  1. Bloody hell, that brings back some memories. My first car was a C210 Skyline coupe. Looks like that Colour too, manual box. It had gone around the clock at least twice. sold it in early 2003 for 1k, having bought it for 500! Suffered terrible rust. Don't think it'd be around anymore. Plate was JWB something, NSW.
  2. Where can I get one of these 70,000 yen GT-R's I think you meant 7,000,000, but got the point. Must be a VERY expensive boat trip to Australia to get $158k
  3. hmmm... looks like a different system again. The shots that I saw didn't look anything like my menu's. But I have not a clue if that has anything to do with converting it! +1 for the idea!

  5. you don't have to be in a club to have shannons insurance. Once upon a time you did, but they realised that hampered business expansion. Therefore they went to a policy of the "motoring enthusiast". F knows what that means- Watch Bathurst every year...? (don't ask) That being said, they are suited to some kinds of insurance, but not others. Every day cars are just priced out of business, but old/strange/valuable cars they like to see, and the price would be excellent. For me right now, too expensive.
  6. they'll sit on the shelf till then!!!
  7. Correct, nothing exciting about Toyota whitegoods. The Stagea is just a far better car for the price! They won't discount for NA, because they base it off a AR-X turbo for the category of car, at least, thats the s**t I got spun. Hope you enjoy it. Looks like its very nicely optioned.
  8. Let me add my congrats to you. Great to have another PNM35 on here. I'm Justcar, and within what Daleo described. Note that they will have to create a profile for the car, because the only cars on their books/computer system are 2001-2003 AR-X's for some reason. But just explain nicely/patiently, and don't expect a discount cause its not a turbo!
  9. ***goes and makes sure car is locked in garage*** Radio comes converted by Prestige. The numbers displayed are just 15 units or something lower that what your really listening to, if that makes sense. Its not really an issue as you just spend a little time, preprogram the stereo, and then you have all your fav's. Eugene is right, the instant torque of the 3.5 is great, no waiting, and it certainly makes it easy to drive in the burbs. Popup screen conversion we are waiting on (eagerly ), the series ones are convertible to english. for S2, we're just waiting on a program to do so, same with S2 V35's coupes/sedans. Tv conversion is available for any model. It does tell you how much fuel your using...
  10. cooking butter chicken tonight. might even make some poppadoms.
  11. one MILLION DOLLARS.... Sorry just got caught up in the flow Go buy that Grey RWD Axis S PM35 with the nice interior. That is just the best looking car. fullstop.
  12. 1) The new filter takes up some oil, remember how much came out when you took the old one off? 2) when you start an engine, and go for a drive, the oil will circulate around the engine doing its job. To get an accurate reading, you need to turn the engine off, and let the oil drain back down into the sump- when the dipstick measures it. The best time to check a dipstick is when the car is cold, and you haven't started the engine for a number of hours, ie overnight. Check it first thing in the morning- I reckon you'll find your missing oil! Good luck!
  13. White NM35 Axis, about 2:45pm, Woy Woy road, Central coast, white on red Plate, gave it a wave from mine
  14. Mine is stock, but gets the ass out in the wet, but only at slow speed ie roundabouts. Never misbehaved itself at a higher speed. Might have something to do with instant engine response too... The front needs the bar, you can feel those front tyres being leaned on hard! I think i'll get both ends sorted..
  15. Good. At least you have driven one, rather than try to imagine what they are like! The ATTESA system from series one to two changed. I believe skylines/M35 series 1 all run a pump/hydraulic system (i think). The PNM35/G35x run a electromagnetic clutch plate to power the front wheels. This is the same type of system as the R35 GT-R uses- therefore it must have some merit eh? Doubt same parts are used between the cars though! So, yes, its completely different to a GTS-4, R32-34 GT-R's, C34's etc.
  16. Agreed with Iamhe77. If your stepping up from a R33 GT-R, looking at a R34, the M35 is a bit of an odd ball! As far as modification goes, pretty much anything that you can strap (enginewise) to a Infinity G35x, V35 sedan, or Z33 will either fit, or require a little bit of modification to suit. There are twin turbo kits out of the states for about 7k atm, suit stock motor, but if you want GT-R numbers your up for a rebuild with forged internals. Frankly, I don't know how much power the PNM35 AWD system will take, because I don't think anyone has tried it! You'd have to look at big hp G35x's in the States for a lead. The Yanks have done heaps more for the VQ35de than the Japs, thats because of the G35 coupe and sedan. Parts from there are inexpensive, and sometimes an outright bargain at the current exchange rate (almost 1:1). You can make over 1000hp, if you have the pockets to deal with it (much like anything i guess!) Yes the auto is a downer, but you have no choice. No AWD manual available. Ultimately, if your after a drivers car nothing will compare to a GT-R. I suggest coming down to sydney and driving a PNM35/PM35/NM35 or even anything with the V35 platform VQ35de and you will soon get the picture. If you have s**t to haul/ family/dog and are after something different to a commonwhore or whatever, the M35 is awesome.
  17. Approved. + if your scotty, you can run your car on it
  18. Word of the day!!!!
  19. I'm interested. Lets see if we can make it work.
  20. I have epic POWERDUCT power on my 3.5.... Seriously, get some black foam/rubber, open air box, glue for $10. Go by $170 worth of beer instead- far better option.
  21. Thats right, we need more M35s representation getting up there. Come on, I know a few people are on the northside...
