  1. Lol. Would love to see him turn to his board to find dicks drawn all over it!
  2. Thats a shame about brake failures. Just bad luck I guess, since the brakes and pedal boxes are control. Unless you didn't have enough air ducting. Any teams running water cooling, or has that gone with cotf?
  3. I think it wasn't even that hot at clipsal. I think I remember them saying it was just reaching 30, which comparatively is just warm. Seeing testing was over the hottest months of the year, you would have thought that this was encountered. I understand the point about the short runs, but surely the teams did some long distance runs, going through a whole tank. Anyway, at least it will be worsted by next race. If it happens again, I would be well pissed as a driver.
  4. I'm surprised that he footwell heat issues weren't found and sorted in pre season testing. Commentators said engines are within 1% of each other in output, which is fairly impressive.
  5. No worries buddy. Good to see you today. Hope your learnt a little bit bout it too. Cheers.
  6. I bet your globe has been disconnected. Codes were lodged on the ecu, which means they should bring up the light the next time the car is started.
  7. I'm in at this stage, pending work rostering.
  8. That's what the cool kids do these days. Took me about 20 mins to bleed the coolant. Defiantly an inprovement. Clipsal 500 coverage has begun!
  9. DIDN'T wash car! winnah!
  10. https://www.facebook.com/events/593724527321218/ its on the FB page so yeah. Sensible decision, if maybe unpopular.
  11. Can you haz garage full of Nissan? Yes, you can!
  12. Jelly? Christian, we're round the Hornsby area. I'll let Craig organise. I can lend him the laptop if needed.
  13. Did you do the ECU reset between trying the AFMs? I can read your codes / erase them. I can also Log the AFM volts to see if it spikes or does anything abnormal. Only one other car I have seen did this, and it has been running fine for a while now using one AFM after going through 3 or 4 in quick time. Simple things to check would be the connection, and a visual inspection of the wiring loom, and ECU plug. Make sure your AFM is sealed neat on the back of the airbox, and the filter is placed in so crap isn't getting by it.
  14. what air filter?
  15. Then if your keeping a warrenty, sort of rules out performance mods then doesn't it......
  16. Talk to Howaitonaito. There are multiple hurdles to cross doing that. Long story short, your better off buying something that is easier to get power out of, rather than trying to put power in this car. You will spend a lot more than what the car is worth to get it done.

  18. There is no point unless you want more louds. Search "Z tube" if you are still interested.
  19. Take it we are talking NM35 VQ25det? There are a few Japanese options, you can buy new, however a search through YAJ generally brings some second handys too. Anything Y pipe back from G35/V35 sedans will fit as well. That leaves dump and front pipe. I think most people get front pipes custom made, and Scotty's dump pipe seems the popular choice. Happy hunting.
  20. Overkill for street use is because if the pads are designed for hard use, the pad will be harsh and increase rotor wear on a daily car, as the pad doesn't get up to temp. QFM HPX is the go. Order fronts and rears and get free shipping from gsl rally sport.
  21. Been done Google is your friend. G35 2jz
  22. Lol. Worse. Mazda 323
