  1. I know, I know!!! Its being processed by the Minister for Finance and War... Also that was on 95 pump, don't ask, the Mrs filled it up. I had a chat to the guy, he said the biggest improvement he has seen on a V35 is a shot of NOS.... cue Fast and Furious moment... I couldn't believe it. But he said about 100kwatw and no engine damage Prob won't be going back there for any work!
  2. Only 5 cars....?! Yeah, what said above is true to my knowledge, but there is a Mystery car popped up, up here that I can't explain. The PNM35 is a great car, the NM35 guys will hate me for it, but when I drove both, the Series 2 just seemed so much more rounded and nice to drive. Def. a better interior, and a fair bit more parts support with a VQ35de. Talk to Ben. He might be a bit scattered atm, they are moving premise about 6 km up the road. He'll point you in the right direction! +1 happy customer! edit for link...
  3. Had the PNM35 on a 4wd dyno today. Absolutely stock, std filters exhaust, etc etc. Running a VQ35de. Dyno'd at 147.3kw- dynodynamics. Flat Torque curve, running quite rich in the top end at 11.5:1 AFR Pretty much as expected, V35's are running a little more, but you take into account auto-slushbox and 4WD loss to make up the difference!
  4. Scotty, I'm beginning to think you just want some competition on the VQ35 front! Sorry, but its going to stay NA for now. Might even get the most powerful NA Stagea in Aust! (and the only one who has bothered tuning it! )
  5. World Peace- nah, just twin turbos! And shhhh.... Don't tell anybody but I think "supercharger" is a dirty word around here I'm picking up really mixed messages about intakes from different places (whats new eh?) Agreed a Plenum spacer is a worthwhile addition, but I really want some good advice on the benefit of a CAI, pod or other set up before I jump in there. Options are: 1) get a high quality Panel filter in the stock airbox, and change the tube to a Z-Tube 2) get a kit that retains an airbox, but puts a pod in place, + a z tube or 3) a Nismo R tune kit What are the recommendations, sometimes there is just TOO MANY choices!!!
  6. Actually, that would be the first thing I'd check!
  7. Hi Paul, and Welcome! First thing I'd check would be the Air con/heater filter. Its behind the glovebox I think? They are often neglected, never changed and have a load of rubbish in them. This is a how to on the C34, so not really applicable to us, but will show you the problem- have a look at the filters in the pics.Dirty Filters Oh, have a look HERE for some stuff on the M35, go to the last page. Hope that helps you!
  8. Hi All, Do we have any other Series 2 M35 (2004>) people about on here? Be interested to swap ideas, and plans for mods etc. Otherwise its just the V35 section! There is lots of VQ35de info on there...
  9. Go Buy a VL commo then.... Just remember your in a 1700kg Wagon and you'll be sweet as a nut. As for the turbo's blowing up... I woudn't know! (thats kinda why I bought mine) Looking forward to seeing what Andy gets on the Dyno. I think i'll be getting on the same dyno, so we can do a bit of a comparo!
  10. Its when they say- "Well, on my Corolla/323" THATS when you start to worry!
  11. Hi Ryan, Welcome to SAU, and in particular the Stagea section! The stagea isn't going to be as easy as the evo, unfortunately. There are quite a few guys working on different ECU's around the place, but there isn't as much aftermarket support for VQ25det bits- compared to an Evo! But don't be discouraged. Plenty of guys have popped out good numbers without spending heaps, they really are a solid engine. (Jetwreck may well disagree at this point... ) As a wagon, Can't beat em! Thats why I got one! I got no idea about the stereo, as I am a bit of the opposite, don't care too much. But depending on models, you might have the Bose stereo, which was an option on some cars. Edit!- Phark... see what happens when you take a bit of time to reply, everyone else jumps in too!
  12. Blue M35 250tRS this morning, about 630 heading south down Pac hwy Chatswood, Black on Gold Plate, and driver wearing a "distinctive uniform". Oh yeah, whats with the "nudge bar"
  13. Nice Rims mate, saw them on IM for a little while and was tempted, but couldn't part with the cash! Need picks for sure once their on. As for the Mrs part- good luck there!
  14. I'm sure you'll get whatever you agreed on. I thought scotty might have kept the sump for the VQ35 conversion. Whats the plan, just put another stock back in, or toughen it up a little?
  15. beware Craig, I bet the new motors missing the sump....
  16. Just had a look at the Pics, doesn't look like any spoiler, just the normal back. Someone help him out, mines got some sort of spoiler on it, so its not the same.
  17. Talking M35 or C34? Might help before you start going for non existent screws...
  18. "Officer, why the #*%& would I steal a Volvo....????"
  19. I guess in a sick way, now it looks like your Avatar! At least you got it home I guess
  20. Jetwreck- seriously not cool. Is it a smoke machine?
  21. Spotted Mystery silver M35 again. Last night, Comenarra Parkway about 1115pm, Rego- BKK##N. Anyone on here?
  22. Thats strange. Ok then, Silver M35- ARX, Square exhaust pipe muffler, Bigger multi spoke alloys, and number plate starting with "B"???
  23. Andy's M35 just went past my place 5:15pm. I was in the Garage putting mine up on ramps!
  24. don't you guys also get taxed on engine capacity? Larger the motor, more you pay for MOT or road tax or something?
  25. In for a close second on that plenum and pulley for a VQ35. Let me know what you want for it...
