  1. IMO 20s are not good for the ride of the car, and they don't handle well with the choice of tyres either. 18/19 is a far better option. You'll never get a flush look with the Axis/ARX because of the large lip on the guards. This is 19x8.5 +22 and 225/40/19 lowered on Nismo springs, but not very low. Not a rub or scrub on anything. Sorry I don't have any down the side of the car pics handy.
  2. Cause safety for Dynos. Nothing ruins your day more than a car flying off a Dyno. I'll bet on taking the mechanical coupling out before trusting that witchcraft that is electronics.
  3. mmmm PNM35s have a little lip that means you have to drop it I think i remember. You don't have to drop the trans but support it and lowering it down helps a lot.
  4. You need to lower that lots if you want stance kids to respect. Anyways. I've made my feelings known about stance, so I'm not going to be like a broken record. I've also said to OP that he should mod his car to his taste. Its not up to me to tell him what to do. Thule roofracks and demon stance will make your car look like a USDM style stance honda civic. You have ticked almost every flatcap stance kid cliche, bar the sticker bomb / rusted panel look. JDMST loves you. Thats my opinion and I'll leave it at that. I'm bugging out.
  5. nope. its sealed. Just make sure you clean the splines off before you put the shaft back in.
  6. Remove the shaft that goes from Transfer case to front Diff. You'll need some decent tools, and to drop the gearbox a bit too via the cross member. Undo the 4 Allen key bolts on the front diff end, and the other end pops out. Pretty easy if you have the right tools and access to a hoist.
  7. Tuesday- was on teh news. And constant lolz at co-worker who buy lotto tickets in the vain hope they will finally win something. Its as mindlessly pointless as poker machines to me.
  8. THIS. This is a good thing. Lots of retards I have seen stick it in the middle of the screen right in front of them. But realistically- They'll be more interested in defecting your pod filter than enforcing this.
  9. Sorry, this might be obvious, but do you have the front undertray on? Debris isn't getting up in there and causing damage?
  10. If your names Tony you must like it huh? B&M shifter...is that all you got? How about a hollinger, or a Porsche GT3 cup car, V8 supercar? Suppose they got it wrong- better tell them. Cam - open the paper to the car reviews. What do you see economy measured in? Ever seen MPG or Km/L lately? Thats what I call industry standard, and so other car companies that see in Aust. Toyota, ford, holden all in Lts/100kms. The car has a range display, so knowing how many litres left is largely useless. Anyway, the Russians agree with me. Don't like it, go design your own software
  11. industry standard. Just like how they got it wrong with the direction of the tiptronic- but people will swear they like it till the cows come home. Doesn't mean they got it right. I swapped the direction of that too...
  12. thank fark for Lts/100km. Km/litre piss me off something chronic. Not that my econ actually works at the moment, but yeah. Conversion meow?
  13. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/391632-steam-pipe-single-turbo-manifolds-on-fleabayanyone-know-anythging-about-this-supplier-and-their-products/
  14. Whining under acceleration sounds like a turbo on the way out if afraid. Although wheels bearings are also known to go, but it would be more constant and speed dependent.
  15. Fishing much? No it doesn't. Mine sound big. Because it is big.
  16. His sounds fine. In fact it's the quietest one I've heard. Doesn't mean it won't blow up, but it's not noisy.
  17. Hahaha.... Indian officials in cotton gloves. Track looks like the plucked it from a book of all these other modern tracks.
  18. Don't think it did anything on 19psi, that it wouldn't do on 16 psi considering Theos @ low 200s on 98.
  19. A Bit on that - there is a table within my ECU that lists load(BFS) against RPM to let the ECU communicate with the Auto to tell it what to expect when. I suspect that when you mess round creating different BFS levels the ECU might get a little confused as to what to do with the Auto trans. I don't know if it relearns this behaviour, but I did have to adjust my table to suit new injectors.
  20. Spotted a Green C34 in the eastern distributer the other night- Thought it was Nick.... but when I got close it was a Camry wagon
  21. Hey... just using the data in front of me to try to interpret the issue. Can't a dude be wrong once in his life? Revs was the same between the to ECUs, Timing wasn't, and fuelling I can't remember if HKS measured pulse width or not. Question Scotty- there are multiple screens to turn O2 feedbacks on within the software. Can the New computer intercept the O2 sensor signal, and apply it to correct teh fuelling, even though Fcon doesn't have a fuel target table?
  22. MSWord mate! Theo- AFM still isn't maxed out..... MOAR boosts! Actually, I don't even know if you can max the AFM with a stock turbo- The only ones who have all have h.flows.
  23. This is a screen shot of the log, unfortunately it won't let me upload the exl file.... scnshotuprev.docx
  24. Exactly right. As I said it goes Stock ECU > aftermarket>engine. So Ign timing is not correct for the engine, but other things like Cams, AFM, and BFS are all able to be seen accurately.
  25. Jez also found some little parts of the pre-loaded tune that were no so good - and sorted them out. I've got some logs from the power runs. Might load them if I can be stuffed
