  1. Yeah, that's what I meant. It's pretty obvious when it does the idle learn. When hot, it revs up to 1800 rpm, then drops to the point it almost stalls, then goes back up to 600-650 and steadys. It can be hard to nail the timing, but it does work. Last resort is get Nissan to do it with consult.
  2. Beginning* EAD.
  3. If you have HICAS, then it's LSD. Most likely is AR-X models, however the lucky few have it as an option on the Rs/Rx. The throttle reset is tricky to get right. Go through from the begging, ecu reset, throttle position learn, and then idle learn.
  4. Lol. Just stop reading before you get to the part where I buy a shitbox and try to drive fast! Anyway, for service manuals, try to get the correct year G35 manuals online from the US cars. Awd drivetrain is G35x. Really, there isn't too much you need a service manual for. Routine servicing is a piece of piss. See you in stagea land. Don't be shy.
  5. Hey buddy, Welcome! Can't believe I found you in here, but we all hang out in the stagea section. Plenty of info in there. Try the search function first. Power duct is a factory item, lesser models have that area closed off. See you around stagea town!
  6. I'm here for the stage butthurt fail life seminar. It's free right, 45 mins and you'll change my life?
  7. Sounds great! I'll repay the favour if: A) your brave enough, and/or B) I don't break something early on!
  8. Interesting, Nick. Come at me lotto, and I'll see what the hype is about
  9. StageIan in his red C34 on the M2 this arvo.
  10. Having a guess by the look at the spokes and the offset, those have no chance of clearing. Are your brakes on the car yet? If not, you can take them and place them on the backs of wheels ou like to see if they clear. Varrstoen do some bbs knock offs too, 19x9.5 +22
  11. I find my a1rms were fine on the track. But I have a much lighter car. How much are clubracers worth? I just looked it up at $350 for some fronts, so I think I'll be ok with the QFM product.
  12. No, it's not. You can have a low offset wheel with rubbish clearance due to the spoke design. 2 or 3 piece rims generally state a J type disc reference. While lower offset wheels are more likely to clear, it is not a guarantee. Try to look at the rims on a r33 or 34.
  13. No way of telling josh. Is all about th spoke shape, not the actual size. If you have the wheels, go and fit it to a car with the brakes already on it. Or dummy mount them on the ground.
  14. Well there you go. That's a move for the positive. What's the plans? Hopefully engine conversion. I'd like to see that done.
  15. So you went from stock hardware with a1rms, to alcons with PMu.... Fair test?
  16. Where are you taking your wastegate pressure from?
  17. Nothing to fear. You just had a better navigator, yes, yes, that's the excuse. FB? Thats where you go to let everyone know what your eating for the day, via picture.
  18. Nope, let's hope not. Bloody so and so Leaf..... Being all fast and grippy, and shit.
  19. Wow. Not a good job. At least we know its in good hands now. Disappointed From a place I thought better of too. However many have been stung by the first time M35 turbo job. Edit. I miss Sidius. This thread delivered.
  20. did you click "attach"? Otherwise you can use flickr or other sites Welcome
  21. loads of pics! finally Joel got a pic of the 180 doing a decent skid!
  22. Nope, but they are multiple speed. I've noticed mine kick in at a couple of different speeds. Those of us with programable ecus also have the ability to maintain a chosen temprature as well. Mine is set to come in at 93 degrees. You'll know vq25dets run considerably hotter. When the car is moving at speed it is largely irrelevant IMO. But your clutch fan probably heat soaks your intake some more One thng I noticed is that with a big rad, there is loads more airflow through the engine bay at speed, and it washes the hot out too.
  23. Nah, forget about it. Not worth changing our design. Bigger radiator, low temp thermostat, and coolant mod is enough for the car never to get hot. And that's even on the track I believe. Oil temp on the other hand, needs a bit of work to keep down.
  24. So Nemo is competing again this year.
  25. It really isn't that hard to work out. I don't think posting name and shame is helpful for the reputation of this forum. Discussion on the video sure, but if you need a instant mob, PF is best.
