  1. how you doing it? Kit? Bis-e Bee- what you looking at Coupe or Sedan? I reckon you should go with your Gut. They are pretty much the same underneath, I reckon it'd be rare for a person to buy 2 of the same cars. Why not try something new
  2. About 60mm scotty... HKS agree with me x-Speed , WA fitted a V35 with the HKS kit. have a search, you'll find some pics somewhere. Have to re-iterate/agree with others, do it properly, or don't do it at all. You'll just end up paying more for a broken motor to be fixed.
  3. sure, they might be great brakes- for a 600hp GTR track car. You might want something a bit more civilised for daily use (and about 1/10th the price) yeah... couldn't be f'd trying to speel that properly... Jetwreck - don't just admit your wrong like that! Brah, you interwebs balls just shrunk
  4. Northshore...but then, for my model, there aren't any other choices. good rep for a reason.
  5. Offset- the side of the 4 pot will hit the spokes- the diameter of the wheel is plenty big enough. easist way to check - put a wheel on a z33 with Brembos or a R3* with Sumitomos We know arx rims don't fit, my s2 17's dont fit - that being said, I don't know if ppl have tried the axis rim.
  6. Channel 9 news - Live report by ross greenwood (syd news) on petrol prices - Gold m35 filling up at a shell station. guy wearing jeans blue and white shirt and a truckers cap! anyone else see it?
  7. meh... 2mm isn't too much to worry about anyway... war have been fought over less... lol Let me summarise for wagon boy when upgrading brakes you can do the following- 1)better quality original size pads and rotors 2)commercial big brake kit for G35/Z33 3)Z34 Akenbo kit ex US 4)r32 GTR conversion / possible upgrade to 324mm 5) z33 Brembo conversion 6) R33/34 Brembo conversion between everyone here, all those have been done. std wheels won't fit- you need aftermarket. most people worry about the fronts but not the backs. All will cost different $ depending on what you decide.
  8. Is that an offer to build me a 3.8 forged engine
  9. keep joking about turbos while you still can zei20l... I'll need to check those diff output shafts out next time we're at the warehouse- I have made more trouble for myself.
  10. Stock- 296 x 24mm fronts R32 GTR non vspec - scotty is very right - 296x32 R33 GTR - 324mmx30mm taken from dba. don't know about minimums. There are some dodgy discs out there for sure. I'd say 2mm wear and its time for something fresh.
  11. Noob. You measured yours...? guess what they are...
  12. I got "wtf is that?" from the diff shop today... ... basically a 350z. I said. Its the easiest way out now.
  13. Hmmm... some more info on this - Looks like you need VLSD halfshafts to do this. I think they are different - the open diff has just one set of splines, while the VLSD have two separated sets of splines. Looks like i'm looking for more parts....
  14. more importantly.... get those brembos!!!
  15. At a rough guess, I'd say it was the Torque Converter locking up in the Auto gearbox. I think I've seen it mentioned in other dyno graphs by people with Autos, but I'm happy to be wrong if someone has a better explanation.
  16. How did you translate it yourself...? I have a HKS instruction manual that needs doing!
  17. Yeah, ditto while I was in Orange... but- I found where all the VN commodores end up
  18. Well, Picture lets me know who you bought it from! Good choice there.
  19. Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay. What state you located? There is plenty of info here about mods and options and power, susp, brakes etc etc If you have a question, check out a search first, it might have been covered before- if not post away!
  20. Thought I might Bump this up a bit - Coming up SOON! details earlier in the thread- but a recap- Hope to see you there! Date will be the 2nd April from about 5pm onwards. 1 Chaplin drive, lane cove west. There is one major rule for this meet. If you drive like a fwit around or within the facility I will take your number and give the good old boys in blue a call!....this building is owned by my family and we do have use of it while we act normally.
  21. Its better I have it... postage to the Westside would have made you its bitch. That, and I bought my car from the place he works for! Yeah, I know the VLSD isn't top notch, but its not a track car, needs to be quiet, and well, it was cheap! With the AWD system, I don't get spin anywhere ATM, But when it goes rwd, I want it in there.
  22. So povo pack, and luxo barge models got one (with HICAS), but the best model didn't...? My ribs hurt... Craig might have to install my LSD... In Other news- PNM35 travelled to Orange and back today - about 520kms 3 ppl, shit in the back. Did 10.4km/L on the screen, on track for about 750kms out of the tank- Bells line of road- so plenty of hills. Much enjoyed Sway bar handling, but some of the bumps on the road hurt my ass- def time for a re-asphalt.
  23. Spotted a Silver NM35 ARX on Bells line of Road this arvo, heading for Lithgow. Gave a flash... Went to Orange and back today in the Stagea - 500kms
  24. Well, I just got a VLSD from a 350Z today. Cheap Cheap. low-ish kms on it, so should be ok. Now I remember that 180 had some issues with his stub axles or something, was that right? When the Quaife went in? I'll just have to see if it goes in the rear end
