  11. I've been to many over 20 years! Family cars have even had some sucess. Can't say the Japanese cars have a big presence in the concours scene. That's why I don't personally hold jap cars to the same condition standards that a European car would have. Has anyone actually done a ground up nut and bolt rebuilt of a skyline to competitive concours standards?
  12. Mmm strong cultural unaware ....
  13. Anime movie. Makes you look like an idiot IMO.
  14. DVS jez is a well respected tuner on SAU, he is located up the central coast, and has tuned uprev.
  15. ^^^ Totally agree if you want to take that definition of concours. I would consider them to be in the best condition one would expect in aust. There may be a adm car that is "concours" however, I doubt aust has any jdm cars in that level because they wouldn't be shipped out of Japan. Adm because someone may have locked one away and not driven it at all.
  16. Couple of things, the nismo edition is certainly not the pinicle of the 32 range. While being rarer, it's value is more down the vspec end of things rather then the N1 end. Secondly there certainly are concours condition cars in Australia, Bobs 32s a jdm and adm are as good as you'll see anywhere I believe. Certainly different to the 2000km car, but they are of the highest standard.
  17. Electronically. One of the guys came across an item in yahoo Japan auction the other day that was a service to wind back the clock. If the condition of the car doesn't match whats in front of you, then its been wound. There are other things like De-Reg certs that capture the kms based on the last 3 years (I think), and of course the auction sheets for the car. But really, what does it matter - buy off condition rather than the number on the dash. We all know most of the dealers wind it back. Its no big surprise.
  18. Thanks to Nick for the update
  19. How much for a (almost) unused one? http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/NISSAN/SKYLINE/700101006920120412003/index.html
  20. how did you go with the sway bars? changing them around have any effect?
  21. In my opinion only: In Australia clean unmodified and original cars are hard to come by, however they are not rare cars overall. Stock collectible cars are already increasing in value over more worn/modified models. However, and its a big however, there were 40,000 + R32s made. The more collectable cars in my "order" would be Race/GrpA/Historically signifigant cars, ADM models, N1, Nismo cars, VSpec II, Vspec, and then the rest.
