  1. Yeah, the single outlet system does blow. Sounds like a Vacuum. I remember Iain's had one on it. Doesn't compare to the dual outlet, or the other cat back systems. I think the pipe diameter is smaller too. The Nismo or legalis are the pick of the bunch IMO. There are cannon type styles to, if you like that look.
  2. Ah well, sounds like you gave it a red hot go. But sometimes things just aren't suppose to be.
  3. Nah, buy a s13 and hassle GTRs for a third of the price.
  4. I've driven behind lots of GTRs and Emos. The above few posts (bar the rubbish about mx5s-lol) is good material. I found the corner exit speed of the emo much more impressive and harder to gain on compared to the GTRs. The braking advantage is also well in the Emos favor. But then again, you talking about something that just doesn't have the character of the GTR. For value and outright speed, the emo hands down. If you don't care too much about being #1, and want entertainment and fun (and have a sizable budget...) then grab a GTR.
  5. Meh, bit much to ship one. Give me a generic pic/ sketch with the dimensions you want and I'll be happy to measure it up for you.
  6. Was the drag from the huffy slider too much? Lol Good to hear. Get with the updates. And if you feel a prickly beard on the back of your neck in the night; run like hell.
  7. Lap times! You need to beat the red turd tractor!
  8. Is it brokken on the side of the Hume somewhere? Or have you reached the gurus lair?
  9. Hahahahahah My little shitbox didn't even have vtec! It was a uni student car. I think it was before the whole vtec fan boi thing. The vtec models were pretty expensive in 2002, so kids couldn't afford them.
  10. It would have just been nice for them to just round off the spark plug tubes at the end to just a little flat surface, so it would seal better. But alas, I suppose the accountants got in their ear. Probably one of those will it last 3 years/100k kms things. Even the old honda I had (honda boi!) had a better mating surface.
  11. I see what Scotty means. The sealant wouldn't help. It's just a thin metal edge.
  12. Should tell nissan that... Whole thing is held together with sealant! I never had an issue with it when I was changing sumps over. No sealant disappeared. As long as the instructions are followed, the stuff works well. If you use tons of it, and clamp it down hard immediately, then your right, you're in for a bad time.
  13. It's got less kms than your motor, so should by all accounts be in better condition. If you are doing that, put a little amount of copper seal around the plug Seals. I think there is a rubber line outer seal to replace too, that sits in the cover? Scotty? Should only be a couple of bucks.
  14. *sigh* Please install sense of humour. One light hearted jibe about crazy options that are available. Suddenly it's all, you must be here for the post count... It's ok buddy. Hopefully someone will sell you an exhaust soon.
  15. Could have used the want to buy section...
  16. There are cars wrecking you can buy lights off. Exhaust options are everywhere, Scotty, jap systems from cat back, custom items. You think something is going to land in your lap? Just have a look around. Don't be lazy.
  17. Thread brings lolz. Op, with all respect you have a lot of reading and learning to do. Have a look around the forum in different places you will find all the info you will ever need.
