I have a nismo 2 way in my 34 and its locks and bangs around at lower speeds when turning corners, reversing or going forward, its hard to say if your diff is farked or not depending on what type it is, id say its fine just get used too the noises -
+ 1 for carsales, bought my 34 off there

Is Hitting The Rev Limitter Bad

I had a cefiro with over 100k's on it and i would atleast hit limiter once a day for the 8 months i had it, its still going strong! but ive fitted a bee r to my 34 to be a bit safer -
A low temp thermostat should fix your prob at the moment, i went two 12" davis craig fans on my 180 with a temp switch and for all the effort and money i should have just kept the clutch fan with a low temp thermostat. My 2c
