  1. Would you believe Jetwreck and I (but mostly me) stripped exactly the same bolt in the rear of my car when lowering the rear!!! Had to go for a quick drive to somewhere we knew there were some similar bolts Warning to others- they strip easy!
  2. WTF Craig? Planning a move to Canada in Winter? Those are SNOW Tyres!!!! I have the Extreme Contact DW... For anyone considering tirerack - My shipping was $270 shipped to my door. 4x 19" tyres. Sure is a great service. Oh and KU31 > KU19. KU19 comes as OEM on korean shit cars...
  3. But does it drift? Actually, stuff it - Lets see it out and about at the next Texi! I have a massive list of things I work with - but don't drive...
  4. Yeah...no. Thats some pretty serious power for that motor NA. It would be internals, higher comp etc. You can have a look round the V35/G35 / 350Z sites. Most put out 170/180 stock, up to 200 for the tricked up ones with ECU's. Mine is about 150 at the wheels, but thats running through an auto box, and AWD system! Its stock. By all means, don't let me put you off your goal, but its just not that easy as with a Turbo.Make it sound nice with headers/exhaust, and you'll love it. Keep it easy to run on the street!
  5. Past a Black C34 S2 coming out of the City this arvo, heading North. Had a Polish flag on the back or something...? Looked very clean.
  6. Sorry to hear that mate. Is he OK? Hope the cars OK too. I got some Bog filler round here somewhere...
  7. Is that a Nismo stripe in disguise? My Shopping trolley of excitement! 1991 Mazda 323. In Family since new. Mods - MX5 wheels, wool seat covers AND dash mat (oh yeah!) Rear sunshade window thing. New cheap stereo cause the old one broke!
  8. Quick Question- To those with Transmission coolers, what size are the fittings- 3/8's or 5/16ths? Looking to get one to cope with Transgo, and the turbo kit- prob just go the Repco PWR unit. 28cm x 15cm
  9. Nope - no cruise control. They have a different Grill - with a radar thingo on it- someone correct me ifd i'm wrong ! BUT - being sneaky - I can see you have a cargo net in there- 1st pic in thru the back window, its mounted up on the roof lining! Good part to have- about $400 from Nissan! Welcome to M35 ownership!

  11. Well, it's.... orange! Hope you enjoy the new ride mate. Bet you'll wish it was AWD when it rains !
  12. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp This will help. Insert stock size- compare other easier to get sizes. Profit.
  13. Nice! HKS Vpro, Racing seat - gauges everywhere, Nitrous system. And suffering the dreaded Airbag light by the look of it! Looks like a pretty serious set up - and details about power / 1/4 mile?
  14. Want to build me a VQ35 9.0:1 with balanced internals to send up here for reeeeeeeally cheap.... jks...
  15. lol... has been done! its now even front to back - Jetwreck took 3/4 of a coil off at the back. We actually measured it - its now exactly the same height as Jetwrecks Edit - 19x8.5 +22 / 225/40/19
  16. Ok, so I grabed the snappy tom, and went to a car park where its lit up. Thought I'd do it better justice than a phone pic. I have a bad camera, and no mad skills - so don't flame me for the photography!
  17. Scotty NM35 will make some up - he did mine, and I'm very happy with them PM him for a price and time- I'm sure he will oblige.
  18. I'm quite happy with the look. The only thing that bothers me a little is the space under the numberplate, that the jap plate would fill. Trying to think about ways of tastefully moding it, so it looks a little cleaner. In the grand scheme of things - its not that important! Sorry for the phone pic!
  19. using this as a bit of a test. Here is My PNM35 at Nissan, getting some J Matic and parts! R35 behind is in far a leaky front diff . Better pics to come - just working out flickr ">
  20. Yeah, I have found out further info about what the workshop does. Effectively, its their own UpRev/Osiris system- something they have developed I think. Works much the same was as a "tuner" Osiris would work. I'm much more comfortable putting a car on a dyno and getting it sorted, than getting a tune from the UK. They have a massive range of cars there. Evo's, a VK was on the rollers, GTi Golf, etc etc. Can apparently even do the R35 GTR! Same type of computer. Dale, I'll get a decent photo soon, photobucket is being frustrating, and even though I'm uploading in full, they turn out small! Yeah, nice find - sorry Chris, Rice and tomato sauce for a few weeks should put the bank balance right! Hope they go in without too much pain!
  21. Tokyo Motorsports, a business trader on SAU apparently is Australia's only UpRev pro tuner. Whats the advantage of this, compared to a tuner who can crack the ECU, reset all parameters, spend 1 day dyno tuning it on a awd dyno and cold start- and provide support if anything goes wrong? They may have a great service, but I wouldn't trust my motor with a postal tune. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding the whole process?
  22. Not planing on building the engine at this stage. I'd prefer not to. I have no idea on how much power 12psi / e85 would give me. I'd say it would be well over the magic 300kw mark, where most people think these engine shit themselves. I'm going to try going down the path of re-mapped ECU, not standalone. He's done a 250rwkw 7psi 350z, re-mapped ECU. Only thing is that it has to run a MAF, which will obviously limit things. Other option is Emanage, but if I can get results with the ECU, then whats the point having an emanage. Can of bloody worms this is...
  23. Did lots of Kms in it today round Sydney! Basically, went to 3 different workshops to ask about options for Engine management/tuning once the HKS turbo kit goes on to it. Got different answers, kinda like I expected. One place- "go for 1000cc injectors, E85, and about 12 pounds boost." I promptly told him he would be cleaning my motor off his shop floor with that option... Another place seemed very interested - they have re-mapped a Supercharged 350Z factory ECU before. I will be dropping off my ECU to them at some time, so they can see if it can be mapped like the Z. I'm very hopeful of this option. In another shops words, fitting a Haltech PS2000 would be a "nightmare job". Their words not mine... In other news- got 10 litres of Matic J from Nissan, due to the transgo kit / trans Cooler going in. Ordered a spare key for the car - wait for it - $178.60 We'll see what it is when it turns up, but if thats all, then I'm stoked. I've heard horror key stories - $400/$700 for a key. Anyway, I'm off to see how to code the thing once I get it! Heres a shitty phone pic at Nissan, thought it'd be cool - R35 in the background is in for service.
  24. Spotted a blue AR-X on the Pacific Hwy Sydney, near the RNS hospital. Gave a Toot!
  25. What a week full of brake upgrades! Very happy with mine. What are you planning on doing Dale?
