  1. yeah sounds great i have no idea when it comes to wiring problem is im not free on sat im at work until 1 then i have a work function until 730 so sunday would have to be the best day pm me and let me know and ill send you my address
  2. i have worked out what the problem is. the r33 fuse box is on the drivers side so when they wired in the rb25 loom they didnt hook up the tail lights relays etc to the passenger side. so i have all the fuses and relays for the tailights on the drivers side(part of the r33 loom) how to i go by changing this back to the vl fuse box
  3. in my opinion if its street leave standard cams i posted a thread ages ago about cams and most people came back with if its street leave the standard cams. if you have a 26 head on a 30 block leave the standard cams

  5. i use Bob Gaycorst he is well knwon in the perth drag scene he is in jandakot and works from home ill try and find his number if anyone needs to. he built my rb30 head

  10. it wouldnt have done any major damage just check for splits and loose joiners

  13. thing is im not looking at drifting or tracking it and im only looking at running 300rwkw down the track. and its only going to really be street and maybe a bit of strip use so i cant justify spending that money on a sump when i got a spare sump laying around. also the tuner just tuned my car and has had no oil pressure issues so i dont even know if its worth changing it but to be on the safe side i might change it
  14. well he said he has a new CAS bracket so all he needs now is new CAS and exhaust cam

  16. well im not having any oil pressure problems so i guess it should be ok but to be on the safe side i might still repair it

  18. but doesnt solve the dent problem if i need to replace my sump how do i remove the sump without taking out the engine its a rb25det in a VL btw
  19. all good the sandwich plate problem has aparently been sorted they didnt check the oring it had been pinched and was leaking through there
  20. thing is my tuner only wants to do a basic tune until i fix the dent in the sump because he reckons its going to cause problems however when i put the motor in i checked the sump and tiny dents didnt bother me i have seen some big dents in my time also being a engine rebuilder i just think he is trying to take me for a ride. and with the sandwich plate its the main center stalk that its leaking around aparently not sure ill have to have a good look myself i think. i reckon maybe it was just a pinched oring or something
  21. so im not making another thread for a similar problem my tuner just told me there is a small dent in the sump and it could cause problems what do you guys think. im only running a standard rb25det with 10psi and a microtech ecu. i dont know if he is trying to take me for a ride but it is hard because i can not get down there to look at it myself due to my work hours. what are your thoughts
  22. sorry guys it was a oil pressure sandwich plate on ebay. it is a autometer sender for a autometer guage and the oil is pissing out from the threaded part and yes there are 2 orings
  23. hey guys i dont know if this is in the correct section r31 nismoid feel free to move this if in wrong section bought a oil sandwich plate to fit my oil pressure sender off ebay however it does nothing but piss out oil no matter how tight i do it up. does anyone know where to get one that is not a china made one i dont want this problem again.
  24. hey guys my car has just come back from tuners after having a microtech wired into it. however my taillights dont work. aparently they replaced my fuse box but i dunno. i cant drive the car anywhere because i have done a engine conversion and dont want a yellow. does anyone know a auto sparky or someone that could help me im not confident when it comes to wiring
  25. yeah sorry my bad im still running the standard cross over pipe aswell to go with the standard throttle body until i can afford a aftermarket throttle body. but your right im not running a return cooler only thing i can suggest is maybe run some ceramic tape on the piping where the they are close to each yes it doesnt look the best but if its performance your after it could keep the temps down i might be wrong but thats just my opinion
