Go to G35Driver Its pretty much teh same car, just LHD Read, learn, then make a educated decision. +1 on Dans mods, but I'd do swaybars and springs first. then exhaust + ztube/spacer. You might want to post in the V series place too...

Exhaust sound Wife/camera getting covered with black shiz outta the exhaust...

Found out today that NM35 cat back bolt up perfectly to my car! Got one of these- Autosol metal polish. holy shiz that stuff is good. The exhaust wasn't in great nick when I got it, it is second hand. But being stainless no rust. Polished it up with some autosol, and it just gleams. Sounds seriously mean too. I'll get a vid soon.

Good news today for PNM35 owners- Cat Back exhausts from the NM35 series cars fit our cars!!! Don't know about PM35's, as the you have no transfer case, the routing/length of the front pipe may be different.

Yeah, its not a bad idea. At this stage(a) I don't want to go down the build path financially. There are plenty of VQ35's running around with a lot more boost than what I would consider safe. Have a peek at G35driver.com if interested. There are cars there running 10psi, with near 50k miles boosted. I'm quite conservative regarding my ambitions. What has been made clear to me is that its all up to the tuner. Shit tune, and someone who isn't carful about how they tune cars- then some of them don't even make it off the dyno. On the other hand, if you know what your doing, have teh right supporting mods, and tune it to the strengths of the motor- some people have over 500hp from the stock bottom end. Oh, and using my turbo, if you were to give me a hi five, you might start to make boost by 5000rpm its got a rather large rear on it!! Your on! I hope your right

Yep, thats where the Gate joins in. I have 4 O2 sensors, unlike you VQ25 plebs with only one Two each bank- before and after the cat sI think... It will be reflashed. Had the ECU out and to the Tuner, confirmed its the same as 350Z/R35. Prob the easiest way- avoid piggybacks etc. Haltech looked like a nightmare - their words not mine.

A bit more - 131awkw. Funny when I had it stock on another dyno at 147. I know, I really shouldn't pay attention - dynos are only comparative tools. One can be completely different to another, even if it is the same brand. Pics of HKS cat for Cam...

So do I mate, So do I!!! Well, thought I'd getter get some pics of what we're playing with before it goes in. First, the turbo itself- HKS/Garrett GT3037 S 56 / 1.12 Ext gate. An Intercooler- Metric ass load of bolts screws, clamps, banjos and washers.... that'll be fun in japanese... Got Gate? Yup a HKS GT II 60mm Cast manifolds from a VQ25det we presume Going to an exhaust with a HKS metal Cat complete with 4 holes for the sensors Another metric ass load of piping- exhaust/intake/intercooler Pod filter- lol... shinnnyyist packing in the whole lot! Other supporting bits - A Walbro, and deatschwerks 600cc drop in injectors. PWR tranny cooler, no photo, and a little Blitz Boost Gauge. Had the car on the dyno at the tuners today- needless to say its interesting what different numbers dynos spit out. Lets just say, I now want that turbo on!

Wtb- Nm35 Fujitsubo Exhaust
PN-Mad replied to PN-Mad's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Exhaust found. Thanks All. /thread. -
X-Trail MAF- just the sensor, not the whole round thing- that'll seem to work. But Chris will give you the part # from fancy pants software....

Hey all, I'm after a NM35 fujitsubo CAT BACK exhaust. Do you have one that you want to part with? Or maybe your thinking of returning your car to stock/ getting another exhaust? Let me know. Price will depends on condition- show me what you have! If you have any other brand Stainless Steel exhaust, let me know what its like (size/noise/drone) and see if I'm interested. Not after a dump/cat, because I'll be chopping it up anyway. Cheers.

Not Impressed With Well Known Workshop

DIY for the Win. No other way to say it. With a Stagea, its crucial. If I had to take my 323 to someone everytime I needed a minor service, I'd be broke. I do a fair amount of kms on my daily, and end up oil/filtering it every 4 months or so. I did however have a mystery vibration that I took it to a recommend Mechanic for. He had a couple of shots at fixing with no improvement. Tried some ignition stuff (coil/leads etc), as it felt the car was stuttering. Put the mechanic in the car with my Missus, and showed him what the problem was. Turns out it was worn out drive shafts. No clicking or anything that would give it away, but on acceleration uphill (not on the flat) they would get out of balance and vibrate! Thankfully this started on the last 100kms of a 4000km trip. Anyway, I had the faith in him, and he found it- they appreciate that. From then on, he has been the best local mechanic, that charges me the most realistic prices. But, I still wouldn't take my Stagea there for anything other than a pink slip! -

Somebody is a railway Mech I thinks.... (right?) This kind of thing is a pretty common sight for me. Not me in the photo, just a random interwebs pic. Note right at the back of the motor there is a spare piston and rod. The engine casing is about 3 or 4 stories high... Oh, its a Container ship motor. Heavy fuel oil. -
Spotted Nick there too! Spotted a black M35 this morning again. Has roof racks and travels north on the Warringah freeway out of the city early in the mornings, like 630am. Anyone on here?

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
PN-Mad replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
It's really fine, just a touch of the curb on the side. However I did use that as excuse to get the number plate and stone chips sorted out at a later date. Scott that seat looks great. Much jealous. -

The Mrs modified the front bar on a kerb this arvo. Nothing too bad. Did get a six pack outta it but! If she comes home with a slab one day, I'll know shes done something bad! -
Nah, just remove the restrictor and all will be good. have a look down the hole, and you'll see a little piece of metal with a hole in it. Find a screw that'll thread down the hole, just like a wood screw or something, and then lever out with some pliers. Thats the way I did mine.

This is how I look at it. You sleeping away quiet peacefully, dreaming good stuff- like boost controllers, Digital TV conversions, and maybe even some Transgo shift kits. All of a sudden your awaken by two Tomcats- making that terrible noise, sounds like they're fighting just outside your window! Black v Orange- you know its going to be on! Don't watch the whole thing, its a waste of time.... CAT FIGHT! Then its like, F it, lets go get a -
Well, now I have everything I want. So, we want to sort out Craig's car before another ends up in bits all over the place. Hopefully within the next month or so. Wish you were in Sydney, I'd be getting you to make up a exhaust. yeah, probably lost a bees dick worth of oil. Not much to worry about.
