  1. Has anyone gone and mapped out the Group A cars systems? It seems a little bit of a no brainer since it could go flat out for 1000kms, and not have an issue. I have a few pics of the setup, but haven't bothered to draw it or anything. I know they run restrictors, cause I've seen them when the head was off, but don't know the size. Good opportunity to go and map one out next time someone sees the car at an event.
  2. Bump for cheap awesome brake upgrade. Get your r32 gtst stopping! Pay the asking price and I'll throw in one set of your choice of the used brake pads to suit sumitomos. Your choice of nissan Oem, project Mu type NS, or A1RMs. All used, and in various levels of meat. Good deal!
  3. The T2 3071 just isn't a great turbo. I remember having a quick chat to Jez about it when I saw one at his place. He said tuning that vs my t3 turbo was completely different. Mine loves timing, but the smaller version was hating it. I think the most Jez got out of the t2 was 260ish from memory.
  4. Lol. Unless your running some crazy 300-900 degree pads, your brakes shouldn't squeal at all, whatever caliper. It's only a product of not doing the job right.
  5. If your head can snap over the back of them - then do not buy. I have a fixed back Velo, My head/helmet will not fit between the seat and the roof. I suggest seeking advice from a reputable race gear supplier, not buying ching chong spec ebay stuff.
  6. Spotted a blue m35rs/rx in Newport Beach this arvo.
  7. Gah plum wine! Has the most unwanted effect on your bowels! Mmmmmm scrumpy!
  8. Merry Christmas to all the Stagea owners, past and present Have a happy and safe holiday period
  9. Your going to shit tar tomorrow morning.
  10. blegh. Can't touch it. Bad formative drunken experience. Will throw up if one drink of that shit is consumed.
  11. Whats with the Dark beers. Its Summer - time to pilsner and lager it up. But then again, you live in the woods, the cold dark woods, so that might explain it.
  12. Hi Guys, I have some GKTech front Brake Caliper dogbones/adaptors to space a 280mm setup out to 324mm. So it uses your 4 pot Sumitomo Calipers, and spaces them out to suit a 324x30 GTR rotor. Suitable for S13 as well with 5 stud conversions. They are billet aluminium, and come with all the fittings needed. So suits R32 GTS-t, S14-S15 turbo models, and Z32. Does NOT Suit R33 gts-t, R32 GTR or any other model. The adaptors have been on the car 2000kms only. Comes complete with 324mm Rotors. They have had a fair bit of use, but still measure within the minimums and will be fine for road use for a while. They have been recently machined, so should be all good. NOTE: 17 inch wheels are required, and you'll need to trim your stone shields. Price $225 ono PM Me here or 0431 Zero Nine Zero 240 Pick up Northern suburbs of Sydney Post at buyers cost - but note Rotors are heavy. NOTE: Does NOT come with these rotors pictured above - comes with the ones pictured BELOW. This is just an illustration of the setup with a 17" wheel.
  13. Can't believe no one has bought the Diffs yet. Amazing upgrade for the NM35, because it shortens the final drive. feels a heap better on the road.
  14. There is a 140 page thread on wheel sizes and offsets here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/84208-wheel-sizes-offsets-for-skylines/ But from the sound of it, its a very normal size setup - you should be fine with no rubbing.
  15. Yup, I use them in the stagea. Looking back, I was probably over vigorous bedding, but mine have performed fine on road and track up to their supposed max temp. Take the suspect side apart again and have a look what's going on. You could have bumped the dust shield, or might be something scraping, or you might have installed the pad metal to metal or shim in the wrong location for all we can help you on the net!
  16. Didn't do anything silly, like put the brake pads back-to-front? Did you bed them in as manufacturers instructions?
  17. Amazing what using the right grade fluid will do. Let's hope, for your sake, no long term damage occurred.
  18. Yeah, fine. No difference.
  19. Nah, they are 380mm, they fit under 18s with the right sizings and shape. Ie, big brake clearance disks. Cars have done it, there was a kit available somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find it again. Have a google.
  20. Manifolds isn't the main issues. Yes, they bolt on, but the engine management side of things would be the biggest head ache. Also sorting a turbo and wastegate to suit the 3500cc with the confined packaging.
  21. Dear god, please don't be part of that stupid roof rack crowd.
  22. Did you contact the odo check person? Just saying, just cause it says 90xxxkms doesn't mean that it hasn't done more. The dereg will show. Also, don't let them near your car without you there. They may well just clear the trip computer....
  23. Checked for water/moisture behind the battery, and in the drivers kick panel fuse box? Thats cause a few weird ones of late.
