im after a spray painter in western sydney to spray my car the same colour and remove some minor dents and to put my sideskirts back on again open to suggestions

if you know what is good for you, you wont even buy a skyline cars are a waste of money unless you got money so if you expect to beable to service, maintenance, petrol, tyres , rego and very expenive insurance you wont beable to enjoy the car. cant just buy a car and thats it. insurance on my gt-t $2300. first yr of having my full licence was $2800 with no driving offences and clean record. tyres every 6 months $1100 depending on deals rego and green slip $1200 services every 5000km $ 250+ any extras petrol get 350kms out of a tank usually $70-85 of 98 a week then you will want more power out of it and do modifcations cant afford all that on a part time job or even a apprenticeship wage. in 6 yrs time when you can legally drive the car on the road if you dont lose your licence in that time, it wont even be worth having and r35 gtrs will be at a cheap price

yea like hes gained our trust then now hes got it trying to rip us off blind

my friend and 1 have been going to the same mechanic for a while he seems to do great work but i think he is ripping us off now. when i take my car to get a service im charged 1 1/2hrs labour when it takes him 45mins and within that time has about 3 smoke breaks. i bought an oil cooler off him and installed it within 2 1/2hrs with no mechanical background. my friend asked him how much for an oil cooler installed we both have gtts he said parts and labour 5-6hrs at $110 n hr, not sure y it would take him that long just for an oil cooler. my friend got a power fc installed asked him if that the best ecu you can get he said yes so he went ahead with it at a quoted price for 1550 then he called and said he cant do it at that price after he already quoted it but my friend said thats the price u quoted so he excepted it, when he was tuning it told my friend he needed a new fuel pump as it was broken but was working fine when he dropped it off and made the price 2000 and didnt give back the stock ecu. my friend asked for a quote on a bigger turbo and he told him that he will need a nistune ecu because its better for the upgrade turbo then the power fc. so the quote was $6000 for parts and labour was depending on how long it takes them. i trusted the mechanic at the start now i think he just wants to rip us off because times are bad for him atm.

has the car been engineered for all the modifcations?

hi i got my rego papers and it telling me my 1998 skyline gt-t coupe is 1512kgs so im in the highest paying bracket. ive been looking at stats online and they are all saying my car should be 1410kgs. there for save my self 100 bucks if my car is 1410kgs anyone else had this problem ? link from the rta for prices http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/feesconcessions/registrationfees.html

hmm sounds like u have a problem with ur ecu i can lend u mine in trade for urs and see how it goes may fix ur problem dw i wont charge u for it either

yea 150 for the day , 50 for the license for a yr membership and 20bucks to hire a helmet if needed
