  1. +1, VQ25dd, but as we know, its FWD... so may fit, maybe not? Do they have a relay or something that could be kaput?
  2. Coast cruise Thursday...?
  3. Here is a Rock. You may now crawl under it. Never has one man faced the wrath of so many angry volvo drivers...
  4. Upside down... ???
  5. My datsun with about 3 donkey powers could light a rear wheel in the wet. Come on, if its rwd, you really should be able to get some slip. Iain, I'll let you know when I had it on the dyno, it had a perfectly flat torque curve thank you very much. You keep on talking but all I can hear is Lag... and a farting noise from a blocked BOV.
  6. Its going to be pretty easy to tell if it is just rwd... Since you have an open diff/no LSD, plant it at low speed in the wet /low grip situation. If that rear inside wheel lights up, then your rwd. Thats what I found. If it hooks up and storms away, then your awd-ing. In rwd, mine will just spin it forever... bit sad really, needs a LSD. But in awd, it will allow for a little chirp in the rear, and then just hooks up and shoots away. edit- in safe and private area only.... don't be stupid
  7. We I can only go from my experience, and I have a different 4wd system to you. When I pop the fuse out of mine (I guess its the same thing as you disconnecting the wire) I get the same outcome with the 4wd light. 50 mts down the road it pops on. HOWEVER I have the opposite effect. when the fuse is pulled the car puts up the 4wd light, and the car only operates in RWD. So for me- 4wd light = FAULT, and your only getting 2wd I don't know if that'll help you at all. maybe you'll have to put the whole thing on stands, or a hoist, and figure it out.
  8. THATS the one that I always see They Live down the road from me... had a ranga kid in the back this arvo... saw it as it went past my balcony, while having a beer! I think the same house has a S14 drift pig, a S15, and a restored AE86... yes I did see you taking it for a "test" drive, whoever you are
  9. I have remote start... and I have wires too... no friggin idea what they are for...? Why would we have a heater element for an internal mirror?
  10. Maybe Vas works on RB coil packs...?
  11. nah ben they are awesome cars, you should buy one for sure. And when you do, First dibs on your wheels...
  12. Try using Vaseline... that should smooth things out for you. Recipe thread dutifully ignored!
  13. the main reason is rust and longevity. Something you might be intimately acquainted with, looking at your sig. Depending on how you use your car, that one mild steel might turn into rust quite quick, even if its painted, because you can't paint from the inside out... They also sound different, as i understand it, mild steel has a dull, softer note, while stainless has a louder, harsher note (obviously this is highly depended on the muffler/resonator set up) Its fine if you want to go for an cheaper product, just don't judge us for wanting the opposite.
  14. Mines is 4WD.... Anyways, looks like the NM35 ones will fit
  15. Congrats Mate! Welcome to wagon world, prepare to be the envy of all Subaru drivers...
  16. yeah, on this website it says they fit all 4WD models. Thats a good thing. I think the 2WD ones have different bars and suspension.
  17. Hi All, Anyone got FAST that will cover a 2005 PNM35? I want to find out if the swaybars are the same as a NM35. Let me know and I'll PM the VIN. Cheers.
  18. Its not really a single system, if you look at the pic - its a dual system, with a X over, that runs to a single muffler at the rear. Yeah, sure he could have got a bodged mild steel system bent up for less cash, but it wouldn't come close to a Stillen product. BTW the price for that is 975 US, the rest is in airfreight... I'd love to see someone do a custom V35 sedan Dual Stainless exhaust with twin resonators for under 1000 AUD. I would sure be interested.
  19. wtf? Talk about all the bad luck! Saw the F6 down near where we met.
  20. Bump- any more M35's or C34s coming along tonight?
  21. Did the Tiptronic reversal today... not as easy as I thought cause of different interior, but got it done OK. Also found and vac'd some Jap dudes smoking ash in the console, and fixed that ever floppy gearshift top thingo.
  22. about a couple of inches i think. I've seen my car side to side with an Autech, and it looked quite a bit lower.
  23. PSSHHHTTT...... Hektic! Re fart noise- Sounds like +1 for having a NA car. Chicks don't think you had a bad Curry the night before .....
  24. Whitestag- you'll need to take that car on a long run to prevent plugs fouling... See you Thursday !
  25. ..... I might be going the F3 then If you free, come in that, seriously not many ppl are picky about what car you bring! I've seen just about everything there!
