  1. .........? Why she throw herself at some busted ass VW passat? bishes have no taste.
  2. Hello Gents. Just so happens I had a little conversation with the Owner of Mercury Motorsport at the SAU nats about this car, and found out some details. I'll read the rest of the thread, since I've been gone and fill in the blanks.
  3. Spotted a few Stageas down at the SAU nationals over the 3 day event! A White RS260 ACT plates at the track day on Friday at Wakefield. 3 C34s (Nick, Gavin, and another white RS4 S - sorry forgot your name ) and My M35 in the Show and shine today! And a Silver M35 Axis parked in a rest area southbound on the outskirts of Sydney on the hume about 4:30 today.
  4. Saw the funniest thing on the say to work yesterday just on the south side of the city. I pull up to the lights behind an old Van. I know this van because I've seen it before on the way to work. It has those big old sunroofs that old luxo Jap vans had. On the opposite side of the road is one of those Christmas decoration clearance places. Now the Christmas place has put people on the comers of the intersection to wave the signs. So, I pull up behind it, and there is a young bloke hanging out the top of the sunroof (I've seen them out the sunroof before when its stopped at lights). On the other side of the road is a cute girl, not stunning, but kind cute, dressed up in a short Santa costume waving this sign back and forwards dancing away. Bloke pops out the sunroof, tries to start a conversation. She turns out to be a German backpacker, and speaks no English. Problem? Nope - He speaks school boy German! Proceeds to swap numbers while hanging out a sunroof, across lanes of traffic, to a dancing girl, dressed only in a kinky Santa costume. I know a little German, so I was chuckling away in the car watching this go on. Sometimes I love what goes on in traffic
  5. How many will I spot on the weekend at SAU Nationals?
  6. You'll need a RWD sump, not the AWD. Go to Mercury motorsport and make them an offer on one they have sitting around.
  7. main problem with a FI VQ35 is the strength of the connecting Rods. Fine for low boost, but VQ25 has more unopened potential.
  8. cause one is a GT-R and has all the good things that go with a GT-R and the other one isn't. Seriously, just have a read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Skyline#R34
  9. By hand generally. I've just stopped putting them on stupid tight. At worst I need a rag to grip it. I've noticed that oil filters are much harder to get off hot than cold. Which sucks, because mechanics 101 says warm up oil before dropping it. If possible loosen it off a little cold before warming the oil up to drop it. Even when I found a filter that was too loose (and tightened it up) it still didn't drop any oil.
  10. A few interesting things to spot there.
  11. TSR - Tsurikawa Subway Ring Used to define people who are "scene" people.
  12. Engine Earthing Kit- Used to seperate those who can actually do work/mods to their car, and those who just buy shit off Ebay. Related - Any "Performance Chip" on Ebay. OMGWTFBBQ - the general feeling of chirping 2nd (or 3rd)
  13. Guten Tag. Your English is better than my German! Heaps of info round here, especially on the RB26. Enjoy your stay, and let us know about whats going on with your car!
  14. I would but mine isn't a good representation of a result because of a turbo kit, and I've re-programmed the ECU to alter line pressures. There are plenty of Syd cars out there. you won't have a problem finding one.
  15. THTOTF - Tai1or has taken over the forum. FMIC- front mount intercooler as opposed to the stock SMIC - Side mount intercooler. BCM - body control module CAS - crank angle sensor TB - tuberculosis or throttle body WOT- wide open throttle . (Vtard favourite) A/T - Automatic transmission, or if your a yank you seem to put a number in front for the gears 5AT
  16. Ask someone to take you for a drive in a Transgo equipped car.
  17. Def not factory because they are slotted. Don't think anybody would be bothered cutting slots in a stock rotor. Regards machining- I *think* minimum thickness is gauged by the depth of the slot. IE- when you have worn part of the slot off, then its time to replace. If this is the case, they are fine for machining becuase the slot is still clearly visable.
  18. were they machined below the minimum recommended thickness? Should be fine if they are quality rotors, and have enough meat on them. But its up to you, if you want to buy new ones, buy some new rotors. Not going to do any good trying to bed in a pad on that scratched up rotor.
  19. Will be great to see this car when it hopefully hits the road. Who knows where their going to put a T62R in that engine bay, but if you make enough space I guess where the airbox sits. Good move taking the VQ35 insted of a 25. Easier to handle the cams. Wonder if they just got a build block from the USA or if it was built here?
  20. A workshop in Brisvegas posted on facestalk they are building a Stroked 4.2 litre, HKS T62R, Getrag 6 spd conversion M35. Even though Leon is crazy I don't think he's quite that crazy. Suspect the owner will make us wait in suspense
  21. looks broke. time to get it sorted. 3 track days and 20k kms is doing pretty well on a set of pads. new pads and get the discs machined and bed the new ones back in, you'll be sorted.
  22. So, whos going to own up and confess that they spent an ass load of money at a Queensland workshop and will potentially come away with the wildest M35 in the world?
  23. This is defiantly off topic... arrrrhhhh - be warned.
  24. Different Plenum setup, fuel rail, and just some little things here and there. Once down to the lower intake runners its the same - but thats most of the battle. I have to get it all off in the near future, so I might take pics.
  25. Question is- can I be bothered going to the same extent with the VQ35de version of instructions.
