  6. Almost nothing. It's just not worth modding one besides some really basic stuff. It's too expensive for the gains compared to a turbo car. Anything from a 350z motors will fit them, so you can go nuts, but realistically, most people are happy to have a bit more noise and breathing. I don't want to give a power figure, cause whatever dyno you go on will be different. If I was to "finish" mine, it would have high flow cats and a uprev tune. No cams or headers. Mine currently runs 94mph, I think it was, down the 1/4. Compare that to the nm35 numbers in relation to power.
  7. Scotty, why don't you get a good electrician to tear one down and see what exactly fails. My old uprev one was a remanufactured OEM. I don't know if the s1 are as easy to get apart, but might be worth a go to see if you can learn to repair.

  9. Did you guys read the thread....? If its like the v35 then it has engine oil, engine oil filter, air filter, and something else I can't remember. It is manually set for xkms.

  11. Yeah, I still have all the software to tune it, so might take it for a tune to release a few ponies. However I can't justify it with the stock cats in place. So I'm caught in a catch 22. Don't want to spend on cats, but can't progress without them. A baby capsule will be the next mod, sometime in mid November. The 180 is defiantly satisfying my need for speed and track time better than the stages. Good decision.

  13. How are you planning to get the auto box to talk? Same pin out 5spd to 4spd? Or install a 5spd box without transfer case from a v35?
  14. Have you budgeted a rebuild of that stock turbo? If not, start saving. Cause the last thing you want is to put it all in to find out it needs a rebuilt.

  16. Yup, agree with you, when I cleaned them up this morning for storage, I also found the front left, the one I was having trouble with is 6 years old. Lol. I'll try some re55s on the front next track day. Wakefield wasn't actually cold yesterday, it was quite warm.
  17. I'm guessing if we CSI'd either of those wagons it'd look like a splatter storm. Guessing many good times went on in the back
  18. Do you have a cont fork at your work place? Easy way to stop a side loader is put a cont on top of the one with a car in it. Or bunt a cont directly to the back. All you have to do is stop access to the twist locks. Biggest thing with security is not letting people know what's in there. So be cautious when checking on it, and getting it out/in.
  19. Might add, I can't drive for shit, and I pussehed out under brakes lots. Also, semis are a lot more communicative v rsr, and I found myself catching oversteer better.
  20. Just got back from Wakefield. R888 can choke on a big dick. Mine were old, so they took a while to get some heat in and come back to life, but I got juddering understeer, the got hot, and then wouldn't turn. I had nt01 on the rear which was better, as newer, but found they went off after 5 or 6 laps. May need to decrease pressure more. End of the day, the semis were no faster than my federal RSR time.

  23. We all saw it at the SAUNSW tech might at Japlink. It still has a lot of work to do before WTAC, including a new turbo replacing the T88 from what the owner says. Also, a notable Japanese pro driver has been secured for the event by the guys.
