  1. What did you recieve? All I got was an email saying they recieved it and everything looked fine. More info in the coming weeks..... Will say Hi, don't laugh too hard when you see a Volvo out there....
  2. bit warm today boys? 36.7 at nobbys at 10am
  3. This sounds like air lock to me. Did you bleed your coolant system at all, or just re-fill it? Do you know the thermostat opening temprature, sure you got the right one? First thing to try is bleeding your cooling system, this must be done with the heat on full hot. Put a bleeder / or some kind of funnel rig into the top of your rad, and let the car warm up. Keep topping up the coolant, and check for bubbles. There is another bleeding screw in the manifold I have heard of, but I'm not good with RB25 motors. The waterpump is not the issue- because you would not have got 40 mins of driving with a broken pump without overheating. Other option is simply its too cold out in your winter, and the heatercore is cooling the motor enough not to need the flow of the radiator.
  4. Actually you have in a certain 350Z we know. That has the Invos on it.
  5. Technically I think you need a fire extinguisher for this. From what I read in the regs. I'm yet to receive a email with the extra details they said they'd send. Best to check with them if you dont have one.
  6. Mmmmm. Thread needs moar 6262. Great results Mat. Hope you get to enjoy it reliably for a while and have some fun in it at the events.
  7. Picked up an m35 nm35 pnm35 oil sump pan from Nissan. Sorry just being obvious for the search function. It's the bottom black thingo, so if you dent it, you can replace with Part number 11110-AL810 I modified mine for an oil return, so when we took the turbo off, we placed with with a beaten out one until I could get a new one. List price is $170 plus gst. Maybe a little cheaper.
  8. Maybe it'll help with the chronic under steer emos have. And of course you'll look great when you hard park at the next jdmsyolo meet.
  9. True, true.... But its not like its snuck up on him. Gotta pay if you want to play!
  10. whats hard about going to the bank, and doing an international transfer.....?
  11. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when you let kids draw tread patterns. (actually, heard they are pretty good from more than one person) Nitto Invo
  12. lots of people put them in RHD 350zs Can't see it being any different mate, and Coz is a straight up guy.
  13. Sidewall is obviously dependent on width. Use you std rolling diameter as a guide, but I've got 40 profiles on 19s, and am satisfied with the ride/handling balance. 18s 45 is good. You have to weigh up tyre options too, some niche sizes are very expensive, comapred to something a tiny bit different that will have a much larger range of options.
  14. choose one from here.... http://nissan.epc-data.com/stagea/nm35/6838-vq25det/misc/H49/
  15. There are a couple of different types. Did you have one in mind? From what I know, there is the hard rubber / plastic one, with the turned up edges, OR there is a rubber backed, with fabric top soft shaped one.
  16. QFT. OP - Do not pass go, do not collect $200 until you have answered this.
  17. Diesel is no where near as flammable as petrol/E85. I don't think it would be an issue on those machines. However, (and not wishing it upon you at all) if you were to go up the back of someone, into a wall, or strike wildlife, I would not want a pressurised fuel line right at the front of the car. Would there be some fuel - water exchanger options that could be mounted compactly in the rear somewhere?
  18. lol. coming from a guy with a stock 33, with a blanked off BOV. Burn indeed.
  19. #3 sounds like a fireball waiting to happen IMO. Is the core options a sort of Fuel - water cooler setup?
  20. 13 inches. because F1 car.
  21. The tailshaft loop. Or just put a little dent in the exhaust at the appropriate place. You'll see what I mean.
  22. RB must have shoved Marko out there to make news, while Horner and Newey get on with the real work without being bothered by the press. Why else would he be such a douche when nothing was heard from him pretty much all last season
  23. Because P plates?
  24. Wire brush it up - the exhaust as little crush gaskets in it, little round thing at the tail end of the car. Its metal gaskets at the end of the Y pipe. put a bit of sealant on if you want, but I wouldn't bother too much. Just so you know, you might have to modify the loop that holds the tailshaft up in case of breakage. The midpipe gets very close, and can result in banging over bumps. Best way - if its close take it off. Regarding the springs - I do think they have a different coloured "dot" on them to my stock springs, but visually, I can't tell any difference. maybe they are a tad harder?
