  1. Thanks for the reply tiberis, from what you've translated that does make sense. I'll try poking the hole *that's what he said* tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks again for your help!
  2. so anyone know how 'limited' the signature edition actually is?
  3. Although I'm probably being biast...I say VSpec II's. You can get some ridiculously cheap 34 GTR's now like this one, but for the *typically* better condition, lower k's and reassurance of a little extra when it comes to resale you can't really go past VSpecII's. I found that black, bayside blue and MP had better resale values over silver and white examples.
  4. From Whiteline: "Chassis bracing maintains alignment angles and spring rates by greatly reducing body or chassis flex. In fact, it helps every component in the suspension system do its job properly and you can feel the difference through improved turn-in, sharper steering response along with greater steering feedback." If they were useless they wouldn't be used in motorsport.
  5. Seeing as it's a concept I doubt this will be going into production, it's more an example of what we're likely to see in future models. More to the point, when are they ever going to produce an underpriced Lamborghini? They're not really going for the average-income deomographic...
  6. Wow, that's amazing!! Stephan Winklemann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said of the Sesto Elemento, "It is our abilities in carbon-fibre technology that have facilitated such a forward-thinking concept, and we of course also benefit from the undisputed lightweight expertise of Audi AG. Systematic lightweight engineering is crucial for future super sports cars: for the most dynamic performance, as well as for low emissions. We will apply this technological advantage right across our model range. Every future Lamborghini will be touched by the spirit of the Sesto Elemento." I guess the Jota will have similar design features...here's some more official shots:
  7. here's a bunch of 'teaser' shots previously released, 1. Bonnet: 2. Engine cover: 3. Dash through to cabin (seat and steering wheel in background): 4. Wheel: 5. Possibly the world's sexiest seat through to steering wheel: 6. Rear vent with spoiler base:
  8. Yeah, I admit it does look a bit like Megatron, but I reckon the official pics, when they come out, will do it justice. In the end I think I could put up with the looks for Veyron-matching performance capabilities.
  9. Wow, can't wait till it's officially unveiled... http://www.themotorreport.com.au/50895/lam...in-leaked-image
  10. haha settle down Philby! they only bump em up to around 85volts
  11. hmmmm anyone know Japanese??
  12. Hi all, Just trying to identify an indicator light on my 34 GTR. It's down to the left of the steering wheel and has Japanese markings along with 1000km and 5000km printed on each indicator. Whilst driving the left '1000km' light illuminates orange however the right '5000km' remains unlit. My thoughts are it has something to do with the run-in servicing of the vehicle? Here's some photos:
  13. I NEED NOS but on a serious note, definitely has to have an R35 now unserious...how awkward and out of place does Paul Walker look in this shot??? I mean, he's smiling?!?! That ain't gangsta yo
  14. Not sure if you have compared your 'Nismo' plenum to the actual Nismo plenum I posted, but apart from the badge there are several other noticable geometry differences. And in regard to the badge, I highly doubt that a quality manufacturer such as Nismo would let such an obvious mistake pass through their QA department. Anyway, you could easily solve this dilemma by posting a photo of the cast part number on the underside of the plenum...
  15. make sure you stick the badge on the right way next time champ
  16. surely the Nismo badge makes it worth it
  17. Nulon lifter-free & tune-up
  18. Sounds like something inside the cabin (door/dash panel, etc.) is hitting its natural frequency which will cause it to resonant. This is usually a result of mechanical looseness. Go over all your interior trims and make sure the bolts/pins are secured properly.
  19. Cheers for that. I'll do a bit more research and see if I can confirm.
  20. Anyone have an answer for this? I'm in the same boat with my VSpec2
