  1. Lame. well, it looks like a turbo from the outside..... Maybe I'll just have to get Nismo stickers to fit in.....
  2. Drags? cross fingers for a date I can make!
  3. Thats a good thing! Mrs = Curb Magnet
  4. Thats mad. Look at those things! More photos please!!! I'm glad you didn't give up or listen to the "mechanics..." edit- found pics! NICE
  5. Turbo guys correct me if i'm mistaken, but generally the Autech models exhausts differ only in the muffler - thats what I've seen on the PM35's. Orange( or red) under the glove box- thats probably a emergency road flare, the kind that go onto football pitches regularly. Jap car thing. Tell your mate its an ejector seat button if you have sunroofs....
  6. Do you keep your Cock up there too.... (look close... )
  7. I got one of those nets in mine, but i didn't know it could do all that!!!! Also have the Retractable blind, and a cargo "Stagea" Cargo mat And no, I don't wish to sell any of them. Its is good at keeping the dog in the back!
  8. fluffy dice...? How did you get the bluetooth to work? I haven't tried it at all, just figured it wasn't worth the effort, but if it works, might as well hey?
  9. Yeah.... well..... I'm going to pull my fuse and go volvo drifting....
  10. More like- it wasn't him- he wasn't pushing the bloody car because he blew it up!
  11. I don't have dual Climate control in mine... Another Stagea abnormality! Who knows... doesn't bother me! edit- but i do have steering wheel controls for stereo and phone(!)
  12. I don't get it in the Stagea, but the work Falcon wagons do it bad. I have a feeling might be a auto tranny thing. Check levels and colour of ATF, maybe a fluid flush is in order? Don't know other than that!
  13. Nice to know - to tell you the truth, the model separation completely baffles me. RS v RX, when they all have different options! When I was looking, it seemed like the most likely car to have leather/sunroof was the Axis- I didn't want either of those options in my car for personal reasons. Oh, and Fingers crossed for the conversion!
  14. Thanks - Cleared that up. I hope I can get a English conversion soon, there are things in my computer I can't wait to see what they are! One I think, is even a restaurant guide- i think its linked with sat nav though, otherwise I'd be able to tell you the best sushi in downtown Osaka is.... The motorised screen is good. Works well, and is smooth- just hope it stays that way!
  15. @ series 2 - yeah - I'm forever getting hopeful when a series 2 is mentioned - only to find its a C34 Sounds like you'll be in a NM35 AXIS with those features. You can get a warranty from any dealer, most you can just pay for/ get them to chuck it in. Generally its an aftermarket warranty- but just look at what it covers and for how much before you jump in - they aren't like a factory warranty. Choose 1/3/5 yrs etc etc. +1 Are the Series one screens not motorized...? just a pop up one is it? I didn't know that, but plus one for the Series 2 As said before - the sat nav is useless - you CAN convert I think, but the money involved you'd be silly, you just buy a tom tom et al...
  16. Thats absolutely correct. They run a system used on the G35x (a sedan in the states, like our V35, but with AWD). There is no fluid, pumps etc. It also makes turning it RWD VERY easy (you might want to have a look at zei20l's signature for details)
  17. Sorry, I see it now They do have a white AWD AXIS there at the moment on the website. Anyway, back to the point, with a budget of 23k, I guess it depends on the type of person you are. If you can leave it stock and not want to do things to it, a PM35/PNM35 would be great. If you want to tinker, not afraid to be different and know that you'll want to change things/modify etc, a 250RX/RS would be the go. If you want one with everything that opens and shuts - burger with the lot- its an AR-X.
  18. +1 for semi conscious AXIS come in both AWD and RWD (RWD has been imported in far more numbers so far) 350RX come in both AWD and RWD ARX are AWD. The AWD system changed series one to series two, from a hydraulic system to an electromagnetic clutch system. I'm finding other differences as we go!!!
  19. SO much to reply to.... OK, as far as I know, I'm the only 3.5 on SAU atm. I have a PNM35, which means VQ35 AND AWD. A PM35 is the RWD version. Yes, I did get my car from Northshore, and like many people, I would buy again from them. (like Ian I don't work for them, just a satisfied customer) The 3.5 is much more city friendly- instant torque gets it off the line better, but the turbo is (ultimately) faster once it manages to spool up.... Although I haven't tried it out, my thoughts is that the performance gap (stock/stock) is not that much. Plus you get that awesome 3.5 warble sound! One of my friends said he thought it was a V8!!! The 3.5 has a (much nicer ) interior, really just my opinion ( it is upgraded form the 1st series) You can only get an auto, which isn't a problem, cause of the Mrs i guess. As said previously, only the 350RX models meet SEVS. The AXIS models are a mixed bag- they have a variety of gear on them, some with more options, some with less, they seem like a far more personalised car. If your in Syd, or close by, get down to Northshore and check some out. My money would be on a PNM35. My Mrs is happy driving ours...
  20. Tough break mate Lets hope insurance etc goes through quick and your back on the road M35 style soon. *cough* Series 2 *cough*.....
  21. Do I need two?.... I can't use the "my turbo will blow" excuse on the Mrs to get an exhaust.... DAMM!
  22. I guess there is a difference between advertised online generically (with jap pics or whatever i.e JSpec) and actually having the Car in Brisbane. Possibly great big stuff up...who knows?
  23. Only think that isn't Black is the windscreen... Go on, paint that black see how you get by. Is it all back together with the new motor?
  24. I guess thats the key... the consequences if you don't know what your doing are... not so good! by the way... bbenny, I want your wheels. They are bloody awesome. Apparently they are no longer imported into Aus in that size by Avanti. I have an epic price on RPF1's in that size, but i don't think they suit. thoughts?
