  1. For the extra $200 I think it's crazy not to get the tuner package, simply for the ability to take it anywhere you want and own the cable and rights yourself. That's my opinion.
  2. yes, you need to do the idle re-learning. It will continue to idle high until you do. Search for instructions - its a timed depressing pedal thing.
  3. Have a look at the AF ratio correction. That's what the O2 sensors are doing to try to keep 14.7. Also, check the base timing for VQ37s. I know the 35 is 15 degrees. Sounds like it may need a reset too.
  4. Can't remember if the house has carpet.... Cause I'm always in the garage
  5. Yeah, he was pissing himself. I was sore... It was at Wakefield last time we went.
  6. Yeah, it's the prolonged heat from the track that's a killer mate. Texi was short bursts, not enough to make it hot enough. Remember, Nick was laughing at me when I got a 3rd degree burn in my forehead, when it touched the front housing of my turbo, not the exhaust, but just the front. Was probably 250 degrees....
  7. Pot belly stove in the corner for winter! Don't plug all ya fridges in you dope, you'll just end up paying dorrahs to cool nothing! Also, it's cheaper to run a full fridge than almost empty, so use the freezer to store snags and steaks when you bulk buy man tips Also, silicon 90s are just fine, so long as you position them more than 3 cm from the glowing hot exhaust manifold or give them some protection But I bet your solution will be top notch, they have been so far!
  8. Still got a Cat in the exhaust?
  9. Hmm, well I don't think squeal settles, only gets worse in my experience. Obviously the guys re installed all the shims and things, maybe go through the bedding procedure again, and see what happens. Mechanics tend to be a little fast in the bedding and don't do it properly. If still bad, rip the pads out, clean, reassemble with gunk, and maybe file the pads. My HPX are perfect on the stagea.
  10. Fecking ell! I thought it was in for brakes and something simple! Sounds good Nick, banish that ancient stock turbo to the garage shelf! Should go alright eh?
  11. There was relvence before the post disappeared! Now it just makes me look crazy...
  12. Uggs are only good for V36s. Not relevant to OP
  13. Oh, and regarding forced induction, uprev will do anything easily on a stock motor. The limit of uprev is that is has to run a afm. It will run any size injectors if you want to run 2000s, but it still needs a afm. I found the stock afm was just about out of range at 6psi. Uprev sell a tweaked afm, that will handle significantly more flow, but the car will need to be tuned with it. That would be a 500 or so hp afm. So, anything you want to do on a stock motor, uprev will do. If you want 600kw on a built motor, then uprev isn't the best option as you need to run MAP
  14. They are all very different systems. Osiris is a re flashing cable and software Haltech is a standalone, but will need stock ecu to run some things Greddy is a piggyback It's easy to get Osiris to work with jap ecus. Most are mapped, but it's possible to add cars too. It's 700US plus shipping for the tuner cable. I would recommend DVS Jez at Gosford for tuning, but unigroup also tuned uprev stuff.
  15. STFU you! Why don't you jump in and teach some of us plebs to steer!
  16. ^^^^ This man speakth the truths. Just don't expect friends to be friends at the end if you ask them to help you install it.
  17. Price please, as per forum rules.
  18. Fixed, and yes.
  19. Still here. Offer me somewhere near asking
  20. Hahahahahah Aporagies to Stagea San... Turbo has been sold
  21. I've got some Jap blokes emails still stuck in the Carwings on board computer. Is that an option...?
  22. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/434418-fatz-big-brake-sale-grex-ap-racing-brembo-stoptech/ Brakes !
  23. Mine can.... And I've used a free pass for the day before this, so not in unfortunately.
  24. Well, for a start, "compete" on the strip, or the same dyno. Let's just say there would be a fair difference in those two dynos in terms of results.
  25. Put a couple of washers under the offside tower
