well im running map sensor ecu and my hand controller tells me my throttle position so yes you will need it

best bet take the tailshaft off send it to get balanced by a tailshaft engineer

definatly a rb25 box the switch you can see in the pic is the reverse or neutral switch. to change the speedo from electronic to cable is go get cable speedo drive out of a mx7 gearbox from nissan they about 40 bucks

yeah mine is a engine conversion with a microtech however the battery has gone flat a few times and nothing has changed so i guess i should be fine then

the 3/4unf -16 is the one you need not the metric series like duncan said send it back to just jap and get the correct one they supply ones just for skylines

thanks vic, yeah the worst thing about it it was a cop that used to pull me over all the time before it had the conversion so he just wanted to pick on me some more. im hoping i can just get away with a change of engine number form due to the R.A.C horsepower rating is exactly the same as the rb30. im more worried about having to get all the zorst changed due to the cat has been welded in and it has been gutterd.

unless they are for a vl they wont do haha ride hieght is fine its the wheels in the guards that were the problem with the carbon canister you can see that there isnt one because the metal pipe from the fuel tank is in the engine bay with nothing on it haha

cost me $189 to get a small power steering line made with a banjo fitting and and a screw fitting on the other end

on that subject anyone got a carbon canister lying around i can buy i need one ASAP

i have searched but not all my questions were answerd. i got a yellow on the vl tonight for being to low does this mean they will check just whats on the paperwork or everything if everything what would be the go with a rb25det into a n/a and getting it over the pits its just a stock rb25det with stock turbo and just front mount

my recomendation just jap return flow cooler. i have a hybrid cooler on my vl running a stock r33 rb25det with microtech ecu the lag isnt to much of a problem i hit full boost around 3800 i think however im going larger turbo soon so shouldnt be to much of a problem. the jusp jap is great if your on a budget and i have heard nothing but good feedback about them

hey guys i need to change the globes in my dash cluster. to be safe i need to disconnect battery as per normal however i have just had a microtech ecu put in would me disconnecting the battery effect the ecu in anyway such as ecu looses tune memory?

should i run the bosch 040 on its own and take out the external all together or the 040 to feed the 044

ok now i know im on a skyline forum here however im running a bosh 044 external pump its the stock position of a external pump on a vl. the vl uses a dual pump system. currently im using the stock lift pump and its running fine but in the next few months im planning on going bigger injectors (750cc) which im gathering im then going to be getting starvation issues. i dont want to run a surge tank purely because its a street car. what would be the best intank pump to run a bosch 044

i have a h/d button clutch at home out of a mf5 gearbox (vl n/a gearbox) from when the vl had the n/a rb30 which is now rb25 with r33 box. will this clutch fit the r33 box seeing tho it only had less than 10 000 kms used on it with plenty of meat left. i just dont want to throw it out thats all and the stock r33 clutch is on its way out so if i can save money i will be more than happy to do so forgot to mention the MF5 uses a 9.5" flywheel same as r33

install it yourself easier enough just use a dummy shaft to align it and your set

yeah you may be able to get a extradornary license but be careful if you have lost your license you may find it hard

either that or a 4AGE with a supercharger or turbo
