Hi everyone, I know there's been a few threads before, but none recent. I'm looking for a good detailing service here in Canberra. Not some crappy "old mate will wash it with a dirty cloth and spit on a rag to shine her up" kinda job, but rather someone that will take paint thickness measurements, clay bar, restore paint quality etc with all the right equipment and products. All suggestions appreciated

BSB... I already have a MNP 34. I'd pay about $35-40k for a non v-spec with higher kms and about $45k-55k for a tidy low km example. MNP will cost more

Avoiding too many ROM based rehab exercises as apparently the best type of rehab for it is the iso stuff right now until I can do that comfortably without pain. So yes, time to back off on heavy presses and take the rehab very seriously, today's session had no pressing to target the chest, rather just a pec fly. Currently hitting legs 2-3x per week depending on how many sprint sessions I do as well (aiming for 2 per week). Hopefully it all comes together nicely and I can get back to the presses before long. Appreciate your suggestions

Sorry for the late reply Birds, I had my elbows checked out by my physio last week, and she said it appears to be that the tendons are inflamed and it's a bit of an odd case in the fact that it isn't narrowed down to either tennis elbow nor golfer's elbow. I've been advised to stop stretching my triceps (overhead tri stretch) for the time being as that just aggravates and pulls on the tendons further, and also to carry out to isometric contraction holds (elbows at 90, push against solid surface as hard as possible with no pain for 10sec then 30sec rest x 5 reps) a few times per day for now to see how it reacts. Now in response to some of your questions, I've had the issue for quite some time now although it has gotten worse the heavier I lift. When I did a 50kg DB floor press the other day it really seemed to disagree with that movement and it has been sore ever since. The worst exercises that will definitely cause that pain seem to be anything that puts the triceps in a stretched state, so that's why skull crushers and overhead tri extensions are out of the question; they have been for some time now to say the truth. I'm avoiding presses for now while it settles a little, but then the physio has advised my to start performing heavy triceps pushdowns as the elbows and tendons seem to prefer this type of movement for strengthening as it allows blood flow into an otherwise quite restricted area.

I haven't had it diagnosed as of yet, but I'll mention it to my physiotherapist tomorrow morning when I see her and report back

Would an XL size seat still fit on the rails and in the assigned space of a r34 properly? Asking on behalf of fellow weight lifters who struggle to fit their thighs into the standard sized seats. -
Where are you located? I have a genuine garage impul front bar to suit r34 gtt here in Canberra

This thread just took me on a feels trip. Anyways, best tips and tricks on elbow pain management, treatment, and prevention? I currently roll out (lacrosse ball) my forearms and triceps prior to beginning any upper body sessions, and also at the completion of said sessions. I cannot do any bench press sets with a heavy weight as it kills my elbows, yet I can press 50kg dumbbells without pain to the same extent. I also avoid skull crushers and the like as they usually flare up the issue. Any advice is welcome, especially from the older lads on here with more experience in injury management over the years.

Appreciate all the input guys. Birds, the surgery wasn't joint or muscle related, and therefore won't affect my lifting at all so that's not to worry. It was just sinus surgery (septoplasty, turbinate reduction, etc.) so I was unable to lift for a few weeks due to limiting any head tilting/blood pressure rises, and how easily a nosebleed can reoccur. Prior to that was a long travelling stint through Japan, so all up that meant around 2-3 months off. Mobility is a must, and there have been some great suggestions to accompany that. I've had two basic sessions so far with light loads in some of the bigger movements to suss them out and how I bounce back currently. I may just make a build thread as to not clog up this thread with endless discussion. Cheers

You're in Japan, the land of the weird and wonderful. Surely you can find some cheap fender mirrors at an upgarage and test mount them? -

What are peoples opinions on here about the ideal program to re start your training after some time off due to travelling and a surgical procedure? My gut tells me something like a starting strength program, although my knowledge tells me it may be better to ease into it with something less joint intensive rather than stretch out a lower weight phase of a strength program.
