Stopped by my mates shop yesterday and by chance the topic popped up. I mentioned that myself and a few others thought it was the intake sucking closed. An hour later I had a new intake pipe and all is sorted. Thanks for all your help guy. -

Sorry for the late Reply guys. I have been away with work. Haven't touched it yet. But will be fixing it next week. I just haven't decided if I will do it of pay someone else. Feel a case of the lazys coming on. Car made 234kw at 6400 rpm before the boost dropped. That was on 1.1 bar. (Tuned at unigroup). I had one of those jjr silicone pipes before but it split so I put the modded one in. -

Hey guys. I'll start with my problem. I lose boost (i mean 0 psi, zip, nada) at 6500rpm ish most of the time. I say most of the time as once in a while it won't do it and be fine to limiter. Other times it will only lose a few psi and then kick back to 14. So 95% Boost Drops to zero and my car loses power. S1r33 gtst. Mods. Hyper gear high flow. Project b 2 set to 14psi. Yellow jacket coils. Fmic. 3in tbe. Walbro in tank. Nistune. Factory intake modded so it doesn't suck closed. Tune has been looked at by 2 well known tuners and they both think its not the tune. But something else. Now when I run the car at 10psi it doesn't seem to have the problem. this leads me to think its in boost control. So is there anything I should be looking at with the profec b? Could the actuator be adjusted in any way? Thanks peeps.

Hey guys. Bit of a noob with turbo specs etc (ar's housings etc mean nothing to me). I am after a internally gated turbo that I can put on a stock manifold and I was recommended to look in to Kando turbos. I have no idea what all the different specs mean. But long story short, I am after a responsive turbo and looking at around 230 to 250 kw. guys. As per my above post. Is this the part that will screw on to the block so i can then run the rest of my existing oil cooler/relocation set up? http://www.rhdjapan....er-type-f-26621 As you can see it says there are different centre bolts and what not. Now i have the R33. What is the part that i need to go on the engine block where the filter would normally sit? So i lowered my fuel pressure as per the gauge to about 45 psi.... Car would hardly start, spluttered when gave some throttle. im starting to think the gauge is wrong. How should a fuel pressure gauge be set up. My sensor is between the fuel filter and the FPR, Is this right? -
Hi there people more knowledgeable than me. New to the skyline world but been around cars all my life. I have not long ago purchased an R33 GTST series 1 with the following mods. - 3inch turbo back exhaust - K&N air filter in stock airbox - yellow jacket coil packs - nismo fuel pressure reg - walbro 500hp intank fuel pump Car is otherwise stock (including boost pressure and BOV). My car is running like shit. Rich as all hell. Massive pops on gear change/overrun, black soot all over the rear bar and getting ~300km to a tank on the highway. My fuel pressure seems to be way too high. About 60 psi at idle. What should it be and how can I adjust it? When I install a FMIC and up the boost (as we all know this will happen sooner or later) will I need to adjust it again? Also the car occasionally hunts at idle. (600 to 900 rpm). I am guessing its not a vac leak as it doesn't do it all the time. Will fixing the fuel pressure problem fix the occasional hunting? Will fixing the fuel pressure fix the economy issues? Will an ECU reset also assist? Anything else i should check? Thanks very much for your time. Paul.
