  1. Shit, forgot. This morning travelled behind a white pm35 with a nismo exhaust, and roof racks or more accurately roof bike racks on. About 520am through turramurra.
  2. I've posted it somewhere, can't remember for the life of me where. I *think* the top is the pressure flow out, and the bottom is the return. But I might be wrong! Worst you can do is hook it up, and swap it if you get it wrong. Here is something useful, seeing this post was lacking usefulness. I'm guessing your installing a cooler? Start the car when you have itall back together, and let the fluid heat up. Once it's hot, and you've checked for big leaks, re tighten all the clamps. They will go tighter once the lines are nice and warm. Otherwise you get leaks when hot.
  3. I'd love to see a rb20e try to do a 10 sec 100. Some poor bugger has one in aust. They should do a test.
  4. Lies. Just not factory Just get a Honda op. everyone else does.....
  5. Ummmm it is January now, and this is in feb...... Just sayin Braden.
  6. Best idea would be to try to borrow a working unit from someone, and try that out. If that works, grab one from the wreckers off a V35 / Z33. I think they are the same. But watch out for any unit that has a hole drilled in the plate. I don't think there are any replaceable parts within the unit itself. But someone will correct me if I am wrong.
  7. The LCD up down screen thing means it's broken. Ask iamhe77 for details. Really until the language conversion, it's near useless anyway. Does yours have traction control? If so, it's rwd. Or just check the vin. The snow thing just dulls the throttle response. Hope you enjoy your new car!
  8. I felt them overheat a couple of times. They aren't race spec, more high performance road. Fluid was fine, I only got long pedal once, and after a couple of corners it was fine. Overall they were pretty good, only overheated after I put some big stops into them on purpose to try it out. You'd want to go higher than 550 degrees for track days. Big old barges are hard on brakes.
  9. Don't know about "at home" but it sure did surprise a few people, and did not disgrace itself. Very fortunate to have such awesome people in the community. Thanks for the vids/pics guys.
  10. Is he your local member?
  11. Wow Andy! They are great pics! Thanks heaps. Cornering makes it look heaps lower! Josh, the are SSR type F wheels, 19x8.5 +22 with 225/40 tyres.
  12. Go for it.... some reading for you. http://www.rta.nsw.g..._standards.html http://www.rta.nsw.g...rn-creek-qa.pdf And in answer to your question - it will be a specific policy unit within the RTA. To make it clearer- its not the police, and its not the politicians themselves. The Laws would be drawn up by the dept, for submission. Maybe you should "right" a letter to your local state member of parliament outlining your concerns, and post it off. After you could find a exposed bit of hill on a windy day, face the wind and urinate.
  13. Is that the one about beers, sex, or race cars? Or all three together?
  14. Yup, that was my fastest run.
  15. Sheene Ellis. And ACA.
  16. Hey Mate, did you ever put up your vids of the Dry laps at the RENEW track day? I'd be interested to see it now...
  17. Thanks to Jetwreck
  18. Gah! Beaten by a R34 GTR! Suppose thats ok Yeah, we were watching the last track session, and looked very slippery. Michael, I think your car is set up for drift! Had to creep round the turn near the pits to get around it! edit- I reckon I could do that time if I had a handbrake. Have a stupid footbrake is useless, and I suffered massively for it.
  19. Thanks Guys
  20. CAMS come and try day : Firstly - Thanks to JETWRECK, WAGON_BOY, and ANDY65B (or whatever it is) for coming out with Cameras and stuff! Great to see you guys as always. Had a great day - fun/non serious atmosphere, loads of variety of cars. Very nice BB BNR34 GTR in the last session, and a few other Lines out there. Besides the "speed limit" I did manage to get up to a sneaky 140km/h down the back bit. Instructor was great - very informative and calm. Instilled a good level of confidence and level headedness. Motor held up fine - bloody over engineered the cooling system so the thermos didn't even switch on. Brake pads were the first thing to start to go, but only had a long pedal a couple of times over the sessions. Pity the traffic was so heavy. Would have liked to have at least one good timed session, but was stuck behind quite a bit of traffic. Motorkhana times- I did 4 runs. RWD: first lap - 33.82 then 31.82 Put the fuse back in so AWD 30.38 and best time of 29.67 before I pulled aside. Got a round a of applause from the timing crew, so I don't think many were below 30 secs. Hope they put the times up, but don't think they were officially recorded. Only other sub 30 sec time I heard was an Audi quattro wagon. Wagon FTW! All in all a great day! Now I know there is Pics and Vids of the Texi / Track- so please share Craig/Theo/Andy

  22. ^^^ Lol. Today at the CAMS come and try day - motorkhana session with my "coach" "Now Volvos have a pretty good turning circle don't they, my friend used to have one?" Ummmmmm....lol.
  23. Yup. Iain should buy it back and get rid of that ghey fiat 500.....
  24. Yup, the gauge is a massive pile of shit. By the time it moves off the normal mark it sits on, things have gone really bad somewhere. Bleed, and check for leaks. That's your first stop. Have to bleed with full heater on, and the nose of the car pointed downhill on a decent slope. Takes a while to master it.
