd system. Couple of things - how hard were the manifolds to get on? By wiring, your talking about relocation of the wiring over the trans bellhousing, or Fcon wiring?
  8. Dale that sucks mate. Especially so, since you spent that time polishing and buffing- I know how much you care, because I know how hard it is to keep a black car. At least it sounds like you have some contacts in the paint and panel to sort it out. Where did it get scratched if you don't mind me asking- it will go onto my suburb avoidance list I have a sticker saying 5 year coat or something like that on my car - is that what you guys are calling dealer paint protection?
  9. Thanks Cam, I think I saw it online in a QLD lot. Thanks for the pro tip. That means the pathfinder cooling mod might just work then. How far through are you guys? before/after dyno? What did a GT-8 pull NA?
  10. hmmm... wonder how he got that complied? Looks good. Still, wouldn't get any interior but black.
  11. I have a 350z mid pipe, modified to fit a nm35 stagea. Had it on my car for about 6 months. Want a whole 70 bucks ono for it. Now, I'm in Sydney, and your in Melbourne so it's not really going to work. With freight it wouldn't be worth it. But if anyone in Sydney wants it give me a pm. Can fit it too if needs be. Couple of things about it too, but I'll talk to anyone one who wants it.
  12. Lol. Where do I get my pink jumpsuit?
  13. oh, just realised you needed the hub too. oh well, try just jap anyway.
  14. and this is why I didn't take photos! Good to realise when your bad at something and let the people who are good at it go for it! Enjoying all the pics guys.
  15. here And its cheaper. And I'm awesome. You'll need to get it pressed out/ pressed in (from memory, don't quote me on that bit...)
  16. Well, all depends on what you say you want. If you ask of a 1.5inch spaghetti mess, they will give it to you. Ask for a quiet flowing exhaust with stock noise, and it might cost a bit more, but they will make one. You in Sydney? You can have my 350z mid pipe that flows a heap better for $80. Larger diameter and just a resonator, instead of that massive muffler. For pic see Here
  17. Yeah, when you give it some, the thing is loud. The nismo I have is pretty much the same. It's not near stock. At low revs, it actually does a good job at keeping things kinda quiet. If you really want an exhaust that is stock quiet and flows, then it's going to be custom.
  18. Thanks..... But the height is a bit out on the front now it has Nismo front springs in it. Not my main concern at the moment
  19. ECU is different. More like 350Z/R35 But problem is, you have to make it talk to the transmission as well. Its been said. Just buy one if thats what you want. Money wise, it just doesn't make sense doing a conversion. (although I am aware that the same thing could be said about me)
  20. I bought eBay copy BC's.... They only came with Jizz... I feel ripped off.
  21. Nice Pics Bob. Was great to see so many great examples of Japanese cars out there today. I was in awe of both Bobs Aust R32 (so, so clean) and the Brembos on Matts V Spec II Nur! Also loved seeing the variety of cars, especially some of the original Mazda Rotors, and that diminutive Toyota Sports 800. Had a great day, but the sun bit me hard!
  22. Spotted wagon boy, 180fan, and Stageian at the Sydney all Japan day. Great day, well organised, with a fantastic range of cars in attendance. Also spotted some great SAU skylines there too!
  23. Private sale. From my wtb in the stagea section. They only made this nismo for one yearback in 2001, i think. It was made by fujitusbu, and is pretty much identical to their system, except for the nismo weldina muffler.
  24. Yeah, I'm liking it. In reality, this isn't the exhaust for a 3.5 na. There would be something better for keeping the torque from the na motor. I just put it on for giggles before the turbo goes on!Sounds great, and the quality is great too. Not quite awesome yet.
