  1. Hi guys, I want to ask your experiences about Motorsport and motion sickness. I find that after a few track day sessions I find myself feeling nauseous, sick in the stomach, bit of a head ache and defiantly not feeling like I'm giving 100%. Now driving on the road I've only done it to myself once, driving around, up and down hills in tassie. But on the track I've experienced it several times. This is while driving, not passenger btw.. I've read lots on the interwebz about this, and it seems to be at least semi common. People have suggested things like eating real healthy 24hrs beforehand, ginger, medications, wrist bands etc. I want to enjoy and make the most of my track days, so I want to know, do you suffer it, and what you have done to prevent or minimise the symptoms?
  2. Softer foot would help... just sayin. There is not some magical rubber that is going to hook up 390kw. You have to learn to pedal it. Off to school for you; Trackschool mo fo!
  3. They are track rims. Track rims don't have hub caps. Get a fkn grip,!!!!!! All you will do is deposit them on the outside of corners when the wheels get hot.
  4. Park on hills.
  5. Is this going to happen in Mexico, or up here? Going to have to have some good fab for the exhaust manifolds to clear steering racks and things. Looking fwd to skid vids.
  6. I'd go the KW, imo its the best quality here, progressive springs mean its probably going to be more comfortable on the street.
  7. Will require chev badge to be engineered as well. and UNIT sticker May also be substituted with JETPILOT sticker.
  8. Auto or manual? And please go buy some decent brakes. Otherwise someone will be pulling you out of a tree.
  9. I'll be popping a few things in the back of the stagea and coming down
  10. Oh, man, that is tidy. Yup, white wheel centres and decals need to get sorted quick!
  11. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/440564-skyline-240k-skyline-c210/?hl=datsun www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/396892-looking-for-datsun-240-c110/ This thing pops up every now and then Terry.
  12. Can't be registered I think. Not that with the mods and stuff that was a possibility anyway.... Why not make a trade for a 240k or something. The Arabs are always getting on here looking for old datsuns.
  13. Should have got the centres re-machined like the originals! Want to try it again with my LMGT2s...?
  14. How is the team going? Are we competitive?
  15. A field of 45 cars in the group A and C class at Phillip Island supports this. Plus another GTR is being rebuilt to race.
  16. Hahaha, you even had a close look at a Gibson GTR? There isn't all the much oem GTR left to be quite honest. It's just the engineering is under a plain looking shell.
  17. People derive pleasure in different ways. It immature to think that modifiers are somehow the ultimate form, or restorers are the ultimate. We all enjoy different aspects of the automotive lifestyle. It's only my opinion, but some cars are best left original, while others are great modified. When I see someone wreck a significant car by modding it, it's kind of like when a modifier sees someone JDM a Kia rio! Lolz If you need to see passion, just talk to someone who has researched their car so much they have restored the chalk build markings on the undercarriage. They love it just as much as anyone who installs coilovers and a exhaust.
  18. You bet your ass! The GMS cars were/are still racing. Brock's cars aren't. They are all holed up because of the value of them.
  19. I went to school with a heasman (yes, related). I have used them too for an alignment. Found them professional, and knowledgable. Explained the issues I was having, and why the car felt the way it did. Only thing that stops me going back is it's not a convienant location at all for me.
  20. Nurs, while very nice, are not rare. There is more to enjoying cars than shoving bits that please you on them or making them super fast. That is simply one aspect of being an automotive enthusiast. Put a 800hp R32, and Bobs pretty much pristine R32 ADM next to each other at a car show/cruise and I bet the ADM would get more attention. This is a good example. Rare car. Not been molested by 3 different owners who knew what were the best parts for it. This is a keeper. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441409-1996-r33-nissan-skyline-gtr-lm-limited-vspec-1-of-98-made-1-of-14-vspecs/
  21. Speak to Chef - I believe he is in the process of importing a V8 model from the UK.
