  1. Oops. CAN'T give blood. I fail on multiple thingos
  2. Buy a diesel.
  3. Can give blood myself, but props for an awesome idea, and giving back to the community. Well done Luke.
  4. It may well be a scam, but consider this. The 18 inch option will out sell the 16 inch option say for arguments sake 20:1. The cost of the 16 inch is higher therefore becaus the factory has to stop production of the 18, retool the machines to cast 16s in a small amount. Therefore the costs are higher. Economy of scale. The exact same thing happens with brake pads. Do a set of racing pads have triple the cost of materials in it than a set of boggo stocks? Nup, but the producer has to stop production of the pads that sell 98% of the market, and start making "Motorsport" pads.
  5. http://store.greddy.net.au/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=110&Itemid=93&vmcchk=1&Itemid=93
  6. Enter it in the SMSP South day! It's no fair just playing on its advantage
  7. Yeah, how you going with that.....? Mine works well. Sitting on the freeway it's 70 water, 70 oil. Even after a flogging oil only gets up to 80 something. Highest I have seen is about 105 after a 15 min track session. Needs better ducting. But it's all tractor related, so I won't go into details. Another tip. Run the black conduit over the top of braided lines to stop any rubbing on other parts.
  8. Message will be hat the ETC card isn't inserted into the reader, for obvious reasons. Jack will just be for audio equipment into the aux system. That ay you should be able to plug a iPhone in and play musics. There are strut regas services or buy new. The fuel flap rubbers actually have a part number. Search the stages thread, it's in there somewhere. Or use epc data. Yes, I've replaced remote batteries, you should do the same Biggest batty you can fit in the right configuration is the answer!
  9. If its 1pm lunch, we might have to look at booking a number / letting trackside know Also, going to take at least 1.5 hrs to get to Gosford from lane cove I think, on a Sunday.
  10. Any links? I'd like to see the dyno sheet for lolz.
  11. Well, with 30k Euro in the block, crank, head alone, you aren't going to get there with the $4000 euros left in your 50kAUD budget. Shit, your not going to even have an engine. Still need rods, pistons, All bolts/fittings valves and valve train gear, dry sump system, manifolds, turbo, gates. Thats before we get to clutch, GB, shafts, diffs. Budget well and truly busted.
  12. I suggest you look in here for some inspiration. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1575817-An-Example-of-Truly-Impressive-Turbo-Engineering $50k might get you the crank....? You'll need a more sizeable budget to achieve your very rigid specific goal. Ask them for a quote, prepare by sitting down.
  13. Doubt anyone has tried. No going to be bothered searching if anyone has. But you'll require 10,000+ rpm Something upwards of 50psi And a lot of strengthening, and flowing of all components. And it would be a complete dog to drive anywhere except down a 1/4 mile
  14. Buy a full stop first.
  15. Look, you might have been racing karts since you we're 11 and be the state champion, but in reality you probably are not. Probably never driven on a track before. Your just the same as everyone else. You have poor risk judgement skills. Not a personal attack, but its proven that guys don't develop them until later. Take our advice. Buy a shitbox that is cheap to run, and when you stack it, you won't cry into your car loan papers. Corolla, lazer, 323, lancer etc.
  16. Buy on condition, not the kms on the dash Avoid snow cars if possible Check normal used car stuff Import if you want a specific set of options and can wait Brakes, bearings, bushes, gearbox fluid colour, does it burn oil, Smoker car or not Etc
  17. No. Buy a corolla.
  18. Syn-x 6000 too. I also run it in the track car, which takes a beating without issue.
  19. They are a rare car Scotty. Think there is about half dozen owners on here, maybe a few more, but only a few are active.
  20. What do you want to know? You can look at my old build thread for some reading, or you looking for issues or something?
  21. Since I posted at the top of the page, I'm getting a "like" a day from these bots! It's very annoying.
  22. By the speed, 3rd automatic. 4th gear will be in the limiter.
